To 3-star Year of the Dragon level 1-4, high arch the White bird so it comes down in the middle gap. Drop the egg bomb to blow up the TNT and hopefully sending the firework into the right side structure. This should take down and pop most of the pigs on the left side. Now take down the rest of the structure with the remaining Yellow birds. You usually don’t need the last Yellow bird, but he’s there if you do. The score in the video below is 114,890.

125530… 1 bird strat:
Aim relatively low arc to between the second and third towers, not the big gap with the TNT. The far gap. In the third tower, you will see a long vertical stone plank, aim for that.

Your goal, drop the bomb in the small space by coming in lower than the roof of the far tower (the one with the long vertical stone). Takes out everything, although right side can take some time to collapse. Lots of pointes to be had.

The issue: the second roof is higher than the first roof, and the roofs overhang so that they block the opening between the towers. Come in below the second roof and drop the bomb wen you pass the first roof.

It’s the same method I used,I got 138,770.I had the top score for only one day,but seems like there’s always a letdown once in a while.

If you want the fish, use loox’s one bird strat, described above. Once the collapse from the WB is complete, as long as there are pigs remaining, use up your stock of yellows to bring down every tower, and destroy as much as possible, then tap the icon to activate the MD.

Fling the fish from the slingshot up in a high arc so it lands on the left side of the base for the second tower. At this point, the MD should do the rest. I had forgotten how I obtained the fish on this level, so I tested out the strat I just described, and, sure enough, I got Total Destruction.

Finally got the koi: Used loox’s technique for 1st bird (never able to get 1 birder, so plenty of clean-up left). YBs — clean up as much of right side, especially far right, as possible. Land koi in absolute bottom of second gap (the one loox said to bomb), so you have to leave this clear. I could swear that dragon actually made 2 loops, but this could be my imagination, since I haven’t seen it since.

Man, just had the freakiest glitch. The dragon came down into the space where the tnt is, and he got stuck there, like in the ground. He just stayed there thrashing around, curled up like a pretzel. You could see all his sections going at different angles. This went on about 30 seconds, then it was over. The score screen popped up and said I got 91%. I have an android phone. Anyone else ever have this happen?

I sure hope that Fujitoast puts some “mighty dragon” walkthroughs for getting total destruction, especially for level 1-7. On that level I got 99%! NINETY NINE PERCENT!!!!!! I can’t seem to get higher than that.

I have tried every possible strategy for levels 4 and 5. I got 3 stars very easy but, I cannot go above 99% on 4 and 96% on 5. . Can anyone help me?

137730 on a 1-bird clear! :) This is one case where Matilda’s lack of responsitivity is a plus.

Instead of dropping the egg bomb in the gap between towers 2 and 3, let Matilda bloat into tower 3.

If you hit it just right, you’ll get the push to the right to clear the pigs and most of the structures, and debris falling left to trigger the TNT which kills the remaining pigs and gets the left part of tower 1 to fall left.

I had debris still falling when the level ended, so I should have had another 2K worth.

Nice flinging @brave1966, I was wondering if the bloated bird technique would work on this level. I had many times where I didn’t drop the egg in time & had the right tower collapse, but never got the left side to go as well. Now I see it can be done, I’ll give it a try. Congrats on your score :)

My mouth was hanging open as the debris slowly toppled tower 2, got the TNT going and finally got the last part of tower 1 to fall.

I just wish Rovio would do something about the levels ending prematurely when debris, pigs and/or birds are still rolling/falling.

@mvnla2 : No clue at all. That gap is a tricky shot to perfect, whether you drop the egg or not. I also got a 1-birder at ~124.7k dropping the egg like @loox‘s strat.

@mvnla2 : Try the junction between the vertical stone piece and its buttom support (requires a higher arc). This seems to give the best chance at debris and perhaps Matilda falling left after impact.

NOTE: It is possible to 1-bird this at ~109.5k if some structures (like the far left part of tower 1) are not destroyed.

Was able to get the one bird solution to work a number of times but could not obtain a score above 132k. Zoomed in and aligned the tail feathers with the edge of the rock in the background. So I used @loox strategy of dropping the egg in the gap of the first two structures. Thanks for posting your strategy.

I could not get the one bird solution at all after many attempts so switched back to launching Matilda low and slow enough to drop the egg between the second and third towers at least occasionally. After a few attempts I did manage to get a decent two bird score.

Thanks for the tip @brave1966 I used it in my revisit of these levels and it paid off! Mathilda doing what she always does, refusing to let go of her egg, but this time she is allowed to! Took me a lot of tries for a good score, but so worth it!

i saw @e-star video (thx a lot, great)
and i try and try and try everyone the same shot.
high arc, hit the stone-plank on third tower very low, right side fall to the right, after that one tower fall
to the left, hit the second tower, fall to the left, tnt and rocket explode, many debris.
