Yep. Completed objectives and am currently in tenth place. First is just over thirteen thousand. Going to have to grind just to get two stars. At least it doesn’t look like ill be demoted.

It seems as though a bunch of others had the same idea. @larry, I don’t think you ‘missed’ a day as much as others have ‘reset’ a day. And likely to get worse. I think the worst of this problem is at level 41. Those at lesser levels are lucky.

With my games:

Level 41 Platinum – started off with 12 other people at 1k points and some appear to have now reset a day. Super hard to gain objectives. Lost half my battles and had to pay gold coins to reset loses. No other ABN players.

Level 36 Platinum – still the only member of the league.

Level 12 Silver – still the only member of the league.

@partshade ~ my current leaderboard has only 13 players now and just the 13th has the demoting 3 grey stars behind the name. If this indication is correct, and not another unfornutane bug, on leagues with 12 players or less no one is demoted. And approaching the end of the week I would expect the new leaderboards to be even less populated.
I have the feeling we joined too soon. Another day or two more and maybe we would be playing with very few opponents.

@larry, I wouldn’t call it a total bust. The only thing we learned is that we don’t seem to be able to join up leagues with others joining at the same time. Or that too many people joined at the same time as myself. The delayed start concept to avoid cheaters I think is still sound.

I still don’t believe that anyone in my league had an extra day of playing over anyone else. It is more likely that with the time zones over the past 2 hours someone else has had the chance to enter their next day of objectives after joining the day late board.

Since level 41 is sooooo saturated with players and cheaters I think that I may wait even more days next week before joining at that level. I’d be really curious to hear how others made out in leagues at under level 40.

@steven-dunn-5648 FYI, you are going to want to keep that level 36 game at level 36 as long as you can. My level 41 platinum league is half level 41 players and half level 37. One more level and you will be up with the big dogs.

One other interesting thing that I hadn’t thought about before….

Since I have 3 games I am often signing out and back in to switch between accounts. I have another experiment to try next week. This may be no more than a coincidence and I wouldn’t mention it without more testing but if someone hasn’t claimed their prize yet I would ask you to do this…

On both of my accounts where I am now the only member as well as my account last week where I was the only member in my league I started off the game in the same way. After claiming my reward and entering the league I played 1 round and checked the leader board. After seeing that I was the only member I then signed out of my account to join a different account. The account that has many opponents on it I did not sign out of but kept on playing to see if any other ABN people would join. This is when I then had the leader board fill up. This is the account where I was alone last week. Don’t know if it was a fluke but I would love to have some others experiment with that as well to see if there is some sort of pattern. That is to sign out of your account before your league is joined to another with players. See if that keeps you in a league of your own.

Fail for me, no other ABN players. 13 players so far – one of which is a definite cheater and several on 19000+ who would be suspect…

Well, I joined today instead of waiting a couple more days. I played one battle and am now 9 of 10 players in league, all are level 41. Doesn’t look like any cheaters though.

@steven-dunn-5648 on my leaderboard, 1 st and 2nd had amount of points (17245 and 11490) that could indicate to me that they actually have played 2 or 3 daily objectives, i will keep an eye on there scores tommorrow (later it is already tuesday here) to rule out that they maybe are cheaters, at the moment i think i’m put on a leaderboard which started yesterday. (still eleven players at 00:45).

I finished two daily objectives (1 from 23:00 pm to 0:00, and the second just now)
Currently second with 300 difference to 3rd, but i think that player still can do the tuesday objectives. So bit of battle grinding to do this week to end up in 2nd or 3 rd.

I want to give a big thanks to all those who were willing to join this experiment.

We knew that it had not been tried before and had no idea how it would turn out. I think it is safe to say that the idea of creating an ABN league is out of the question.

I am going to wait 3 or 4 days next week for level 41 and test other options to see if I get placed on a board of players who have been playing all week. I won’t ask any others to join me on that as you would run the risk of being demoted without having those rewards. I still believe from what I have heard from others that may work. It could be that 26 hours was not quite enough for a cut-off. (again, unknown territory)

@larry, tomorrow lets take stock of where players are on their leader boards and see if cheaters have been reduced ect. I would like to get as much info as possible from this experiment to make it useful. I think that the number of people willing to volunteer for the 1st experiment just shows how desperate everyone is to find a way to make this game playable as Rovio does not seem to have a way of flagging cheaters into an isolated league.

