Since I started using Dead End, (screw the bonus squad) I am having a way more comfortable run. The only problem is that my Dead End is not promoted a bit and thus I get less bonus overall. But even on a Unicron node with WMTs, he rekts everything.

Dead End is my BOT of choice every time and like you said squad bonus can go out the window as he will clear anything in his way.

Well I’m already bored fed up yawn yawn and double yawn same event run time after time and you know what your ruff score will be. Shake it up Rovio for goodness sake.

I can give up on this event now, sparks acquired and just coins on the token exchange so no need to play and daily quests and spark run done so time to enjoy a break. Will just do missions to keep getting gems now

@paul13 I agree, Rovio wasn’t kidding when they said that “a powerful one at that” when asked about Dead End. He is the terminator of the game, nothing stays in his path for more than 2 seconds.

However about the events, I think that I will take bore over sleepless nights since this type of event is more comfortable to play than the normal style. The latter requires too much playtime for just 550 tokens while this format gives so much more in such a short time and I will support this format any day over the normal one. That one sucks energon straws.

I just got the answer to my question myself. I played the 150 difficulty but couldn’t get enough points to fully get everything. But since my Dead End boarded the Astrotrain, the next difficulty got unlocked.

So you just need to survive for the next difficulty to unlock, you don’t need to fill up the bar (however guys with higher promoted bots won’t have a problem).

I reached the 200 token level, so it is time to stop playing. (I have enough to get all the sparks)

For those of you still playing, 225 token level is at 10,000 points. I would guess the max 250 token level is around 12,000

In the past, Rovio has NERFed any TFs that were too effective.

The fact that Dead End remains so powerful months after his introduction in the game is probably because he’s still relatively rare and the only players who have him, either paid cash or snagged him when he popped up unexpectedly in the Token Exchange one time.

My expectation is that once Dead End is officially offered to everyone in a Competition he’ll likewise get NERFed.

But at this stage either there aren’t enough of him around for Rovio to care, or else Rovio wants players who have Dead End to wax poetic about how just darned powerful he is to build up demand for the next time that Dead End is offered for cash money.

@datguygamer I will hope Dead End to arrive for Tokens at the end of this event. Still no convert tokens to Sparks with hope :). Last two days didn’t reach the full bar till play on sparks run, but because I have 180% bonus from the Squad, I get a lot more points and finaly get more then enough for full Sparks promotion for the day. Till now I every time get the end of the run without any dead bird, and actually always play with Grimlock. We will see how will be in next day, when it will become more difficult. As you are able to use 3 birds, I am expecting after 10 runs to be difficult to reach enough points for full sparks bonus with only two birds promoted with sparks as I am at this moment. When I promote both my birds to 105%, probably will collect sparks till Dead End arrive and will save them for him. I don’t think other birds need spark promotion at this moment.

This event after sharks is as boring as 10, same run after run in the valley yawn yawn and double yawn lol. I only need 300 tokens to get the Gems today and that is me done lol

@optimuspig I certainly do hope that isn’t the case. Dead End is obviously how every bot at L15 should be in terms of strength (I wish I didn’t waste the sparks for other bots) and I swear, if they nerf Dead End, my Atom Bombs will be ready for target towards Rovio HQ.

@joel687 I think you should keep playing just in case something shows up in the Token Exchange. If your batteries recharge, there’s no reason not to play. At least you won’t have to use gems to recharge and that would be a bonus.

@paul13 Oh, you meant the singular node system. My mistake, I thought you meant the secondary event system in general as boring. Yes, that is boring.

There was an update from 1.25.4.5 to 1.25.6.5

This update boosts Jazz fir the comp. I’m on iOS and have not gotten this update. Checked the App Store and the last update was Feb 28 to the 1.25.4.5

Those of you on iOS, have you gotten .25.6.5?

@geli I am on iOS iPad mini and there is no hard update at AppStore. Current version of the game is 1.25.4.5.

@joel687 confirmed for today points – 250 tokens are at 12000 points level.

If Rovio are saying the 1.25.6.5 update gives Jazz extra firepower then I’m sorry to say that is not correct in fact he is worst now that before the update as it now takes 4 of his shots to kill the sharks when before it needed only 2.

My Android is 1.25.6.5 (by way of soft update sometime recently), I haven’t done a run with Jazz so cannot comment if any changes.

I just did an event run with Smokescreen and noticed that my name on leaderboard had EGrimlock next to it. Previously the icon was for the TF that the last run was done with?????

@datguygamer – The most tokens I could earn now are around 2,000. Nothing I could do with that if a bot popped up in the token exchange.

I think I am over the “Deadend might show up at the last second so I better ewrn everything and avoid buying anything” paranoia.

I have moved on the the “I better buy what I want as soon as I can since Rovio just might screw up the event right at the end” paranoia

Buy now before the game crashes isn’t paranoia, that’s being realistic! The second I have enough tokens I spend them. Don’t see the point playing on for coins, I have 15 million of them just sitting at the top of screen looking like a forgotten Christmas decoration

Yeah, you’ve just got to figure which is the bigger risk.

Technically Dead End showing up in the Exchange was also a Rovio screwup, but the screwups that actually benefit players are far more rare than the ones that screw them over.
