Because of you I was able to identify “PAIN” prior to playing him. maybe we should start a list of these crazy hackers so people can avoid. I realize now I encountered one last round. Advanced in the arena game to stone level. with 2 loses encountered a match that should be an easy win-my banner 2000 pts higher and all my birds higher level. Was not paying attention that competitive banner was matilda protector and they were playing matilda-every crash I have had involved a protector banner. CRASH did not impact my arena scores but it reset my holiday event completely.
-took medals reset 0 (2,000)
-moved me to new board-was leading on my board
-all stamina I had used to get 2000 pts gone
-did not use potions but expect they would be lost
-on reset stamina 0 and clock reset so have to wait to start competing
-all the gains from the christmas gifts gone and not new gifts so
reset is not a start over.

really need to look at those protection banners-good thing can avoid matches-my rule forward is to not compete against protection banners.

the crash is awful. you lose your medals, lose the boar you were playing on(reset to 0) you lose all the gains from the christmas gifts and when you restart you don’t even have any stamina so you have to wait for stamina to compete. hope they fix fast or long 6 days. if I even bother.

I know the arena frozen birds have been described in detail here. I have noticed it has happened a few times for me when the banner I am competing against has a bird protection-then that is the bird that freezes. can’t say every time but thought it may relate. I may not play birds related to protection in battle going forward.

Theory on arena player crash-anyone else notice that when your bird gets stuck and you have to leave the game-occurs after a banner attack where the banner has bird protection? only have a n=3 sample but I think something that protects the banner from the bird gets turned on and then you can not attack with bird again.and have to back out taking a lost.

Thx-@burbman-I was noticing my losses were to the competitors that had extra banner pieces. hopefully there will be more free pig machine rolls going forward so chances to improve the banners. I keep getting a notice that a friend has given me a free roll but can not locate where that is-not showing up. think the banners are suppose to be the key to surviving the loss coin toss.

@burbman-have you changed your banner top, flag or emblem to strategically address who you are competing against? I just got another flag so trying to figure if there is a strategy with the banner especially if you lose the toss? entered the event a day late so playing catch up.

have been farming SRC to level up different birds and have noticed the following which may be helpful.

-need dispel with at least one bird if not 2
-I check the gauge at the beginning board and when my combo has been left of center yellow it usually makes it through-center and towards the skull/red inconsistent
-you can win with a bird combo with same headgear and a change in weapon or offhand item can cause you to go from winning auto play consistently to losing auto play so if you were winning and suddenly start losing ck ur weapons-sometimes forgot to change back after GP
