Angry Birds Seasons Haunted Hogs Level 2-6 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Seasons Haunted Hogs level 2-6 is to fire the Black bird into the leftmost horizontal stone plank, having the bird fall onto the Fraken-pig below and reducing most of the level to rubble. Loft another Black bird to detonate the TNT at the bottom of the level. All that likely remains is the top-right Fraken-pig, though he’s a bit stubborn as he’s glued to his block. The score in the video is 107,470.

The top-right Frankenpig sometimes collapses by itself but it seems to happen only rarely.

The video seems to be the way to go. The first shot sometimes takes out the far-right Frankenpig, and this makes it much easier to finish the level with a good score.

Well, a 1-birder is possible (high arc down thru to TNT below). Only problem, score was 93,330. The only way I can seem to get above average is to grind it out doing lots of damage with 3 or 4 birds.

Well, since it’s my first high score, I guess I better post the strat.

First bird high arc down thru both horizontal stone planks and into the TNT. You aren’t going to see a ton of damage, but you are cracking the blocks, which is important for later breakage and good damage.

Second bird high arc, you are aiming for the little alcove where the bottom right pig sits (he may be gone by now), resting against the left block on detonation. Again, cracking as well as destroying blocks. In the case of my high score, this shot also took out the right tower and pig, but it normally doesn’t.

Third bird, same as first shot in video. You want the Bbird to go all the way down to the bottom so it pushes out all the blocks out to the right to the cracked ones below, massive damage.

Fourth bird (the one I didn’t need on the high score) to aim low at the right tower, dropping bomb at last minute to take out the tower and pig.

This 4 bird strat has been giving me repeatable score of over 115+, it was only that I was able to take out the right tower with my second shot that I scored so high. Hope this helps.

@waimea thank you for posting your strat, I followed the same idea.
1st bird lob to the TNT – zoomed in I lined up the bomb so it covered the wig in the background picture.
2nd shot a slightly wider arc to the bottom right pig. At this point pretty well the whole centre was cleared out, the left structure was still there although the Frankenpig was gone, & the right tower & pig were still there.
3rd shot – as you did, like the 1st video shot, but it didn’t drop all the way down & when it detonated the horizontal stone blocks flew right to take down the right tower & pig.
I’m sorry for taking your 1st top score away :( It’s my 1st top score too. Wonder how long it will last.

I actually got my score before coming here to check. I had a different method.
First bomb to and through the second frankenpig from the right dropping down through the stone plank it’s sitting on landing just above and to the right of the TNT stack. Kablooey to the entire level except the left lower pig! Two more bomb birds for clean up!

@amslimfordy I’m at work so I can’t upload a screenshot till the AM ( I could email it to you) but I smoked this level though my current score in second will have to stand cause I could log on to post before the challenge ended. Thanks @karen68 @waimea for great scores and posts!
I find that going for the right corner pocket first and taking out that hollow stone square sets you up for shot two nicely. You can either still high lob down to the TNT or flat shot to the left frankenpig . I feel the advantage of right side first gives you a better initial chance to topple the right frankenpig early so you can concentrate on the middle. Having to go at him late wastes a good opportunity for more points.

@swellD @karen68 I know it’s been along time, but I’m a bit confused as to the first shot, Swelld first says to and through the second frankenpig but then says the bottom right corner pocket? I had some luck going through the second frankenpig but obliviously not enough lol, and @e-star video says she followed swelld but she goes straight through the tnt, her video is a year after the aforementioned comments So i can sees the misunderstanding. I know 2.5 years later is a bit long to ask if anyone remembers which strat they used?
I’ll just fling em’ all and hope for the best lol

127020 with 3 birds.

I have been using @waimea strategy with a small change.

For the second Bomb, instead of aiming for the alcove I try to get the hollow stone block on the left of it. It gets better overall destruction.

Then for the last bird, I got lucky and one stone went to touch the right tower making it topple to the left. I was experimenting with different trajectories using slightly reduced speed at the time but I am not sure that it has any impact. I tried again after that but never got the same outcome.

Anyway, here is the final result.

and many thx to @asher for the second bird.
first bird high arc, break the two horizontal stone direction to the tnt.
second bird high arc, a little bit to the right (as the first), hit the right side from the hollow stone.
after detonate, a small stone fly to the right tower and the last pig fall.
immediately start the third bird, hit the horizontal-stone on first tower, bird roll down and the stones fall
and break all other.

Thank you for posting your strategy @waimea. That is basically how I played this level. While challenging glad to move to the next. I used the little black mole/heart on the guys face to line up the second bird. Helped in getting the bird to land to the right of the first for more block destruction.

114K with two birds. First bird same shot as the video. Second bird with a high lob into the tnt. This destroyed everything, including ‘frankenstein’ on the right.

Also be careful to make sure that far right pig pops when he falls. I have had him land stone side down, and survive the dropoff to the right. I didn’t notice until I was waiting for the level cleared screen to come up and when it didn’t, I had to zoom out to find him just sitting there.

@ burbman I use the fuse of the bomb bird to line up as for this level the sling obscuring how much of it is my gauge. Hope that helps

I really wish I knew what the magic was – I followed the instructions posted by @swelld and got a freak luck shot – the TNT exploded and almost everything was destroyed with one bird. Prior to that I was really struggling to get three stars on this one, kept trying the various suggestions and got “the shot” on one my many hundreds of attempts.

I used the same first shot of Swelld, but not as much damage (hmmm maybe I need to keep at it, looking at the posts). Second bomb bird I send in to the stone on the left (just for debris points) and the third went to the right pig. I got 115590 this way.

After hundreds of attempts, I use the combination of strats for this level to finally get in the top 100. Currently #59. Using iPad2 with close up view.

I first took out the right side. Using Strat from swellD going for right side first and tip on lining up shots using wick. And also using @waimea Strat to damage blocks for easier breakage on later shots.

Take the bomb bird straight down in the sling and then go slightly to the left to when just a little bit of orange from the fuse is showing,( the more orange showing the further to the right it will go). You want to land someplace in between the right tower and the second from the right Frankenstein and the structure. You want to hit inside, Ideally taking out the Frankenstein pig in the structure and as many blocks on right side. This can take out anything from total destruction of the inside structure to just taking out the Frankenstein pig. Wait for all blocks and damage to settle. It is hard to wait, but sometimes the whole structure will fall late, plus you want to get as many points as possible.

Use the second bomb straight across vertical. (Different results depending on the first bird.) You want to take out the far left pig at the bottom of the structure and destroy or damage as many blocks remaining.

The third bomb, take straight down and have the wick line straight up with the sling. This bird needs to land as close to the TNT as possible to blow up TNT and destroy all the rest of blocks. Damaged blocks falling in as in @waimeaj’s Strat.

If all went well, all blocks and pigs destroyed for a score high score. Must get TNT for high score.

If not use the last bird to get any remaining pigs

Retry dozens (or maybe hundreds) more times for shots to line up just right for higher score. Adjusting first bird for the amount of orange showing for most damage and then getting the next two shots just right.

Sitting here watching 57 channels and nothing on. All I have to do is fling away. I employed the strategy of @waimea over and over and over again.

Finally got a super boom with the first bird, not much left in the pit for the second. More times than not I didn’t get the lucky flying stone to hit the right upper pig on the third shot. This time it did.

The force was with me for all three shots.
