One more thing and this is embarrassing—–not sure I even know what my “User name” is. I’ve been playing these games for so long without having to enter any info. Is it listed somewhere? I mean I know here it’s Barbbjb, but I’m pretty sure I didn’t use that for the games.

Oh Kelani, thank you so much. I’m sure the tech will be able to follow these directions and all will be right with my world again. Needless to say I just didn’t want to say good bye to these wonderful games which would have happened if I don’t get them saved. Loved my time here, and hate to see it all end.

I need a PC-er’s help. Tomorrow I have to do an OS reinstall but luckiy I have a Dell Tech that will be doing this remotely. Since none of us will be able to get any more AB games or updates I really, really don’t want to lose my old games. I wrote yesterday asking how to back up my games and Slim very kindly replied to “ …. save your existing .exe installation files and backup/transfer your .lua files.”

The Dell tech was on my computer and tried to find these but was couldn’t so he asked me to please come back on the forum and ask for the path to these files especially the .exe. Could someone please tell me so I can tell him tomorrow.

I would be heartsick to lose all these games and would appreciate any help you could give me.

If it makes a difference I’m on a Dell laptop, Windows 7, IE.

@josm Thanks for your replies. The downloading really only pertains to the ones I already have so guess that’s it for me. It’s really sad. Guess I’ll just go back and replay them all from time to time.

@mixx—Sounds like Essi and Johan should get on the same page. A little conflict as to what’s going on. So if I’m to understand this correctly according to Johan we can buy the already existing PC games from either a retail outlet or Amazon.com but there won’t be any new ones?

One last thing if I happen to get a tablet or IPad and want to transfer all my games from my laptop to the tablet can I do that or is this where I’ll have to repurchase.

@mixx You know something else. I noticed in the answer they gave you there was no mention of MAC. Whenever we would hear anything it was as if they were joined at the hip—Mac/PC or PC/Mac. Now it’s just PC. Wonder why.

Thanks for the update, Mixx. That is so sad! Would love to send them an email just to express my displeasure, not that they care, but maybe just to get it off my chest. Guess it also wouldn’t do any good to get a petition going to them to change their minds.

In the meantime, any idea of other PC games?
