Our strategy for Angry Birds Seasons Back to School level 1-12 is to fling the yellow bird low, taking out the wood beams supporting the left most tower. Now fire the second yellow bird at a bit higher arch, taking out the top part of the middle tower (we intentionally didn’t take out the feet). The third shot is key. Fire the pink bird at a similar trajectory as the second yellow bird with the goal of capturing the middle columns in the magic bubbles. If you do the entire structure will become unstable and collapse. The score in the video is 114,960.

I don’t know which is the easier strategy, but here’s an alternative to the video:
First bird high trajectory, take out the leg of the second structure. It will fall left and take out the first structure as well. The second bird can now finish the level by taking out the leg of the third structure + the beam that protects the lower right pig. This rarely gives more that 107k though. It’s better to smash through the legs of the third structure and leave the lowest pig. Then aim the third bird at the gap between the second and third structure. Exact aiming point depends on the situation. You’ll want at least one of the columns to fly in the bubbles, ideally two, and one or two columns to topple over.
Wow, i got a few tries but i got 120k in your strategy
i tried a few times. but i finally got it.
This strat worked, but I’ll need to work it some more later. I’d have to agree that this is easier than the video method.
An almost 2yr old strat & it works. On PC, went from 117K to 123K. Took some time but now I’m moving…above the avg. I know tougher levels still are ahead. Thanks f91jsw!
Used the same strategy @f91jsw, thanks for posting. Obtained an above average score.
Tried the one bird solution by hitting the stone on the second structure but it did not work for me. Knocked over the third structure and most of the second but there was nothing I could see for the first. Hit the stone only, cracking it with out moving the pencil or hitting the wood many times and the first structure remained.
I suggest using the above strategy. After bird one however wait for the top right pig to wobble and fall. If it falls shoot the right pillars so they too fall over for a few extra k points. If the top right pig doesn’t fall it’s impossible or very hard to let the pillars fall.
I mean f91jsw strategy.
In had success, with a minor adjustment, to f91’s method. First bird as stated. Second bird into the plank above the two right columns … Hitting it on the left edge from the side. This knocks the tower over and the two pillars are knocked over to the right along with the plank.
This is exactly what I did, too, Alex. The second shot is tough, though. The pillars and structure do not want to go over when you hit the stone plank. I noticed that I had better luck on those times where the top of the left structure was leaning to the left after my first shot. I started waiting for it to fall–which it does occasiionally. Without the weight on the top, I had a much easier time knocking over the pillars with the YB. I was at 108K for a long time on this level, but finally got up to 121K with this strategy.
I agree, the right tower has to be leaning or have fallen to be able to knock over the columns by hitting the edge of that stone plank. I never got it to fall while it was completely upright. Be patient too as it often leans for a while before falling, I got a 1-birder this way but only got 117k.
I also made many attempts to fire the 1st pink bird in after all the pigs were gone to lift the columns for more points, but kept messing it up. You have to be precise but very fast as the level likes to end quickly, & I never made it work but there’s more points to be had there.
I don’t have the great score to go with it yet, but have been working on a one bird strategy here. Fire first bird head on into the stone block on top of second tower. The brace next to it will push the third tower over, and occasionally the second tower then falls to the left on the rebound, taking the first tower with it. Base columns have been wobbling so far, but not fallen over. My best score with this strat so far is 111k, but I could see it going much higher.
I can confirm Burbmans strategy works for 131040 points too bad none of the four right colums were broken (although they also fell). Tried this strategy before but had no result that came even close. Thanks to you I persisted and got this nice result. Grtz
I mean 4 left colums
Burbman, seems like I stumbled onto a strategy — hitting stone slab atop tower head-on — after you once again. However, I gave up after failing to achieve 1-bird success after hundreds of tries. Your success gave me reason to retry and, after many many more tries, I finally succeeded. It is a lot easier to repeat a strategy once you have confidence that someone already completed it. Thank you for posting your results.
@burbman: thank you for posting your strategy. I would not have thought of it otherwise. Although I did not get as high a score as @lelongue, I’m happy. P.S. I had five columns left. I’d post a picture if I could figure out how!
Wow !! @hallieginsb Great score!! I know it’s been. What 5 years lol!! But wanted to say congrats!! I’m back trying again to improve these older levels, i was so rusty back then, Id like to think my flinging has improved over the years!!lol I’m gonna give it another thing fling or 100 heehee and yep any tips you have to offer would be quite welcome ???
Unfortunately i think this level is a lot more stableb than it was 5 years ago, I’m hitting that stone block atop the middle tower and that’s it , not breaking the wood plank, thats it , no instability the side towers at all ?
