About the Angry Birds 2 Arena

I’m in a Diamond league. Here’s a screenshot of one of the players in my particular league… says they’re in a Vanilla league. I checked the other players and it looks like many of them are from lower tiers. Was it like this all the time and I just missed it? I thought all the players in my league would be Diamond as well.

Oh yeah lol i’m the diamond league and i’ve players from all leagues like vanilla,bronze,gold but none from diamond league and they all have 0 medals…all the people with level 6-10 teleported to the diamond league.

3/4 of my arena are also from Vanilla league and have never had a win in the arena….yet I am also in diamond league. It has been like that for months now and makes no sense as it used to be only diamond league players in diamond league.

Since the update I can’t see anybody’s list of medals. I can see flock power and league. The arena has been like that for me as well. I usually have one player that plays a little and the rest barely play if they play at all.

I’m in diamond league too, but my comments are about the number of times when at level 6 or 7 the game freezes when I want to either get an extra bird or buy three extra birds to win the level.

it happens so frequently it can’t be a coincidence, and it never happens on levels 1 through 5 .

Level 7 also invariably throws up a fully armed opponent to compete against . This cannot be random , the stats don’t support it which means that Rovio’s gameplay contains programmed cheats , I’d be interested to see what other players think about Rovio and cheating!

I rely on skill to progress and don’t throw money away buying credits so perhaps Rovio don’t like me ! Well Sod ’em !!

playing with people all with lvl 10 birds in diamond league it needs skill to win here after hard work i’m the first with 30 points second one has 25.

So, something very weird and unfair is happening to my husband in the arena. An opponent named Turkey Schnitzel is a carbon copy of my husband’s profile. Same star level, same flock power, and every bird is the exact same level as his. It also has the exact same score as him in Diamond League. In fact, the score will already be there ready to be mirrored when he comes out of each and every tournament match. When he loses a match, Turkey Schnitzel’s score does not change. So, for example, if he and TS both have a score of 50, and he wins a match and earns 7 stars, TS’s score will already be at 57 when he comes out of the match and his score will rack up to 57, matching TS’s score. This is clearly not a real opponent. I have never seen this before, and am flabbergasted that the game is actively trying to screw him!

OK, I hate to ask this… But it makes no sense.

I’ve reduced my level of play to DC and Clans. Arena maybe 3-4 matches a day. So I’m in the Azure league from Diamond (sigh :)) and many of the people in my league are in Diamond, including the three that are up for promotion.

If you’re already in Diamond league, (a) how are you playing in Azure and (b) how are you being promoted to Emerald or what not? YOU’RE ALREADY IN DIAMOND :)

I am in Vanilla league but used to be in The Diamond league a long time ago but play only 3-4 rounds like you and a lot of the people in my league are in the diamond league too.

lol in diamond league i’m the first with 50 points because all other players are from vanilla or other leagues with bird power level 5-10…great challenge.

I just checked the 14 other people in my league, which is Diamond.

Only one person isn’t diamond and he is amethyst and is the only player not well over 100 stars.  Most are over 200 or 300.  Everyone is moderately playing except for him it seems.  Looks like he’s only won 3-4 matches.

Took me weeks to get back up to Diamond after taking time off, and not once have I been an a league with few or no active players.  It’s a fight just to keep from getting dropped down one level as I’m almost out of my reserve of entry tickets.  Had to use most of them to work back to Diamond.  Right now just trying to restock tickets by only play free entries.

I wonder if some of what others are seeing could be inaccurate information being displayed.  Wouldn’t be the first time that has happened such as with the “mystery points brigade.”

I have noticed the past 2 tournaments (Diamond League) that we had 1 or 2 players which were Amethyst League. It really doesn’t matter what level or league the others are but how well YOU score and equally as important, how OFTEN you score.  Last week was the first time I didn’t get 1st or 2nd in any tournament I was in because I simply decided not to pursue it as much as required to gain rewards plus the fact that I got a late start and the two leaders were already at 500 plus stars before I began.

As far as this so-called ‘Mystery Points Brigade’, don’t count out the fact that many AB2 players are either too addicted, disabled and rarely leave home, are searching for the temporary satisfaction by accomplishing a ‘win’ or a combination thereof.  I have personally scored more than 1,000 stars in tournaments when I was determined to level up my birds plus the fact I was recovering from a shoulder injury and at home most of the day. Yes I had to purchase many Arena tickets but you can bet I never missed any of the free ones either. Speaking of that, twice today when I clicked to watch a video for a free ticket, it shut down my game. I thought that issue was fixed a few days ago.

Has anybody else noticed that the common chest are not giving hardly any gems for the last couple of days? I think I’ve see the gems pop up maybe three times in two days.

@davetv Yes, seems there’s no gems in common and rare chests anymore and friend gifts have also been spells last few days.

I did a little experiment today. You cannot get gems from any of the chest. I tried 50 rare chests, 50 legendary chests and ran several streaks to get the rare chest in the streaks. There were never any gems that came up in the cards. I finally saw a few common chests where the cards had 10 gems but of course I never was able to get the free gems. I just wonder if they do this on purpose or if it’s just a “glitch”?

Got some activity in the arena :P a player got 300 points now after some weeks i play to win first place.

I wish I could figure out where all these low activity leagues are, because I’m constantly stuck in ones where I barely manage to hang on to 10-12th place.

And I am sick and tired of being matched up against people who bought 1-3 continues which means I am suddenly outscored, after I toss my last bird, by sometimes 20 million points.

And now that Rovio is screwing us over with no more free gems except in the tower, I cannot afford to buy a continue to win most matches.

yes AggieGuy earlier i was always in active leagues now for months i’m in diamond leagues full of people coming from vanilla leagues and other leagues their levels are the same between 10-30 only and rarely 2 or 3 normal level and active players get there.

Jesus, I cannot get free bird from the tv icon during arena play match and free ticket ad. When I turn off my phone screen and activate it again Angry Birds 2 app restart so I lost my whole streak. But the Tv icon starts working. Are You kidiing me Rovio? Burn in hell.

Another Rovio low… Just bought hats so I went from flock strength 341 to 348 and sling upgrade.

My next 3 arena opponents had flock strength of 30 more, 50 more, and 39 more than me.

I won all 3 matches but this really doesn’t pass the smell test.
