‘New’ golden eggs question
3 Birds for 190240 so far ;-)
I sent YB down towards the little cement square on the first structure. If you hit it just right, you will knock the wooden planks and push almost the whole thing forward. The cement square and the falling ball from above can assist in pushing things right. This will get the two piglets below. I’ve had scores as I as 45K here and reset if I don’t get at least 40K+.
I sent the Red to the now exposed vertical wood slab that sits just left of the thicker horizontal one in the middle. Sometimes this can be enough to cave in the whole middle structure. Here’s a screenshot of this and the score at this point:
https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/lesleyg/album/picture/14090/
Then WB in a high and kinda wide arch so she comes just left of the “love-Nest” (Cute: I LOVE the NEST too ;-))sign and drop her egg so that it takes out the horizontal bottom left wood support piece of the right structure. I found that this works better than a flatter arch so that the top part of structure will tumble left and into the pit for more debris points.
I have also got scores above 187K+ using a fourth bird when the middle structure didn’t cave in after the second bird. I still sent WB in the same high arch, taking out the right structure as mentioned above and then use the 4th YB to cut through the remaining debris piled up in the middle. I found if you can get a good shot coming in low at the left side near the that little cement square, you can sometimes get it to drop. Hopefully you can get the Nest sign in the water too to be chopped up by debris as it seems to add quite a few more points.
Thank you once again @lesleyg! Unfortunately I’m having a problem with this release on the iPhone. In a few levels, this one included, the screen doesn’t zoom out. I had been trying from the start to do as the nest vid showed but when the bird is fired up it leaves the screen giving no clue as when to boost. Very frustrating :( Anyhoo I’d been playing around trying to find a better way and came close to your strat. You just confirmed what I’d been trying to do so thank you for the brilliant description! I actually got the 190k with 4 birds but can see some great scores appearing with 3. Cheers!
205550/3 with that, except that i was sending the 2nd slightly lower, to the thicker horizontal wood slab. it doesn’t always break, but with some precision (something like 3 steps in the sling playing zoomed-out) it frequently does, which allows the collapse (if all goes well) to be a bit larger (indeed for this score the situation after the 2nd was very similar to the one in the picture in @lesleyg ‘s comment above, but with quite a bit more destruction on the islands (10 pieces fewer left on them).
This helped me get an extra 4,000 on this level still stuck at 197k though – going to spend my time on other levels thanks for the explanation though!!
@vuelva @lesleyg thanks for this strat and details to it.
I think we all love the Nest, as we are much time around.
196400/3
many thx to @lesleyg for the great strat.
here my video:

3 birds, 198K. Straightforward, just got lucky with debris I guess.
1: Into the thin horizontal plank under the stone square in the first tower. You want it to drop in the water, not get stuck against the 2nd tower.
2: There should be something of a gap at the side of the 2nd tower now. In he goes.
3: 45 degrees upwards, drop the egg at the base of the right tower. Don’t hit the structure with the bird’s carcass. The goal is to topple the majority of the tower to the left and into the water.
If everything get stuck at the bridge you can use another bird into the base of the 2nd tower and you can still get a decent score.
@angrychicken I don’t understand your description of the second shot? you say there should be ‘somewhat of a gap, in he goes’ gap where,?
With the first shot i got the horizontal plank under the small stone I have a clear shot at the tower on the second cliff of ‘rock and flowers’ with the two pigs on top but I don’t see a gap ? to throw ‘him’ into’?
@kathy There is a plank connecting towers 1 and 2. When the first tower falls, that plank will pull a rectangular block out from the side of the second tower. Where that block used to be is where you should aim the second bird.
@admins This level is slightly&rarely self destructive though pointwise it doesn´t help much. Had this happen at least twice:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qJYXccGcG6o
@micromax that’s interesting, but Whhinnee i was dissapointed not to see your full strat on video :(
Im not having much luck here any tips ?
Sorry @kathy, my video archive has nothing useful. However I believe I used @sal9´s official strat with the difference that I found sweetspot for 2nd bird to topple 1st&2nd tower. Unfortunately can´t recall where the sweet spot was…
S’ok thanks @micromax I know if you had it you would have posted it, I’ll keep trying; )
@mvnla2 I’ve also experience this partial destruction, happened to quickly for me to notice any score as i threw my bird,I’ll keep an eye on it.
@micromax @Kathy — Have you seen the self-destruction without flinging a bird? Not sure that makes any difference, but… What device are you using? I think Kathy is on Android.
Just did ~100 restarts with no self-destrucion of the towers, but did see both pigs in the left boat pop for ~10K, and just now for ~15K while I was typing this, so maybe a couple of minutes for the second time?
I was a bit clumsy on this level so it seems looking at my video, but somehow I did get myself above average that way. I will get back, but for now butterfingers flinging will have to do ;)
I send yellow with a high arc towards the wooden plank next to the top 2 piggies. Getting him thru to the bottom, makes the right tower collaps. Red towards the left tower, at the horizontal wooden plank above the little stone. Toppling over the left tower, unfortunately not the second though. Mathilda went towards the far right structure, egging the bottom and taking out the whole building. Only the left tower left right… so I should be able to get it with the next yellow… wrong… butterfingers mocked up the shot and I needed the last yellow as well. I got a score of 193070 for now.
Here is my video.
1st to the plank under the small stone square in front, collapsing some of the tower into the water & getting the 2 floating pigs below.
2nd to the thick horizontal block, it didn’t break, only cracked. The 2 pigs up top fell & the middle section wobbled but didn’t collapse. At this point I had a rather pathetic 58k.
3rd Matilda in a high arc & dropped the egg on the thick wooden block at the base of the right tower. I aimed Matida so she came in a bit high & her not-a-carcass rebounded off the top of the right tower back into the middle part. It was enough to collapse it all down for 206k.
3rd shot trajectory –

