Angry Birds Seasons celebrates its 5th birthday with it’s biggest update yet! Invasion Of The Egg Snatchers (v5.3.1) is now available for iOS and Android via Google Play, with more platforms coming soon!

Angry Birds Seasons is 5 years old! We’re celebrating with a spooky new episode, and a huge new update that makes Seasons totally free to download!
This update includes:
- New Episode: Invasion of the Egg Snatchers! 30 new levels with a kooky “1950’s B movie vibe.
- “Big Robot” Golden Egg that is unlocked after 3-starring all levels.
- Have you located the hidden Golden Egg!. If you need help finding any of the Golden Eggs hidden in Angry Birds Seasons check out our complete guide.
- Gameplay Rewards: Receive birdcoins by getting stars on any new level that you play (Note: this is a one time occurrence, replaying a level will not yield more birdcoins).
- Power Ups: Can be purchased with Birdcoins now.
- Daily Missions: Complete the missions to receive birdcoins and unlock special items.
- Bird Wear: Collect special items to unlock unique Bird Wear for each bird.
- New Power Bird: The Tele Bird, it zaps through obstacles to reach it’s target!
- Power-Up Test Site: Practice Shockwave’s and Tele Bird’s abilities in those unique levels.
- Power Birds level up and improve their skills now when you use them!
- Pig Days! more levels added to the “Coming Soon” list! For a complete listing of which levels are released when, see our Pig Days Guide. Note: Some users had issues with the “Cloud” download system last time, and it looks like it is being used again. Please let us know of any issues.
- Lastly, the Cloud System has been expanded to include early episodes (up to 2013) in an effort to save hard drive space.
- No new achievements for iOS, which is expected since the SD version is completely full and the HD version only has 4 points available.

The screens are a little busy and it’s a bit difficult to pick out the targets from the background at times. Strategies don’t seem to be obvious, and that’s a good thing.
WOW! so many halloween updates today! transformers, epic AND Seasons. love it
I kinda hate the so looking busy level title screen, everything is popping out everywhere. It was organized and clear but now..
Coins, coins everywhere. But update looks good. TeleBird is really good-it’s like mix of Dahlia and Darth Vader. Bird Wear looks like Stella’s book in classic AB.
Someone found 2nd Golden Egg? I have only one.
Is there a second in this upload? Lately it has been one GE per 15 levels-for the first upload at leas . It is worth hitting the first GE location again in a new game after you got it-worth 3000 points.
Did anyone find a second golden egg?
The first one is in a metal can (?) in one of the first 15 levels.
Seems like it doesn’t give me the thousands of coins from previous episodes that clearly should be mine. :(
Yeah, if you allready completed those levels, you wont get coins for them. no big deal. Same counts for Rio.

The Seasons 5th anniversary level is great, if difficult. Haven’t gotten TD yet, but did improve my score a lot trying.
The invasion of the egg-snatchers levels are very inventive and Rube-Goldbergesq. Although there are now even more incentives to use power-ups in seasons, I don’t think it is necessary to get 3 stars (although I haven’t 3*’ed all levels yet.
I don’t understand what the bird-wear does yet. I got the two items shown in the pic above, but the string of Christmas lights disappeared, and I can’t figure out what to do with the other item, or what it is.
Cool update, i think ABO will have bird coins soon.
It’s bad but i get it, they really need money…
That is, if ABO will even have updates in the future…my bet is that Rovio is just going to invest in AB 2 and make new gimmicks for still-active older games (like this one) or some of the newer, equally popular games.
After this update, previous episodes can be unlocked only with coins, beginning with Trick or Treat and ending with South Hamerica. (if these episodes weren’t played before this update)

New levels are cool, Bird Coins, Cloud System and the many other improvements are great, but…
Again, no Rovio Account or any other way to save your progress and restore it on another device :(
Luckily enough, at least this game hasn’t got laggy and slow performing on my phone, just like Space and Bad Piggies did. Yet…
I agree Javi-Wan Kenobi Rovio needs to align Seasons with the other games when it comes to backing up progress.

After updating for some reason hogs and kisses, wreck the halls, piglantis, and haunted hogs won’t open it says loading for a second and then stops.
For me just Hogs ans Kisses episode won’t open! I forced close and opened! works fine now!
Finished first pass, 3-stars: 15, 2-stars: 13, 1-stars: 2. Got some work to do.
Level 15’s cap needs to be raised at bit.

Too bad, another version of AB deleted. Coins, money, ect. Rovio is destroying the game.
Were is the old game play? I just want to have some fun.
Just ignore the coins, no one is forcing you to use them – The game is still as good as five years ago @pbm
@sal9 I know what @pbm means, the last 3 chapters are done by another team. Ham dunk, tropical and this invaders update. The levels are so busy, what was wrong with the original concept wood-glass-stone? I like new levels thats for sure, but i even more enjoy the old one. I decided allready to do halloween 2011 again, just for fun.

