@garethw, are you waiting at least 36-40 hours before feeding? You can easily earn 25 in that amount of time. To do so, you must (and these do NOT include the special hatchling apple event):

Play the daily challenge. Even of you make just 2 rooms, you will get 2 apples. If you make it through all 3, you will have earned at least 5 apples.

It seems to be running a few cards short of a full deck – it disabled my ability to buy extra birds w gems in regular clan games (not battles, just the basic ones).

I’m most curious about the Pearls. What will the new thing do for us? I have every non-legendary hat (except missing 3 football, better luck next year) and it takes a long time to save up 25K pearls.

I’m getting a lot more chances for apples now, easily 25 in 48 hours. It works like this for me:

1 free apple every level of DC = 3 Apples. Yes, make sure you get them, waste a bird if you have to. You get offered the chance at least in the first frame of every level and maybe the second or third. Upon completion of DC, you also get 3 apples.…[Read more]
