Based on UTC the game for me ends 3am on July 30 i can manage to win 2 TFs but the 2 last days i might buy the third i mean i will buy the remaining tokens ib gem.

If you buy a TF for tokens and it’s in the upgrade process, is it still available for use in the competition?

Or do none of you guys know because you only upgrade in connection w/ spending gems? :)

@franciscrawford Yes. The character is always available to use no matter what the one you have is doing.

@optimuspig Had a Boss Pig in Forest node. It was the only scoring target. Luckily I was using Starscream and got the 400 points. No other targets, iirc.

Had it in Cobalt Desert using Sunstorm. Survived. Score was 12. Wild shots must have collected a few blurple blocks.

Ended up 36 points behind the leader. 36! They hadn’t moved for about six hours so I came back just before the end and they still hadn’t moved so I spent 20 gems to recharge, did a super fast run and won. But still, lost 20 gems because of 36 points. Gah!

Hey guys I’ve got no idea how this happened but I got the P1 1000 tokens now don’t have a go at me but I only had 2600, I’ve never ever seen such a low scoring board in all this time.
P20 only had 45 lol really weird it was lol

well mate,you always had some other dudes with high scores as 150000000 or 1000000 (lol),so now it was the time you had the lowest ones !!!

So I got Sunstorm. Sucker for the colors; glad he’s at least ok to use.

Question: is 10% explosive force worth investing in? It just makes tnt explosions bigger, no? More scatter when he blows up a tower of blocks? I’m wondering if I’m better served saving tokens for another seeker.

should i say congrats back to you ??!!? i am ready for my second unlock,via tokens only,probably within the next 1,5 days !!then i ll unlock that bots offered accessory and with any other tokens i ll be granded the remaining days, i ll unlock my 3rd choice,with the help of my gems !!

@aledromo,if i were you,i would have bought the accessory..it is better to give 1200 tokens (which can be easily earned in less than 2 days…),instead of giving 900 gems,which will be earned in much more days !!! (depends to your strategy at the lab…)

Yes it was about time for me to have some luck, it’s back fired today as got a few nuts playing and they both got over 50k.
With the 1000 and a few runs today I got SunnyBoy and my tokens went right down to around 100 and worked things out that I had no chance to get another 1 and would have a job to get his add-ons boo hoo. Any had pop out and when I got back grandson said I got you a present, What you on about, have a look at your game, well blow me down I had his add-ons, I asked him how the hell you do that and the cheeky said enjoy and don’t ask silly questions. My tokens were at 0 and I think my gems had gone up a bit. All I can think of he gave me some of his gems as he got a shed full of the things, kids aaaarrrrrrhhhhhhh

i feel that unlocking Sunstorm has helped a lot.

It’s not so much that I destroy a larger fraction of what’s available as that, like in a regular node, there seem to be on average more targets.

The number of runs is high enough by now that I find the anecdotal evidence at least semi-persuasive.

@sukerman13 initially I had no interest and decided not to play. When they asked for feedback I started playing to ensure I was not making assumptions. I will unlock only one without gems and I will wait on the third, Skywarp, until the next competition. I have plenty of gems but spending them would be like spending US$40 outright on him, so I’ll wait for the repeat to try and earn him with tokens then. Afterall, not having Rodimus or Nemesis hasn’t killed me…

Has the pace in this event slowed down a bit? Early on it seemed that the speed of the TF was like playing a 45 at 78 rpm (I know, I’m giving my age away). Changing from transport to play mode seemed to take forever also.

Is it due to using a TF that is slightly upgraded (Level 4, if that is important)?

Picked up Sunstorm at the end of the daily round. He can now destroy the big green Pig City missiles in one shot instead of three.

@optimuspig,usualy that happens ONLY if you score high !!! if you had score near to 300-400 it wouldnt freeze…. ( my friend Murphy told me that . . . )

@pampeans,well i was very interested for this event,because almost the full 30 days of August,i ll not be easily able to connect to wifi,or even to my 3G connection,so i d like to unlock as many things as i can now and wait for another event to unlock everything else… do not know when the next event will appear,but i dont like to lose bots… ( i also do not have the 2 payable and will never buy them with money ) !!

I think i can have one more seeker. Maybe someone can clear this up for me. If you had to choose between Starscream and Skywarp which ABT would it be. Starscreamm seems to have more firepower then Skywarp. So what’s the best deal?

I added Sunglasses to Sunstorm for +10% Transform Power. Makes a significant improvement in the competition nodes.

my friend @zhianjo,my second bot tonight,will be Starscream !! it is the only bot with a gun like this one,so just out of curiosity,i ll pick him !!! my personal opinion…

@aledromo Transform Power decreases the amount of time it takes to transform from bot to vehicle or vehicle to bot. I think it also allows you to begin firing before fully transforming back into a bot.

@zhianjo @sukerman13 I’m not to impressed with Starscream. The last time I ran him in a regular node he was at level 7. Not too effective against towers of blocks or pigs. Probably good at stunning the WMTs, but I use Glassor and didn’t get a chance to shoot any.

I usually don’t think sunglasses for transform power are important — but that’s a good point. Slow transformations are awful on Sunstorm.

Any opinion on headphones vs. Shrapnel?