Hey @kathy, try this variation on a theme. I used the e-star video first shot. Tried and tried to get the right columns to fall with second shot but no luck. So, shot Stella to top of left column on the right, which pushed them over, and let her rebound to left to grab those columns and voila! Not a hugely great score, but about 5k better than I was before.
Thanks @halliesginsb , i keep coming back to this one so thanks for the reply, i got my current score with captrec strat, but then @bernersenn said he got the one birder with hitting the stone, so i continue to slam poor Chuck into that stone block lol, like banging my own head against a wall ?
I appreciate the aiming points, I really never liked this episode but it’s on my ‘AB to finish list’
Darn i did it again.. Sorry @hallieginsb ?
@kathy sorry, almost a week later and I’m just now getting around to looking at this level. You probably moved on long ago. Anyway, I do recall a lot of r&r before I hit that magical one birder. I was aiming to hit the very end of that stone block – no brushing against the eraser or the wood plank below. To do that, I used a fairly flat arch and accelerated about one-third of the way, when the bird was still rising slightly. But doing that now doesn’t seem to yield the desired result, so ….CaptREC’s strat may be the best way to go now. Sorry!
I too have tried this strategy repeatedly with poor results, but did not want to give up on it – it is so elegant! Finally hit it big time today and got an amazing 140k! Not sure how many columns were destroyed – I think it was the right three – and all columns were down. Here’s a photo showing the score:

@burbman, you’re absolutely correct with the 1-Birder, I just got it myself after about 100 attempts but the score wasn’t high enough because none of the pillars fell, and that’s where the high scores are. going to keep trying for a few hours and see what happens, Lord knows I need him now more than ever.
Incredible, after near a thousand attempts, a wrist, forearm and shoulder ache, all I got was another 1050 points. I guess Rovio doesn’t like my Avatar’s message.
Got the one birder hitting the top stone block ala @burbman . I don’t know if it is the only way to get it, or even the best way , but I can add that I started the shot with the sling as low as possible so that I activated the bird when it was almost to the block.
Thanks @burbman! Without reading much beyond your post, I gave it a try and within 10 minutes I had a decent 1-birder. Didn’t know how lucky I was until I came back and read more posts. Whew!
I am curious where others are triggering the bird. I went with a fairly flat trajectory, triggering a little less than half way to the stone.
131,200 with one yellow.
High arch down to center tower left side wood vert at the bottom, next to the ABC yellow book but not damaging the little wood angled crossbeam. Eventually the columns went down on tower 1 and 3. It was… surprising.
the only difference with this and other similar strategies is… if one bird doesn’t do it, then try, try again.
Got 124k with 2 birds following video strat! Previously at 108k.
Boy, I sure am glad that some other folks finally scored in the 131000 range. I got my 131510 on the first day the update came out, which was achieved mainly through frustration. Based on the amount of destruction, I figured it was a decent score, but without a functioning leaderboard, I had nothing to compare it to. The next day, when my score was about 20k higher than anyone else, I couldn’t remember how I did it except that it only took one bird. Looking at the other posts, I used a strategy just like B-Radical.
What a relief…
Ok, usually when I’m not doing so well on a level I can leave it for a day or two and come back. This one however, got inside my head. I couldn’t leave it alone till I hit that one birder. And after a million tries I got it, only to find I got less points than I previously had with two birds ahhhh! So I threw another million at it. And presto almost 127k. Not the 130 I was hoping for and the pillars were still moving as the level ended so I feel a bit cheated.
Screenshot
So the moral is “if at first you don’t succeed try spending 2 days flinging 2 million birds, recharging your phone 5 times and falling behind in all the other levels, then maybe you might get a good score”
I struggled to get above average on this one so thanks for the tips everyone but am still stuck at 115500! I used @b-radical‘s first shot but couldn;t get the one birdie. The middle and left collpased along with the first two pillars. Then I sent second YB to the far right, low to get some remaining wood and umbrella pig. I used third bird to push over far right columns and was able to grab the middle colums too and drop them. One remained. Tough level and you definately need some “column action’ to get an above average scxore ;-)
@lesleyg this also.is what I’ve been struggling with..just came to.plead with.@ moonsabre for the strategy I assume it was a one birder which as.I see posted above is how flingers are acei
achieving scores in the 130k range I guesz its a mattter of.try try again, seems.to be the.theme.of this whole episode…ty.for sharing.in.my frustration ssry your having a hard time but at least.I know.its not just me:(
@kathy, I actually came here to read your reply and gave it another go and as I was shooting the first bird down to the middle tower like I previously stated, the top of the right tower started collapsing to the left on it’s own! With the impact of my first bird taking out the left leg of middle tower which also caused the left tower to collapse like before, now with falling right tower…I got a one birdie!!! The score was only 118910 but I’ll take it ;-)
Ty @lesleyg ..;) great job! ! Can you believe after all this time I just figured out how to zoom once when I first started slim told me to squeeze my phone..which kinda worked but I think messed up my phone ..I saw someone yesterday use their forefinger and thumb on screen ..and it works for me too on my little android ..all this time I have been shooting blind..now I can see what I’m aiming at..now maybe I can get better score..for anyone who has android and didn’t know ..ty AA for strat:)
Funny thing is, i was reading your strat now (after half am hour hitting the top stone without success), @lesleyg, tried it and right tower started to move. Though I needed a second bird to clean up.
