Our strategy for Angry Birds Seasons Haunted Hogs level 1-9 is to roll a Red bird along the bottom of the level, detonating the TNT. This will cause a domino effect that will clear most of the structure. Drop the leftmost tower with an Orange bird, and use a Yellow bird to clean up if needed. The score in the video is 106,300.

Can’t find a golden egg
Just something a little weird going on for me. I scored 106,200 and only got two stars so I kept playing and got 105,340 and finally got the third star. Huh??????
I think you must have misread the first score.
No …. Positive… It did this I was keeping track trying to find /verify the three star threshhold. Programming glitch????
As long as you got your third star …
Also wanted to add that i ultimately went with a two bird strategy for 121,690. I aimed first bird at the top two blocks. This topplessome of the left tower and if the bird, or the right debris, falls down the shaft then the dynamite will shoot a rock to the other dynamite. This right hand dynamite shoots a rock up and brings down most of the right tower. Then I lobbed the second bird to land right in the center of the structure for any remaining birds and maximum destruction.
And, duh, I meant ….any remaining PIGS and maximum destruction.
Top score for a little while. Red underneath it all to hit bottom tnt and everything went to pieces. In all this excitement i’m not sure if i used another bird to clean up…
Thanks zillion times I just scored 131510 using first shot like in video, and orange take it all out. I was stucked on this level with two stars between 98k and 102k. Oh, my God I could kiss someone here, I am soooo ahppy.
Red bird at the bottom to hit TNT. Right tower should fall on middle one. Score around 65k.
Orange Bird just under the wood plank on the top of first tower. Trigger manually just under the stone blocks to throw them on the top tower which should fall.
=> score 121800
@reno your tip on the second shot is very helpful, I haven’t gotten the damage you have, but with some work, I’m sure I will. Thanks! :)
Thanks @reno for the second bird tip! This helped improve my score from 113720 to 121760 ;-)
I had gotten 113720 by sending red the same, rolling it under the first structure. Then I sent the OB in a very high arch towards the suspended blocks. It doesn’t have enough force to make it all the way but as it approaches the wood, near the left to middle, I manually inflated him causing them to tumble down more leftward rather then straight down and some piecs flew right. It was very cool to watch but the scores just don’t get as much as your way ;-)
Getting the egg on this level was very fun and challenging as it takes all four birds thrown just right ;-)
This is how I got my score though it was quite unintentional. 1st shot was red underneath to the TNT as in the video, I had a pretty decent score, around 66k at this point. I was aiming the OB into the left structure but it went lower than I planned, rolled along the top of the 2 horizontal stone blocks in front & landed where the lower left pig sits. When he inflated the thick horizontal wood block above him went flying up to hit the bottom of the blocks up top. These blocks fell to the right, demolishing what was left of the central structure, while the left side was destoyed by the OB. I’ve been able to repeat it a few times with lower scores. I’ve found that lobbing the OB up to the top tends to drop the blocks straight down or left.
Thanks @karen68 for the tip on the second bird. I found that if the bird landed near or on the little block of wood, the flying debris had a better chance of hitting something above. Was able to repeat it three times. Also had the orange bird fly up and bring down the stone and wood above.
second like @karen68 thx
i started the second bird immediately after first bird,
self-activate
here a video with 129k:
https://youtu.be/OvUQTmnV3vQ
I just scored 135,040 points by using the @karen68 strategy variation. I found that if I don’t have at least 70,000 points after the first bird, higher scores won’t happen.

Congrats to @asher on a great score!
Good luck and happy flinging to all !!
more points if you can get the 2nd shot to release the bricks up high, similar to Reno 2nd shot.
How do you release these bricks? It happened to me once, accidently, and it improved my score by 10k. But no clue how I did it
You have to push the stone bricks up enough so that they touch the top structure. So you need to get as close as possible to the horizontal plank that supports them (the close you are, the higher it goes) and pop at the right time (to control angle).
You can take the vertical wood beam as reference, pop slightly after you break it.
I prefer to use the video method for the first two shots and then clean up by using the yellow bird to topple the suspended bricks. It isn’t too difficult to score 115k+ this way.
I just had a the orange bird throw a piece of wood up on top of the suspended bricks, which then fell over and did some damage getting me up to 119k.
this is actually a brilliant strategy @dmsral ! thanks – the blocks on the top of the screen fall quite fast even if you hit them barely and they do lots of damage. 1st bird like in the video, o/b just under or at the wooden plank on the leftmost tower, directly under the two horizontal stone blocks. Ignite manually to try to push the wood and the blocks high enough so that one of them hits the stone/wood pile on the upper screen.
Unstable level – I was attempting, and failing, to skip the red bird along the bottom when the far right tower fell, knocking over the middle tower and leaving the 4 left pigs. No great score advantage however – only about 40,000 points.
This level reminds me of my mother-in-law, all bark and no bite. Just to keep things interesting, I had to come up with an alternate way to break the TNTs without relying on that weird shoot-the-bird-into-a-brick-wall-until-you-miss-and-it-rolls-under-the-couch-to-gather-dust shot. Zoomed all the way in, pull red so it’s in middle of the dark window frame that continues up and curves to the left. Let em go and watch Red soar in a perfect parabola and break the blue glass of the swing. It will sometimes bounce off the pebble on top of TNT then drop back down to detonate. If your aim is off by an @rdnzlrips2 pixel or two, you still might get an explosion. Or you might wake up the next morning and wonder why you’re sleeping in your mother-in-law’s basement, wishing you could turn off that bloody alarm clock buzzer only to realize its just her listening to Rush Limbaugh and cackling like a witch with a broom up… Oops. Nevermind. Have fun trying the “parabolic pig popper.” Aloha.
Correction: should have been “@rdnzlrips82 pixel or two”
It’s going to take me forever to hit the average score. This level is stingy with points.
This level is evil!
I used the same first shot as the video, but it resulted in destruction of all the piggies on the right. I send in orange bird into the middle of the vertical plank underneath the stone blocks of the left tower, making some of the debris shooting upwards toward the wood and stone above the string. The stones and wood cause extra damage and resulted in a score of 126650.
Here is my video.
132400 with 2 birds.
I have been trying to build a strategy on @karen68 unintentional find.
So Red in the tunnel, but you don’t have an alternative here.
Then Bubbles to the left of the horizontal stone plank, so that he stops before the last vertical wood block. Here is the trajectory and final place just before he inflates.
Then one of the wood block will topple the hanging structure and the rest will be nicely destroyed.
That is, in a perfect world.
Here is the final result.
And the highscore screenshot.
Hope it helps.
I think @reno deserves credit for this strat as well.. It may have been missed..