My story is much the same as the others here. I have no other ABN players on my leaderboard. My leaderboard only has 12 members and the top three have completed their second set of objectives.

The fact that we don’t have full leaderboards is interesting. They may have a different approach to filling leaderboards than we suspected. Perhaps they set up 10 leaderboards (or some other number) at a time and add one to each before adding the second to each and the third to each, etc. Or there may be a time zone factor.

I don’t appear to have cheaters (Silver league), but I didn’t have any last round (Stone league) either.

I think it is best to wait for more information before drawing final conclusions. There are still other players to report in.

@Partshade ~ I would like to be able to guarantee that to you but I cannot.
On some games I’ve played leaderboards are filled to the fullest before the beginning of new ones. That way the players that start late join other late ones. It seems that’s the case with AB Epic Arena but nobody here seems to know that’s for sure. So, if you don’t mind to take the risk I wish you good luck and please drop a note on what you found. Otherwise, don’t take too long to start and good luck the same.

@partshade I think you have several options.

You could wait until later in the day, and see if you get on a newer leaderboard than we seem to have joined. If our leaderboards are still open, you could find yourself placed onto the end of an existing leaderboard with players who have already completed objectives. I haven’t seen anyone added to my leaderboard over the last 2.5 h. I am happy to let you know if anyone is added and if my leaderboard fills up.

A second option would be to wait a further day. If they start new leaderboards for players who join after 48 h, then this might be an option for you. But it is also possible that you are just added to an existing unfilled leaderboard – in which case you will be a further objective behind.

The third option is to delay even longer and see what happens.

Bad news for non-cheaters. I think I may accidentally discovered a new cheat method which may have been introduced in this new version that allows anyone to complete all objectives in a single battle and to repeat this at will as many times as you want. I figure with this method, assuming 5.5k points and 5 min to set up and complete, a cheater could make over 66k points an hour. Yikes! How long till others start to catch wind of this? I wasn’t even trying to look for it. This one is so easy and so bad that I am not even going to hint at how to do it. You may even stumble on it by accident. Thanks a lot Rovio! Kind of the opposite of making things better with an update. :-(

@jorge-freeman-1 @kerravon Thanks! I think I’m going to wait until Wednesday to join and see what happens. This way I can see if I get on a board with new players who are just starting also but if it doesn’t work I should be able to complete enough objectives to keep from being demoted. I’ll update you guys about this on Wednesday.

I haven’t played any of my objectives yet though, but normally within 2 minutes of it closing people are already on my leaderboard. It appears I’m by myself. I hope it stays this way. ;)

I started my league about an hour ago and completed all objectives within the hour. Currently I am in 9th place with the first place “unnamed player” at 17000.Sounds like they have two days and grinding already under their belt? Maybe next time I’ll join as soon as possible to see whether or not I can keep up. No ABN players on my leaderboard. However , I don’t see any Million Point totals on my leader board. So, there’s one bright side.

Side Note: My coin toss ratio is horrid.

Joined at slotted time, played one battle then attended to my family time then came back at bedtime and finished 3 achievements. So far I’m in stone league but by myself, no one else.

@minigurlnikki,@dragonofheart73, so far you two are the only ones with single player leagues. Just let us know if that stays like that. If it does, can you tell us if there’s anything particular that you do with the game? (Signing in/out each time, forcing generated opponents, anything at all)

Oh, and the number 1 on my board just jumped ahead with another 5K in points to 23K. That means that he’s played his fourth set of objectives now. Could be legit, but I doubt it… The rest of the board looks reasonable with some who may be hard players or careful cheats. I’ll assume they play fair although that number 1 really looks a bit suspect.

It does make me wonder what would happen if we had waited another day or 2… I might try that next week. :)

I joined 24 hrs plus 12 minutes after the start. As I previously said my finish board showed me in first place because the 5 who were above me were suddenly erased. When I claimed my reward I was appropriately in 6 th place and so am back in the gold league. My board was full of people who looked as though they had played one or two objectives which is possible. I completed my objectives and received a second set. I have now completed 3 objectives which is exactly where I would be if I have played from the start of the week. I have no clue why this is so. Perhaps someone who understands what happens can figure it out.

So far the board looks legitimate. I am keeping everything crossed.

Sorry to hear no ABN leagues were not created. I have played one ABN player named: “I see cheaters ABN”.

I think we just have to wait to see how things work out.
