Ahhh, like I found out last week when I installed AB2 on my wifes phone and saw that she had the same level/points in the arena etc. ? And directly grabbed my phone and Mini Pad…..
But is that what everyone is so upset about?

Soooo, there’s a Crash Buttstomp in my Diamond league, they’ve got 85 golds, 8 silvers and one bronze. So that’s 94 weeks of finishing in the top 3 in the league, mostly 1st. Has the game even been out that long?

That’s a definite no then. Take a screen shot of their medals and send it to Rovio or not bother? They are only 5th at the moment, I’m expecting a big points surge on Saturday.

@penz about 6 months ago when the arena started taking between 30mins to an hour to get access to after the end of week tournament, if you continued to “try” and get in during that downtime, it added ‘wins’ to your overall total. You never actually got the 300 gems non stop, but every time you tried to gain access it marked another (bronze, silver gold assuming that is where you were finishing that week) to your overall total.

They patched that small glitch about 3-4 months ago, so it doesn’t happen now if the tournament takes forever to get in, it just simply boots you back to the map screen. I think I gained about 30 wins one week, even though I obviously only won it once that week. Now I can’t say that is what happened here, but it certainly sounds like it to me.

Just had a lvl 43 “Blast Hamingway” with 19 golds and a silver to its name shoot up to 1496 stars in the arena from 0 over a 1 hour period without gaining a level and with all lvl 16 birds + diamond sling.
clearly Rovio hasnt bothered this guy for 20 weeks.

Am I a cheater that downloaded a game with “unlimited” gems? Or just a guy tired getting screwed by game maker and (other) cheaters?

When a new level for the birds is out – you will soon get opponents with a flock of that level. Very strange.

I wanted to share a screenshot of a Hacker in my Tourney Group 3 weeks ago. He appeared in my Group of 15 contestants mid-week, already ahead of my #1 position and was quickly out of reach … so no catching up. I have started an album and his Game Profile screenshot is there, but I don’t know to move it here to this thread. Can anyone help me?

KT, to post the image here, click on the img button just above the comment box and put the url of the image in the box that pops up. On a PC you can get the url by clicking the right mouse button on the image and select Properties. If on a Mac, I think it is holding down the option button and clicking on the image. I don’t know about other devices.

Remember what Mr. Hank said about scores not being posted until the person leaves the nest and goes back to the maps. A person could spend days in the arena scoring points and you wouldn’t see it until they leave the nest. Then BOOM, suddenly you see that they have lots of points out of nowhere. At least that is how it seems to everybody else.

…and a person would need to keep the game and device active for days which takes more work than it is worth. Keeping a device open and on the nest for any longer than a few hours is crazy, but keeping it open and active for days is nearly impossible unless that person is not sleeping.

After a few hours if you have closed on the arena, if you load it up again it will default load the game, which means back to the map screen. So anything outside a few hours to max half a day would be impossible again unless you are not sleeping at all for multiple days in a row.

Okay, in my album under the screenshot are 4 choices:
1. Embed (thumb) this has a thumb tack symbol beside it
2. Embed (med) this has a thumb tack symbol beside it
3. Text link has an hour glass symbol beside it
4. Direct link which has a square and an arrow in it pointing north east

When I copy pasted the Direct link, it came over with a line of words and forward slashes that looked like clicking on it would direct link to my album here.

When I copy pasted Embed, I got 4 lines of words with forward slashes on this page.

Clearly I don’t understand the next step. Am I supposed to post this page with the 4 lines of copy pasted words and forward slashes? Or what?

@ktcain copy the entire link for “embed med” then simply post that entire link in your post and then press submit at the bottom of the post.

When I do that should the actual screen shot appear? I tried cutting and pasting ’embed’ and what appeared here was the 4 line link, but not the screenshot, so I edited because that is not what I am trying to learn or post. I am trying to learn how to post a screenshot on the pages of the Forum. But @chucky-2, thank your trying to help. Maybe I am still not doing the correct thing. Should it really be so hard?

@ktcain The screenshot will not appear until you press the submit button and post your post.

So all you will see is the multiple line link until you post the post with that link in it, when it will then show the image.

That is why in my post above I told you to press “submit” and post your post with the entire 4 line link.

Looking at the album attached to your account I assume you believe ‘Buck Birdson’ is a hacker, but with a low low 500 points, I am not sure why you think that to be the case. You should try in my diamond league where 2000 to 3500 points is the norm for my league and I have been beating them (other than the last 2 weeks which has been around 1000 points).

To put that in perspective, in roughly a 4 to 4 and a half hour straight stretch, I could easily get the 500 points Buck Birdson got.

I did post the copy paste and what was posted was the same 4 lines of words and forward slashes that appeared before I posted it. No picture appeared in the Forum area, so I edited, deleted the link and asked more questions instead. That Tourney was 3 weeks ago I cannot imagine how that player has a Diamond Slingshot within that time frame without Hacking. It takes time to get the Pirate Hats and he simply did not have enough time to do it. That score you see was day 2. It soared from there. You must be a power player if you are getting Star Counts of 2000 or more. I salute you. Gladiator! The friends I play with are Gladiators, too. Well done!

Many of us have had the pirate hats for quite awhile (I can think of almost half a dozen alone on these forums), let’s just say poor coding on Rovio’s part allowed for an easy exploit when using multiple devices that worked in the players favor.

However I think that poor coding/exploit has since been fixed, but as I have had the diamond slingshot for about a month now, I honestly couldn’t tell you if that is the case or not.

Doesn’t work that way on an iPhone, Chucky. If I don’t exit the nest, it opens up in the nest when I open up the app. It is like staying on the maps and not starting the daily challenge. I can open the app and get the small chest over and over and never start the DC until I look at the nest and come back to the maps. Same with the arena, I could stay there and not have my score upload. The app never closes or shuts down.

Fair enough you can do it on your iPhone (yet not on my iPad or android phone) however that is kind of irrelevant to the overall point.

It makes no literal sense to stay in the arena for more than a few hours at a time. Sure you could get a high arena score to sync in one go if you didn’t leave the arena for days.

However you could not play the normal levels (if additional levels are released or you haven’t finished the levels yet), or get additional chests every few hours, or gain tickets (if you know another exploit) etc, the list kind of goes on. All for the benefit of a few hundred to a thousand lousy arena points that get synced at one time….Makes no sense to me.