This and Bad Piggies are no longer compatible with my 4th gen iPod with these updates.
Since the update, and the iOS 9.1 update, Angry Birds Seasons fails to launch.
Any ideas how to fix it? without losing all the scores?

Have only completed 10 levels, so don’t known any others.
Should not have used the term gantry. It is a tower crane and the position I was trying to point out is the front of the cabin. Hope that clarifies.
Have they made it so you can save your game progress through the cloud?
I have essentially the entire game 3-starred in my iPhone, and I recently got an Android, and I don’t want to lose all my progress…
Unfortunately, cloud saving is still not available in Seasons.
nor is it compatible with my galaxy pocket since the update! we are going wrong. Bad Piggies first seasons now! please angrybirdsnest, reclamenle Rovio. They need to be consistent again please! Not all have large cell and these were of pocoas angry birds compatible with most mobile phones.

And downloaded all older episodes; after a bit of a faff mind as initially the app had problems connecting to the server despite a good signal, but hey, all sorted.
So, first thing that I’ve noticed is that on the episode selection screen, the total score for each episode is no longer showing, which is pretty annoying because it was a useful way of checking that you’d entered scores correctly on the leaderboards.
Not liking the idea of being forced to play the power-up trial thingy before I can open the new episode, and I’m assuming that by doing so I’ll then be faced with the ‘daily challenge’ screens every day.
As for the bird coins, well in rio you could use the coins to unlock feather levels without paying real money, and yet in seasons you dont seem to be able to use the coins to unlock the pay-to-unlock levels, for exampe, in Ham Dunk, and since I’ve opened/unlocked/played all previous episodes to the new one, well I’m kind of wondering what their purpose is.
I guess I’ll find out in due course.
So, bird coins…seems you can use them to unlock bonus feather levels in ABs, but not Ham Dunk levels.
Anyone else had the app freeze on the “starring…” page when loading, or episodes not opening (after downloading from cloud), due to red circle with red line through it and message stating problems connecting to server when trying to play offline?
How can you get through the Power Up test episodes? I would love to play the egg snatchers episodes, but Power Up Test ep 3 looks impossible. And you need to complete these before being able to play the egg snatcher ones.
First bird to tower with rocks immediately ahead. Activate. Rocks fly on to ledges and takes out bird on smaller pile of rocks below.
Launch next bird and immediately put finger in middle of top pile of dynamite and birds inside the building. You will see 3 flashing purple lines in target area followed by detonation and clearance of area
Repeat for the lower pile
ahh! These are also such birds which have the teleport ability? I thought you have to use the special Power Up bird, and from these you can only use 1 per level.

@toooldforthis Just drop Shockwave on the first pig, then finish the remaining pigs with a bird or two.

Just noticed, the new update supports the 3-D touch on the iPhone 6s If you push harder on the screen, it scrolls up, down, left and right instead of pulling back the sling.
Have 3* on all levels except 1-5 and 2-29. Does anyone have any tips? I’m sure I’m missing something important on 1-5, and maybe also on 2-29.
Hi @mvnla2, do you still look for strategy on 2-29? I have good strat for 195k scores.

Thanks @burbman it worked for me after about 5 attempts. Not a high score but it did provide the three stars.
@mvnla2 – 1-5 get red to clear the upper left spoke of the wheel, then go grocery shopping or something and let the wheel slowly tear itself apart. Finish the level with terrance to take out all of the lower pigs.
would be way more fun if that lever started the wheel spinning like crazy!
@burbman — I didn’t go to the grocery store, but the wheel stopped moving after 10 min or so, and all the baskets were intact. How much destruction of the wheel is there?
@burbman — I let 1-5 run overnight, and ended up with almost 56 K and 2.5 baskets destroyed. Final score of 99K, still only 2* (lousy final shots), but 2 more baskets seemed to fall apart without my hitting them. Sigh! I might go grocery shopping today.
I finally got 3* on 2-29. For what it’s worth, here’s my start: Bomb to toe of metal man on left. Wooden balls should drop and clear most of the way to bottom pig on left. Matilda to bomb upper pig on left and take out top structure. Big Red to lower left pig. For this to work you need some luck to get the TNT on the right to blow, and the lower center right pig to pop.
Still haven’t gotten 1-5, despite @Burbman‘s advice. Just doesn’t keep going for me.
Did you know that when you have note played the earlier episodes yet, you need to pay coins to play the episode. One time purchases. Between 200 and 700 coins per episode. (Depends how many levels the episode have) 15 coins per level when i calculated. Glad i allready completed them in the past!! @sal9

One bug(?) on level 1-13: If any bird will be send backwards downhill, middle ant’s losing cocoon which falls and pops pig.
yikes! i cant get past the 3rd power up test site. any hints? not seeing walkthroughs…
