Angry Birds Space Red Planet Level 5-25 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Red Planet level 5-25 is to launch Lazer Bird below the first planet on the left, and redirect him towards the top end of the wooden plank holding the tnt box. The gravity should pull everything towards the center planet, destroying all the pigs there. Then launch Terence above the planets on a long curve. The gravity should pull the bird back towards the center, skimming the bottom right crystals and bounce of the square trampoline on the left. This will send him towards the last group of pigs, destroying them.

Laser bird from down and point to the corner under TNT which will fall and blow up all the middle. Green north very close to the ball with stick will take care of right side

I got 136550 with the same two shots as your video. I got all the crystals but noticed my first bird score was lower than yours. I guess I need some more debris points from the first shot.

This is kind of a tough one! You will fairly often make this with two birds and still not have enough destruction for 3 stars. I do have a couple of little things I’ve discovered.
For those of you I’ve read on here before who are not,shall we say,big fans of Lazer Bird, you can send LB on the same path the vid sends Terence on and he will wind up in the same place as the vid. The only real advantage of this is you get more time to line up the shot on the TNT. The shot in the vid isn’t hard but some might find this easier.
The other thing is if you wind up with one piggie still circling (like I almost always do) go ahead and shoot Big T anyway – he frequently takes him out.
If you wind up with two piggies still circling reset. You ain’t going anywhere with that one.

I did end up using Big T as you described to take out the circling pig and bounce off the uhmm bouncy thing into the plank holding the piggie prisoners between the right side planets:)

if you get the lazer bird very close to the top it will liberate that TNT with no acceleration. then if you get it close enough you will brush the crystals!

@jerry246 I did the same first shot as you describe. Sent lazer bird in an easy clockwise lob just skimming the outcropping on the top left planetoid and let him glide all the way around with no redirecting to the blue crystals at the bottom right. He took out the crystals, then kept cruising on to the wooden shelf with the tnt, taking out one of the circling pigs on the way. If he breaks the wood just right, the tnt will nicely fall to the center planet and cause great destruction. My second shot was just like the walkthrough video.

Well, that didn’t last long. Spent more time on your strat and got to 137150, which hopefull will last for a while. @78RPM — You might be interested to know that my current high score was obtained with 2 pigs circling after first shot. I’ve been “able” (lucky enough) to take out 2 circling pigs with 2nd shot, so don’t quit.

Cool! That surprises me as I’d probably shot that 20-30 times with the two birds and gotten nowhere with it and it was frustrating me to have two good shots and that stupid piggie happily floating around in his bubble!

I was there at 130K, now improved to 138K. I send both birds clockwise. Mayby for someone aiming Lazer this way will be easier. Of course – if Lazer hits any of circulating pigs – it changed direction. A lot of repetition are needed.

Same basic strategy, but because i try to find orientation in the stars, here is my 2-Star-aiming-pont-strategy:

– 1st bird counterclockwise and close to the vulcanic structure right of the slingshot. Aim for the brightest star south of middle planet. Redirect, when you reach the bright star, aiming left for the solo chrystal and hit the wood board on its left side
Result is, that the bird flies further not interacting with the fallen TNT. The TNT goes deeper in the glass and stone blocks, more destruction and more flying debris

– second bird clockwise over all the vulcanic structures, aiming for the bright star in the north of middle planet. On PC, i have to aim one or two pixels under the star, the track of the bird then lies exactly in the middle of the bright star.
Result: a minimum of 5 out of ten destruction of all remaining chrystals, especially the solo one on the right

If one of the rotation like flying astronaut pigs remain, no problem at all:
Launch the second bird, when the lasting pig crosses the bumper on the left side. The falling debris from the right wood structure will hit him, or the falling bird.

Not the top score, but reaching 12th place is fine for me, and as most of the times, the destruction of the TNT varies your score with several thousands points.

Hi @sweetp. Could I ask what the target is for today’s challenge? The top score is given as 144.440 by MaatieBlond, but the high score for the challenge is showing as 145,930. Thanks!

@peejaydee27 If someone flags current top score after challenge starts, then there is a discrepancy between (new) top score that appears in the leaderboard and (previous) high score shown in the challenge page. The former is the one that corresonds to the new, lower, threshold.

However, I am curious to know for which reason some @admins decided to remove previous 145k+ top score. There is ample amount of debris to reach such score, and this is actually what I made a few hours after challenge ended. 91k after 1st shot, and unusually efficient crushing of central wooden pile of debris by Terrence after 2dn shot. 148k is probably possibly after in case of a perfect 1st shot where most coal parts crash on stone bricks, destroying both, in which case 94k is certainly possible.

@sglouk – many thanks for the explanation. I had no idea that the scenario you described existed, but I get it now. Anyway congrats on the trophy! Too bad it came too late for the challenge, but top score is good enough, even without the puppy. Should be pretty safe too :-))

145/2. I tried and tried with the round and round method. Not great. Scores all over the place. I switched to the Nest walkthrough and it didn’t take long to start getting more regular and higher average scores. Good enough for 2nd place anyway.
