This situation hapened to me one time with other app.
I am assuming you use iOS, right?
Just go to Setting->General. There is an option at the end, Reset.
Inside Reset there are other options; choose “Reset Network Adjusts” (or something like that; my device is in Portuguese).
After that you need to re-connect to your wifi.
Good luck; for me worked.

@Angryde — Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. How old is your iPad, and what operating system are you running? I installed the update yesterday, and I don’t think it’s causing any problems, but then I only played the daily challenge, and was disappointed to see that they did not set the number of coins back to 10!
Anyway — Have you tried the following:
1) Hard close ALL apps you have running in the background (start by double-clicking the round button); what you do depends on the operating system.
2) Do a hard shutdown and restart of your machine. To do a hard shutdown, hold both the round button and the power button down until your iPad turns off.

@angryde. Above @mvnla2 it’s talking about Multitasking : do multitasking every single day..’ I f you are on IOS Sistem : then do Restart when Necesary !! Then do very often on iCloud : Backup . Backup will help to recover your data on case you lost everything!!! But I fell yourself so quiet . Hope your are fine..!!

Just got past Sub Zero Track #2 Time Bomb #26 “Jump 400M”. Took a few tries to figure out that I needed to use King Pig’s special power to jump right after the horizontal ice block just before the big long skinny jump and then use his power a second time just before he lands to extend the jump. Got 439M. So if any of you have a “Next Special Power Use Free” in your pocket, you may want to save it for that challenge. Of course, challenge #27 is then to jump 500M. OY!!! Back to the drawing board for that one… :)

Also, I completely agree with all of you who have posted about the AWESOMENESS and ENTHUSIASM of our Fearless Leader @nacho18 !!!! Each of his posts makes me smile and I realize that there is someone else (and a whole bunch of other someone elses, too) who loves this game as much as I do. Probably more :) Three cheers for @nacho18 for creating, moderating, and promoting this thread and for leading this GREAT RACING TEAM! 720 is just on the horizon for you my friend :)

Good morning people! Thank you so much for all your kind words and for all your helpful suggestions!

Yes, I’ve combed through all of the ABN threads + every other shred of information I could find on the interwebz in my efforts to discover a solution. Unfortunately, all of the obvious stuff didn’t work… however, this morning, the App is connecting to the interwebz and allowing me to play but only when I enable Wifi/connectivity after the App has already fully launched/booted.

Let’s see if this partial functionality holds over the course of the day, yeah!? My sense is (that) – during the update – the App’s live and always-on link to Rovio became corrupted… and the App is continually attempting to refresh a session that no longer exists and/or is running as an incompatible version. I was hoping that the Rovio servers/bots would blank their cache once every 24 hours or so… thus resetting the feed and breaking the infinite loop described above… Alternatively, the bug could be at the FB end. Uurrgghh.

Still no word from Rovio… which is a little disappointing.

FYI @nacho18 I did as you asked… before you asked… and mentioned this forum and (y)our epic thread to Rovio. However, I assumed that because we (all) focus on the challenge of ‘maximum progress with minimum spend’ Rovio would be very C.F.O.Z. (care factor of ZERO) =)

@angryde — Very interesting. Reminds me that several times when I was playing AB Go, I got a message screen that said something like “conflicting sessions found, which session do you want to continue with?” and gave me a choice of 2 sessions with nearly identical times, so I would pick one at random. Almost always resulted in losing a challenge just completed and some coins/gems!

@mvnla2 – that also happened to me. Usually if I was switching between playing on my iPad and my iPod. If you look closely, it gives you the choice of using the progress on your device, or the progress on the cloud. You should always choose the option for the cloud (the choice on the right). That way whatever device you are trying to play on will sync with your latest progress and you won’t lose anything. A lesson I learned the hard way… :)

And the happens you and @mvnla2 describe over Sync. Yesterday wasn’t my choice I lose about 100 gems and maybe more Coins!! I regret to ROVIO my insane and frustrated experience wrote a message , but I am not optimistic: isn’t good part if the Siistem. Or it’s a bug!
Even my new iPad Air was Crashing a lot yesterday : I did some Robooting and restart . Cleaning bias Multitasking . Was a little better but . I feel upset : I can’t Go! Faster over my main Goal The 720 . I thing will take a while with this Frustating situation .