Not to take away any credit due to those who have improved on this..
@asher
Do you mean the left of the ‘Wooden plank that the stone blocks sit upon? I don’t see a ‘stone plank’ unless you mean to the left of the stone blocks?
@kathy: indeed this is not a plank. I meant the horizontal stone block. As you can see on the screenshot do not aim for the vertical wood plank (this time I think I got it right).
Ahhh thanks @asher ?
137220 with two birds.
Same strategy as before.
Unfortunately the difference is how well the first bird is doing, and you have no control over that.
To get this score I had 76k after Red, and I was just hoping that Bubbles will send something to dislodge the top pile. And he did ;-)
So I guess that to get a puppy today you should be around 70k after Red.
Anyway, here is the final result for the Daily Challenge.
And this is highscore screenshot.
All the screenshots are also available in high res here in one set.
@sweetp
@asher can i ask what system are you using and do you use any associated operating devices/tools/aids? Mouse/memory tracking?
I wonder too. I don’t mean this to sound like sour grapes eIther. I know we have “history” but surely it’s time to reveal to everyone on here, with never a video posted by you, ever, how you get the top scores all the time? I apologise for asking but you have never explained how it’s done and we would really all like to know with BS. Thanks😌
Sorry @asher in case you missed this
@ixan57
In fact the answer is and always has been simple.
I am using a PC with BlueStacks to emulate Android.
I have a large screen, a gamer mouse (G502) and I am just playing a lot. Never less than 5 hours a day.
When you play that much you start noticing little things that are making the differences, and when necessary I am even making small marks on my screen with a sharpie. I guess it’s allowed? (sarcasm here)
And when you play that much, the L factor is more likely to kick in. As you know Rinse & Repeat is the key here.
@steviep147
The reason I don’t do videos is that, first, it’s time consuming and second I don’t even have the bandwidth to upload them. One single image weighting 277kb like today is taking me more than a minute to upload, so guess what… I can’t and won’t do videos just to prove my point.
BTW, I don’t get the top scores all the times ;-)
I am certainly trying very hard but aren’t we all?
So good flinging to you and consider my scores as a challenge.
I am always explaining the strategies in details and most of the shots are not that difficult so they are regularly beaten. I have had my share of Sheriff visits ;->
In the end, it will be better than whining and trying to blame me for some imaginary thing I am not doing.
To tell you the truth, on a more personal note, I am not appreciating your comment and insinuations and I would appreciate if you could avoid them in the future. Thanks.
So, nothing new but 3 for 130+
First bird as per video, with some good D In the middle for 74 and change. I was trying @karen68 shot, almost but not quite, didn’t drop the top. I was at 121 but my high was 123 so I was already zoomed out for the chuck shot I’ve been practicing.
All pigs dead, but throw chuck so he hits the second stone down at an upward angle for maximum dispersion. I usually get between 15 & 17 with this, this time I got 19 for a raw score of 120+ so with the 10k bonus, 130!
And a reluctant thanks to @asher is due, the pic helped me realize you need to barely clip the corner of that stone with shot 2, I got it to drop the top a few times but didn’t break my prior 123 high. That serious rig is good for finding the art of the possible, no matter how hard to get with a 4″ phone.
And oh by the way, if I can get 130 with three ……..
Thanks @knichy , sorry was typing over you!!?
Ackkk I’m such a dummy!! Would have had 134k but i fling the third bird, because i didn’t do the math quick enough ?
New high score
Red as the normal, under to the tnt.
OB medium arc (should be able to see dotted line on tally score pic) to bottom centre of middle structure. Good inflation (not manual). Bricks everywhere, but essentially one knocked over the top wooden blocks left, that landed and destroyed left structure with the 2 pigs.
https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/ixan57/album/picture/25084/
I liked noticing the ghostly behavior of the donut ^^ if it got crushed, it instantly reappears between the two ghost stones at the bottom.
