Angry Birds Challenge
Welcome to the updated Angry Birds Challenge! Every day there will be a RANDOM level selected for you to play. Play for fun or use it as an excuse to improve your current score. A great goal is to try and beat the "Average" score below. Already done that? Then pork up and try to fling your way into the "Top 50"! Done that too?! Then take on the ultimate task and shoot for the "Highscore"! There is also a layer of competition here, as this page is connected to the leaderboard, so if you can improve your score you may also improve your rank. That said, don't enter lower scores here.

Improved
- Can you improve your current score and get into the Top 50?
Went to play the challenge tonite and all my OAB levels are at zero. Anyone else have this problem?
@admins I have been having problems entering my scores. It started last night for the challenge. When I enter a score and click submit I get a message {“Msg” “You have to enter a score”}. The same thing happens on my Android tablet, a Windows 7 computer and a Windows 10 computer. I also can not go anywhere by clicking on the Community heading to get to the challenge. When I go to my leaderboards to enter my score it will not change color to allow a new score. When I try the walkthrough page to change my score I get the same message as above. Have I been blocked? Thanks for your help.
@hoy49 I am having the same problems, both on my Mac and my iPad.
Go to the forum “All Things in the Nest”, then “Bugs in the Nest” where others are reporting the same issues.

How are all of you getting to play this level with the Seasons crashing issue?
@smithda44 – hi – so far I’ve not experienced any crash on this level. I’m also playing on iPad. Maybe it’s a version problem?
Mine started crashing with the 6.4.0 upgrade last week. Several reported the same issue in the Forums section.
Pls give mi these games.
@peejaydee27 – I see you are still able to open and play Season’s. Did you update the latest Piggywood Studio 2 and are you able to play it? If so, what version of iOS are you running on your iPad? Most of us have reported that after we updated, the whole Season’s app won’t open at all to play any levels. It comes up for a split second then closes…supposedly Rovio “is working on it”.
@lesleyg @smithda44 @welshwitch55. I’m using iOS 9.3.5. I keep being prompted to update to iOS 10, but reviews are mixed so I’ve held back. I was automatically updated to the latest Piggywood Studio 2 a few days ago by the iTunes Store. I hadn’t played any of the new games yet, only today’s Easter Egg challenge, but after seeing all your comments, I’ve checked out the update. It’s useless actually. The Studio 2 is listed on the main menu as a separate “New” game, but when I open it it’s just a copy of Studio 1, even with all my original scores. I’ve not experienced the crash at all, but something is obviously wrong. I see Rovio have already said they are working in a fix.
Wow! That’s crazy! Thanks for posting this info…we shall wait and see ;-/ fyi…I am still holding on to iOS 8.2 because by doing so, I am still able to manually back up my progress via iExplorer…it’s my understanding that anything later than 8.2 will not allow it anymore. Although I’m not even sure why I bother because I lost all of my scores from the older levels ( half of 2012 and older)via the cloud download crap…they show completed and three starred and feathered but when I open them after being forced to download from the cloud, they are all 0’s…I know this is true for many, many others and I doubt this part of the problem will ever get corrected but who knows anymore…anyway, thanks for your response :D
I haven’t been able to get into Seasons since they did the Piggywood 2 update this past week. Crashes on my iPad immediately upon opening.
Same as @welshwitch55, so I updated to IOS 10.0.2, well that didn’t work at all. I reported this issue last week to Rovio and sent them a crash log. They are still working on it. To be continued I’m afraid.
I am new to Angry Birds Space. I have a problem/question. The challenge at this minute (about 15 min left) is Angry Birds Space brass hogs 9-4 for which I have a score of 99,160 which woul put in the 10 list at number 9. Can u tell me why I am not there?