@kathy, it is one of those keep shooting levels. Sadly I didn’t get a pic of the debris as the level ended a little bit earlier but got a picture of the path at least. The specifics are courtesy of @DonnMega who described the shot perfectly. Hitting the stone above the middle and yellow does not break any of the wood. The debris along the top falls in the middle of the middle and last tower and pushes both to the sides.

Here are a few more attempts to show the idea of the result. In my 133K, both the left and right side dropped.
http://angrybir.de/QZKHix
http://angrybir.de/PR7fWK
However, I have hit dozens of 121-124K with 2 or 3 with the idea of shooting the columns (lift with the pink bird to get 2 columns at least).
Thanks @moonsabre for the reply and the screen shots and the hope lol
I’ll keep trying..ty @DonnMega for helping.moonsabre to help me:).pass it forward!:)
Thank you, Moonsabre! I think I must have tried this method hundreds of times, and was about to give up, when suddenly everything happened as you have described it! I even beat your record :)
Nice shooting @jomasa! Glad you beat it =) I’m sure you’ll hold that one for a while!
Thanx:-))
I was stuck on 105k for ages before I hit on the “high first bird” strategy similar to in the first post on this page.
This level is annoying though, as it ends REALLY quickly as soon as the last pig is popped, even when columns are still toppling, so you don’t get the points.
I shot the first bird in a high arc, damaging the left wooden leg of the second tower. Tower 1 and 2 collapsed entirely. Top right pig fell down, so second birds takes out the 3 tower. But to gain more points (about 3k) I send in the 3 bird lifting the columns that weren’t damaged with the first bird. I got 123410.
After reading the strats, I see there is a one birdie possible, so I might return. For now here is my video of the 3 birdie strat.
Nice trick @e-star, sending the third bird to get a higher score. And you cought it on video! I was trying to do it, but I am too slow, the level usually ends before I send the bird. However, while trying to repeat your trick, I almost had a one-birder, only the lowest pig with the red umbrella remained (and the pillars around it), so I had to use the second bird to finish but improved my score from 119K to 122K anyway. :)
@f91jsw, well done your strategy should be the main walkthrough!
well, i came up with @e-star strategy too, although for my 116k score i activated the bird at the wrong time and ended up dive bombing the horizontal stone piece in the 2nd tower…. this ultimately did a lot fo damage to the 3rd tower…. 2nd bird i took out the lower legs of the leftmost tower (wood legs that is)…. 3rd bird i was able to calmly shoot as not all pigs were dead and left the 3rd towers columns and (i think) they crashed down onto one of the columns in the second tower…. i couldn’t pay to much attention due to watching score and seeing if i should shoot 4th bird…. anyhow — I think slightly damageing all 3 towers is best on the first shot if you can pull it off, makes lifting columns easier…. good luck
@sunshine, I love you to death, any chance your account here may have been comprimised? 199k seems like a bit of a stretch.
@burbman no, I would call that a very BAD typo!!!!!! Thanks for letting me know….I fixed it!!!! :/ Sorry, here’s a mocha for your trouble!!!!!!
@sunshine, that’s cool, I know you wouldn’t do anything like that on purpose. I was a little worried that the nest had been hacked, and the troublemakers were going to start impersonating the regulars. Good to know it was just an innocent typo!!
p.s. thanks for the mocha, its still a little early out here on the left coast, hits the spot just right!
@burbman ;D
@burbman nice score!!!! :D
Thank you, I used the one bird approach I listed several months ago.
Coming back to this after many years. Dozens and dozens of attempts and I have yet to see that right tower make any significant movement. Haven’t managed less than a two-bird clear and have not come close to my existing 117K score.