I guess the moral of the story is don’t reset if the middle doesn’t collapse with the 2nd shot? The rebounding Matilda did work for me a few times to collapse the middle, although I think I got a bit lucky with debris.
@karen68, I ended up using 4 birds instead, but improved my score just a bit! I need to come back when I’m not so frustrated to break 195k.
I did the exact same three steps. Just went from left to right with the birds and waited for the results. Had a good hit with the white bird and the debris piles in the middle just kept falling into the water. Thanks @karen68;for posting.
I just scored 207,360 points by mostly following the strategy of @karen68 ! A big THANK YOU to her !!
1st bird worked exactly as she wrote, except entire left tower fell down & got both pigs below.
2nd bird,to thick horizontal block, destroying the block, causing the second tower to collapse to the left, bringing down the middle Tiki tower and most of the wood under it. This destroyed the two pigs to the right of the center Tiki tower and the two pigs & most of their boat down below. This left only the far right tower.
3rd bird,Matilda, was sent at a high arc to come down close to the right tower. I dropped her egg toward the thick horizontal wood block at the bottom left side of the tower. I waited until Matilda was about even with the thick horizontal wood block directly over the far right Tiki. This cleared most of the right tower and a lot of the floating debris. The counter was still rising when the level timed out.
Two birds were left unused. This is how I earned another puppy.

Good luck & happy flinging to all !!!
the way you describe what happened, i think this is rather my variation at angryadvisor’s method (karen ‘s addition being to not despair when the structure does not collapse yet after the 2nd)?
210k using @karen68 method….. Thanks
@sweetp Tropigal paradise 1-9.png
@skowse congrats to you & @meanguy on your puppies! Awesome flinging :D
@skowse, congrats on your puppy, great score! However, the criteria of your score proof is to provide a screenshot of the closing tally screen that appears when the level ends. Please upload your pic and I’ll gladly award you this puppy eagerly waiting for you. Thanks!
@sweetp When you introduced the rule change, you wrote, in the Pigliantis 2-12 walkthrough:
“… Of course, if you want to provide the screenshot of the level before it times out (to demonstrate remaining debris or trajectory), that’s acceptable also. …”
This is what @skowse did, and with the new score showing. So that should be good for the puppy, should it not?
Whenever I’m able to take a screenshot like that, I prefer that myself, as I think such a screenshot provides much more information than the tally.
You know, you’re absolutely right @gladvold. And my HUGE apologies to you @skowse for the confusion. I guess I was just being a paranoid OCD when I didn’t see the tally screenshot.
Pleeeeez disregard my heat-exhausted brain-farted mind. I’ll go stick my head in the chicken coop now…
Aw, don’t be so hard on yourself! Thanks for sorting it out @sweetp! ☺
Didn’t realize until after what the criteria was, I can live without puppy, thanks for checking

This level is highly frustrating. I seemed to have hit a barrier. I’ve been trying the strategy from @karen68 but am starving for points here.
