@kathy…I noticed your comment regarding an ad free purchase. Amazon does have some of the angry birds games to purchase – says “ad free.” My question: when I purchase one of those games from Amazon, is there a problem with scores, progress history, etc., when I want to replace a game already on my phone. I’m kinda assuming you have to do saving of certain files like the process outlined in the transfer games to a new phone.

Do you have any advice?

@kathy thank you for responding to my little issue. At one point my email was full of ABN notes because, somewhere along the line I had checked the little notify boxes not knowing I would get exactually what I asked for. I finally got rid of it (as you suggested) by accessing every page of this or other sites.

I’ve seen the star on bloated pig but not here. Anyhow, I think I have it cleared.

It does seem that there are a few other people that have seen the ads pop up. Since @kathy has seen notes from others mentioning this issue, I would see if she could follow up with you.

Why am I suddenly seeing big pop-up ads in Angry Birds Space and Angry Birds Star Wars every time I switch levels while playing the games. I can’t get out of them so it’s “sit and wait”. It may be in other Rovio games. I am somewhat new to the games and I have tried looking for what has caused it, but no luck. There must be a simple fix!

This is so infuriating I am temped QUIT the Rovio games. That, I do not really want to do. I will have to search around, but I can probably find a new
Game/s that are as enjoyable!!!

I have Space version 2.2.9 with ad problem; @kathy with 2.2.1 problem intermittent, and @karen68 having just moved to 2.2.9 and ads started. Interesting.

Here is another interesting: if I select to “play video” when it comes up it is exactly like the pop up ads I’m getting when changing levels. Can’t stop it, no X to get out – just wait it out. Humm? Wonder if that new feature – “play video” could be the watzit widget triggering the problem.

Karen: right now I have 2 phones – an iPhone 5s with Space and SW and a 6s plus with Space. Problem shows up on both. Also have new iPad with nothing on it yet. ( just haven’t completed back ups and transfers.)
