Like I said above, I think the value of the feathers is zero regarding your chances of winning rounds in the Star Cup.

I think the Star Cup is a complete fraud and here is why:
1) After lots of ,battles’ I played the pattern becomes pretty clear: If you don’t use any power ups (except the free one), you will probably lose the battle. Has anyone gone through all six rounds of the streak successfully? I have been to round 5 or 6 so many times now, but for some ‘strange’ reason (= Rovio-related pay-to-win-strategy?), I just can’t beat anyone at round 6. It’s so annoying that you are not put against an opponent (or bot) with at least roughly the same bird levels.

I think the option was re-introduced with the latest update. I can now watch videos on the “Angry Birds Shop” screen again although it seems that they increased the time interval between this option (=after watching 4 vids, you have to wait much longer than before).

Great strategy! I managed to repeat it on Facebook. But it is strange – I have basicly the same amount of debris left yet I am short by about 25,000 (!) points. Don’t know why.

He was probably reported as a cheater and removed. I don’t really know how Rovio decides or knows someone cheated, but it’s a good thing that they take action against those people.
