Do you punch harder than you weigh?

We’re a super active, competitive, Diamond clan looking for some new members to fill a progressive cull we are about to have! (See attached graph).

We’re looking for daily, dedicated players, who play well (or as many times as necessary to obtain above average clan vs clan scores).

Must also be happy to talk occasionally and join up our Discord group.

Completely agree. I have a separate graph that also shows how each player has performed against their normalised FP – mine and opponent. So in an ideally optimised clan strength distribution (egg line), a goal for each player is to perform better by score than the player immediately above them from the opposing team which means that they land further up the egg line / rank. Of course, super performance, jumping many ranks is the ideal. It becomes easy to find who are the standouts (through greater skill and/or repeat plays) vs the laggards who play through to tick the box without any focus on high performance.

To add something useful to the body of knowledge:

Clan balancing is the key. My clan, and many others follow the “score” line in terms of distribution of people by flock power. So think of the score line as Numbers of people by FP – which isn’t quite true because it doesn’t count individual performance but good enough for the illustrattion.

Compare this to the egg line – so the optimum clan will have a distribution of members  by FP which is similar to the egg line. In our case, the middle is too high (or another way, we don’t have enough super top) which means our Total FP is high due to high average FP, but them we get kicked by the opposition who has similar Total FP but it is made up by more super top players and a long tail of relatively lower.

We’re a super active, highly dedicated, Diamond League clan. We have fun; we communicate (in game and discord); our leaders are fair and fanatical; we diligently kick non-players; and have a great mix of long term and new members.

BUT we just got our ass kicked because we’re out of balance.

We’re looking for a 2-3 super hard hitting, dedicated, fanatical stars to round out our top end. Join us for a long time, or even just a good time – smashing some pigs and topping the pearl rewards.

Doh. I must be blind. Thank you. I didn’t notice that I could further promote them to leader. I thought the system did that. Many thanks.

No not planning to join any other clan. Stepping aside because my work commitments are impacting my ability to play so I don’t want to let my team down by missing any clan vs clan or being an absentee leader. I’ve got two great Co-leads, so just getting out the way so they can step up.

I might temporarily join in another clan just to see how they operate, but when I do have some extended time to play again I’ll try to join back with my clan, if there’s space.
