@captrec @waimea Hi, yes, still not working. @nehuen you say it happened to you twice – did it then start working again? It used to work for me but hasn’t for a couple of days now. In the middle I upgraded to Windows 10 so I wonder if that had anything to do with it. No evidence either way

Thanks @amslimfordy I appreciate that. The (pedantic) point I was trying to make was that the numerator for all locked levels except the next one is a useless bit of information, as by the time one gets to these levels one’s points score will have increased. For eg the highest locked level currently shows 18/260. Unless they throw me a 242 point challenge (truly a Mission Impossible!) there is no real need for displaying the 18.

But this is distracting from trying to 3 star the recently unlocked levels!

And I’m going to stop calling them fractions as they aren’t

    Happy flinging!

Thanks @amslimfordy My (current!) confusion is that looking ahead to the locked levels they ALL seem to have 18 as the top half of the fraction. BUT – I do seem to recall that they all had 8 before I just completed a 10 point mission, so I suspect from this the episode updates to show my present score on all remaining levels. What’s the point of that?!?!?

When I used to program commercially, we called something as useless as this a feature not a bug…

I’m going to keep posting what might seem like the blindingly obvious to some, but on the offchance it may assist others who are similarly flummoxed by this!

Right, my next mission is available and it’s “beat my own score on level 4 of Pig Bang”, and I see a 10 above the mission statement so I’m assuming that’s the points value as mentioned by fellow Nesters (but which I hadn’t noticed before)

And I did it and my score went from “to unlock BH level 5 8/9” to “to unlock BH level 8 18/22” which may or may not make sense.

I think I have just graduated from the complete duffer class to the dizzy heights of the abject moron class. I’ll keep a chair warm for ya!!!!

Hi, we all seem to be on a learning curve here and by jiminy is it steep (for me at least). apologies in advance if this posting is a bit of a ramble, as I’m not sure exactly what I want to say, or ask…

I can’t unlock level 5, my “score” is 8/9 despite achieving every mission it’s thrown at me. I had thought that this 8/9 was a reference to the episode/level of #5, but reading above it’s suggested that this is a score????

I’m interested to see above that some missions apparently score more than others – is this just an assumption or is there some evidence? A bit frustrating if there’s no indication of the difficulty – or is there???

The first 3 missions I had (unfortunately I can’t remember the exact words) were all clickable, ie clicking on the mission statement took me to a level which could be flung to achieve it. But since then I have had to go search for a level/episode where I could do the deed. When first encountered I thought this “non-clickable” status was a bug, so I deleted the missions and received more 30 minutes later. Somehow the timers have got themselves out of sync, ie currently I have 1 6h28m away from the next mission while the other 2 are over 14 hours away.

I think the indicator number that appears in the exclamation mark circle refers to the number of missions available to be attempted – does this tally with what others think?

That’s possibly all I have to offer at the moment but I’ll be assiduously reading this forum thread as I’m in need of enlightenment!

Consider this. The average male height is, what, 5foot8? If you get a bunch of guys say 6foot8, they are just taller, not necessarily more talented. Yet nobody would consider erasing all basketball scores won by a team of the taller guys. Others could draft taller guys to their team. And a team of talented short guys might beat the tall guys. I bet the tall guys don’t feel tainted because they can just drop the ball into the net without jumping. OK the analogy isn’t perfect but why would you feel bad about having the wherewithal to score highly in SW2?

And for the record, I don’t like Last Chance and wish it wasn’t there.

@bird-addict @e-star thank you! I dedicate the nomination to my mother-in-law whose hat it is. Obviously I was stony cold sober at my niece’s wedding when the picture was taken…
