Angry Birds Star Wars 2 Naboo Invasion Level P1-18 Walkthrough

One non-character swap strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars II Naboo Invasion level P1-18 is to fire Jango Fett towards the first large magnet on the top left. As he approaches the top left edge fire his rocket into the metal boulder. He should ricochet into the magnet, causing a cascade of destruction. Mop things up if need be. The score in the video below is 46,000.

One piggy – guide Jango Fett just above the top-left large magnet (away from its magnetic pull) and fire into the small middle-left magnet to push into the bottom middle bird.

Hit top left ball, 1 bird. Patience. Forget the magnets.

Yes this is good. Also want to suggest shoot the middle of the bottom chain just before impact.

So my iPhone is the only one that sends Jango in the exact OPPOSITE direction as the video? Does not matter where I fire, 360 degrees attempted, my bird rocichets NORTH not anywhere else. What are my options now I wonder?

Jango Fett obeys proper physics. In zero-gravity space, so long as the angle that you fire the rocket it above “horizontal” (with respect to Jango’s line), he should deflect downward.

I got some pretty reliable, decent one bird-three star scores by sending JF almost straight ahead, right between the two big magnets…as soon as he is in between them, and before the pull of the top magnet takes him…fire his laser at the cement ball straight ahead and attached to the bottom yellow bird. A couple deferent scenarios can play out. Usually the top big magnet gets rammed by JF causing it to go up and right to collect some other magnets and clear out the top birds…meanwhile when you hit the bottom cement ball with the laser, the cement ball will get it’s bottom yellow birdie then smack into the bottom right big magnet causing it to deflect up to take out the right most yellow birdie.

Of course it doesn’t always play out this way…but it seems regardless of what goes where, you can clear the level and end up with an above average score.

I’m with @bird-tester on this one in that I didn’t find too much enjoyment out of this one and just glad to be moving on to finish the last two rounds of this Episode ;-D

@lesleyg – Thank you so much for sharing this method! I had already tried everything and always ended up with 30-40k. Finally with your strategy I managed to get a 1-birder with 49k. It’s not above average, but it will do, ’cause I really don’t want to play this level for a while :D

I discovered the same thing as AngryAdvisor, I guess ;-) I was able to score higher by “threading the needle” on the 2 left-most large magnets. Aim in between them, then just before the magnetic force takes hold, fire upwards to the right. The shooter goes to the lower right and collides with what’s there, while the shot takes out everything in the upper right. Everything was collected up with this one shot.

1 bird swap for (current) top score: Darth Vader between the two large magnets, activate as close to the center as possible. Results vary, but can be very nice!

Vader swap for me too. Key is to activate Darth Vader such that you pull that middle red coated bird downward and blast him back upwards through everything. If you don’t pull the red coated bird downward, Vader swap scores are much, much lower.

A good 1 Pigger, I swapped for Droideka, sent him dead center between the 2 large magnets and activated him as soon as the magnets started closing in.

@mpg973 – sorry, I do have a bad habit of reading the alias and not the @. And I don’t play on PC, just iPhone, where 15,000 coins cost $99.00 and permanent purchase of one character costs 2,000 coins. So basically $100 buys me only 7 permanent characters. Hence my shock. I didn’t know one could earn significant coins in the PC version. Since ABN only allows swaps and powerups in SWII, I don’t keep track or make a point of daily login to earn them, etc. Nice playing by you, regardless!

There is quite a difference in platforms on this one. On the PC, if Jango touches anything he can no longer shoot the rocket. On the android tablet, Jango can bounce off magnets or a cement ball, push them a little, and still shoot. Because of that difference, I find getting the one birder with Jango is much easier on the android than the PC.

I aimed for slightly below the closest arm of the upper large magnet. Just before BF hits the magnet, aim the rocket for the bottom portion of the lowest small magnet. The momentum of BF should push the large magnet northeast and simultaneously the movement of the small magnet should clear the right hand side. Not a super high score, but it got me three stars.

Don’t have enough points to get DV so had to use JF. Aim at the top first big magnet, line between silver and red, right before hitting magnet tap the top second circle stone. JF pushed and turned big magnet, rocket hit first circle stone, magnets did the rest of the work.

I had trouble getting a good score with Vader, but I found the Imperial Officer to work pretty easily. There’s a clear path all the way through the bottom half, and he’s not magnetic. Fling him through that path slowly, and pick off the birds one by one. Then, hit as much chain as possible for extra points. 56,900.