I hurried to put in the above comment (my first ever here) in order to have something entered before time expired on the challenge. I don’t really know the process so I hope it gets where it is supposed to be. I have an inkling it might have something to do with the “f” following my score posting. After I clicked posted, i had the notice on subscribe to post and managing subscriptions with a following request for my email. Wondering, I checked my profile – humm? No place asked for my email ! I will see what comes from these notes – probably your directions on how to find/solve things. I have noticed there are many places a person could look to find answers to things. I also have some other puzzles but I will ask those elsewhere.
Enough with my rambling – All I want to know is why my score didn’t appear in the ten list.

for a week or so the daily challenge seems to be missing from the first page. after some searching i found it on the news page instead. this is inconvenient. apart from that, the first page is in my opinion now rather unattractive as it is mainly filled with a rather uninformative stream of messages of the angry birds friends tournament (main difference between them the number and date). how about reserving just one item for the latter, leaving more space for things of other type, like the daily challenge or other announcements/update announcements of lesser frequency?
@vuelva @admins removed that forum, i think it’s a big mistake, and I’ve noticed in the past and mentioned it, the ‘updates’ section has not been updated for alooong time. That was a very convenient page to see what was coming or what had been updated and when for reference purposes when backing up or restoring.
I agree with all you said above so i will just add ‘ditto’

Oh @vuelva I’m sorry ,i misunderstood, still agree with what you say above, but want to add that removing the forum for requesting challenges is not a good idea. I think the challenge will lose participants and that just seems like more work now for @Sweetp who will now have to choose the challenges?

@vuelva I always find the daily challenge by going “Community” followed by “Challenge” on the gold bar.
Alternately, it just appears in the blue bit above the gold bar as a click on link. I’m normally logged on, uncaged, perhaps you are not

@sweetp @birdleader I am disappointed that the link to “let us know what challenges you want to see” has gone. I don’t suggest one that often, but when I find one, I certainly post. Obviously can’t see how often the link is used (the target has gone)
And how do flingers now suggests a level (hard, easy, fun)?
@kathy , @hunnybunny thank you for the replies. the point of my message was the visibility of the challenge; i can find it alright. i never suggested any level, but if the suggestion page was removed, then i hope it will be reinstated, as i do like to play the challenge from time to time, e.g. today.
btw despite that both of you mentioned me, neither of these mentions resulted in an e-mail notification being sent to me, so i only see your comments now when playing the challenge and checking for reactions to my comment (i did get other notifications in the mean time, top-score being beaten and from kathy from a level-comment, so maybe the earlier mentioned bug that notifications didn’t work properly for general comments sections, still persists @admins ?)
@Sweetp @Birdleader what is the status of the ‘suggest a challenge level ‘ ? is it completely out of the question to reinstate it?
A question for @admins regarding dates on the comments. I’m kinda new to angry birds. I was looking through the walkthrough for the challenge on my date/time Sunday, may 21, at 1:10 PM PACIFIC USA. On the walkthrough I see players in 2013. On the challenge comment section – no dates. It helps if I know how old or new comments are. Hopefully this is a temporary glitch.
Oh sure!!!! Now the dates show up. Must be the “SIGNED IN” thing. I actually never sign off but sometimes it shows a little head instead of PATZ and I have to sign in again – which I just did about 45 min ago. So I guess it will come out in the wash.

This is an interesting thing. I don’t know How important this is – probably come out in the wash: A strange gremlin put my score 94,410 that I had entered on the walk through page for today’s challenge SUMMER PIGNIC LEVEL 1-2 onto the leaderboard column “your score” in the position for comex666

It always makes me wonder how much software upgrades can change a game. The last two days are a good example of how the highest challenge scores cannot crack the Top 50.
Ageeed @smithda44. I commented about this on the walkthrough pages of the last 2 challenges. High Dive 6 seemed to be the removal of a glitch, and PigDays 6-4 just changed by Rovio during an update I think. “Go figure” as they say!

Ab2, Kpp today 11.22.17 has glitch. Level 3 Room 3,King pig gets stuck in flower directly beneath where he starts out. Flower only spits him a smidgen out, then gobbles him back. In and out endlessly ! Actually this is same glitch as on level 453. Same flower.
Sitting a top of leaderboard, that long ago can’t remember if there was anything different to the strategy on video. Can only manage 196k so far. One tip it seems pointless waiting for the middle remaining balls to collide.have waited 6 minutes so far
Hmmm… I can get close to the top of the “Improved” list and I was actually most improved the other day but, wow, getting a high score is seriously difficult. I’m impressed by all those who have earned that Underdog badge. Nice flinging!