Here is the TIPS that I promise to write in my free time! FIRST 1 coming up!

1. SCORING METHODS DO & NEVER
– NEVER NEVER TRY TO OUTSCORE YOUR LAST SCORE unless is “beat your own score” challenge.
Try as much as possible to bang into the wall, try not to be 1st in race, splat no fruits and let time expired to keep score down!

– Drifting, Flying & Destroying Kart gives you bonus points! Do it unless is necessary!

– 1st place default point is 80,000. If your kart is fast, there is HIDDEN time bonus. Hence, sometime you will see your score at 80,000+x,xxx. The only time I get 10,000+ bonus is that I use CHUCK’s special power 4 times, just to clear the almost impossible “score over 125,000” at the first few challenge!!!

– CORPORAL PIG has a very good SPEED BONUS with his special power! Do not try to utilize all 3 of his power at once. Use it one by one! It help you to clear the obstacle without slowing your kart considerably! It also help you to knock other kart out of their pace!

2. AIR CHALLENGES

– HAL is the MASTER here. It is extremely difficult to drift in AIR! The narrow path and the air resistance (assuming is on a very high attitude). When you notice that you start to drift, unless HAL’s power and many fruits can be clear at once. You must identify where MOST fruits are! If not is a waste of the special power!

– NEVER NEVER FULLY upgrade the kart here! High HANDLING make the kart drifting almost impossible. Acceleration is a must, follow by strength then speed. I apply this to normal driving a car, if you engaged in FIRST gear, you can accelerate very fast, and if you locked your steering wheel to 1 side. It will drag and drift!) ANYONE to dispute this let me know!

3. PASSING THROUGH GATES
– you can get gate count bonus , if you drift through obstacles of similar MADE, SIZE and SHAPE. Not necessary to go through the 3 legged obstacles.

4. COMPLETELY DESTROYING OTHER KARTS
– land on top of them!!!
* sometimes you did land on them but no score count! Reason: the STRENGTH of your kart is not enough! I use lightweight kart, landed on some of them and no count given!!!

5. COMPLETELY MISS 1st xx OBSTACLES (trick rather then tip. maybe you will say is a bug)
– do you know that if you respawn and go through the obstacles. It is no count, but also means that your counter is not reset and you are able to continue missing the 1st xx obstacles!

My new updated progress is 1030=206+215+230+215+164
I have 4 TICs, 1 requiring 5 karts and 37 of “use all power-ups in 3 races in a row” challenges which alone account for 4,440 gems!
The annoying thing is that if you pass 1 of these, you will re-encounter it after about 10 challenges. I’m starting to get bored as it seems like a dog who is following its tail. I really hope that Rovio will change their policy with power-ups at least reducing the amount of gems required to buy them.

thanks, very nice topic. I’m not really sure about best upgrading method for drifting on air levels. I had the impression that it’s the high speed which prevents the drifting because of the narrow space on the track. In fact, due to the high speed, the kart is closer to the side of the road quicker than with low speed and this reduces the amount of time which would allow you to start the drift. Also, high speed makes you fly longer and some time you will lose enough ground where to drift because of this.

The “passing through gates” can be accomplished when passing “T” shape obstacles because when passing below the horizontal bar of the T obstacles gives to the system the impression that you were below a gate. For the same reason, you can sometimes trigger a count when passing very close to a 2 blocks obstacles (one over the other) with the upper block being slightly on the side and giving a small little gate-like feel.

I achieved my goal for the week…..I’m up to 1,151 challenges completed

I have only 2 challenges available to me across all tracks … 24 “use all power ups – 3races”and 18 “use king sling 7 times in a row”. I estimate cost of about 3,870 gems to remove all of these.

I’ve got a decision to make on the game. I’m reaching a point where it’s either a choice of Grind and grind and grind some more or fork over some more $$$ to keep my progress going. Hopefully a new update comes and opens up the game. I look forward to Android getting the latest AB Star Wars 2 update soon and will find myself parking the kart for a bit to conquer the 40+ levels they added into that app.

Fingers crossed the weekly tourney prize this week is 3,870 gems….lol
