Our strategy for Blossom River Level #12 is to fling the Yellow bird straight ahead, dropping the first major tower. Then send the Boomerang bird along a similar trajectory, dropping the far structure as well. The score in the video below is 92,410.

Accidentally managed a one-birder that gave me top score. I was playing the same way as shown on video, but I think this time I sent the bird somewhat higher, through the head of the marmoset. As a result, the left structure fell to the right, something hit the right structure and it also collapsed.
@annach Congratulations! I’ve tried to do that several hundred times, but never get enough to fall to the right to collapse the second tower. Now that I know it’s possible, I may (or may not) try again.
Finally hit a good one-birder here for 100,170. It is actually comparatively easy to one-bird the level; I’ve had several but they were all in 96K-97K range which was less than my two bird scores. On the 100K one, I accelerated early to get a flat trajectory aiming to hit both the marmoset and the horizontal wood plank of the left tower. I’m not sure what hit the right tower but it started wobbling because vertical wood plank was severely damaged and it collapsed on itself.
p.s. I just read the rest of the comments on the page. I think @Kelani provides more detailed and accurate description of what needs to happen; now that I replay the shot in my mind, it think YB when through the monkey and just below horizontal wood plank (maybe grazing it). Flat trajectory is key though.
Also, thanks @annach for posting how you got your score. I knew early on that one-birder is possible but wasn’t sure it was the highest points strategy. Reading your confirmation and score kept me chasing it.
Tip: when following the video strat, use the reverse boomerang method
I did the same @bernersenn ;) I am wondering Why they would put boomerang bird in this level when he can obviously Not go that far to use him the way he was made for? They must have caught on to abn reverse remi lol!
@Kathy, I think that they already know that we’re using this bird this way. And, with this of movement, it got a lot of power.
Thanks! I improved my score by 4k. The reverse boomerang does significantly more damage

thx @bernersenn for the tip
here my video:
https://youtu.be/OB5jX-ZWmIg
Thanks @bernersenn for reverse boomerang tip and @comex666 for the video. Used the same two shots and obtained a respectable score.
My tip: shoot a tad higher than the video so the debris crashes down onto the boat deck, for points, rather than falls into the river and floats away for nothing. Should easily get you 35k+ after the first shot
Thanks for the tip @hunnybunny. It worked like a charm.
@hunnybunny hey, you get points for water debris too, just takes 15 seconds for it to sink :) Anyway, thanks for the good tip. The 5k 1st shot boost is always nice.
To get a 1 birder: Speed through the first marmoset, into the box above the green fishy label box, THEN into the seam between the hollow wood block and the two wood cubes. Those cubes must be moved or destroyed, or the structure will fall leftward. If they’re moved, when the structure plops down, it’ll fall rightward. Rarely, debris will also topple the right structure.
@Kelani it’s a watermelon in that box hee hee not a fishy ; )
oh my bad @Kelani I wasn’t zoomed inn. . is a fishy box with a watermelon inside;)
Haha, @Kelani. Sometimes the structure doesn’t fall either way, left or right!
http://angrybir.de/1hCOyQh
Or mostly, Chuck gets hung up under those wood pieces! Grrr!!
@sweetp Big Grr! I HATE when it plays bouncy structure with me. It’s usually those little cubes’ fault. Sometimes if Chuck gets stuck, it’ll bounce then stay stable. When he vanishes, then it’ll fall to the right. :)
I owe @hunnybunny an apology. Some of that stuff does float! You think it sank, but no, it’s there; sneakily cruising under the boat like an underwater fruit salad.
@kelani fruits and hollow wooden blocks float!
I just played it out a few more times to check, and the lower trajectory almost always leaves three pineapples (500 points each, plus 50 points each for their leafy tops) and sometimes a hollow wooden block (500 points) floating next to the boat.
That’s 2150 points that I desparately need with my very average flinging skills lol!
Sorry this reply belongs to the thread I started above. Pressed the wrong thing, again!
Anybody got any hints to get the feather on this level? I’ve gotten 98% and 99% a dozen times so far, but never 100% yet.
@jbygden I got the feather by completely clearing the first tower (including debris in the water) using all the birds. Then simply drop the can at the base of the second tower (ME should clear the chain on the boat)
Thanks @sal9, that solved it for me!
@ozmongoose Could you please double-check your score for this level? It’s 10k points above the current #1, and looks like it may be a typo. If it’s not, you probably encountered the infamous double-counted birds bug (DCB), where bonus birds are counted twice. If it was a typo, and your actual score is 104,270, congrats on a great score!
cc: @admins
@kelani Definitely correct score. Am having trouble remembering my strat, will need to find some time to replay this level. But I’m sure there was quite a bit of the ‘L’ factor involved.
https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/ozmongoose/album/picture/10381/
@ozmongoose, I agree with @kelani. I think your score is a result of a glitch we’ve investigated and reported to Rovio. Do you remember exactly what you did before the scoreboard window popped up? We’d like to get as much details as possible, as it will help Rovio resolve this problem. Thanks, and happy flinging!
@Admins
@sweetp Was early hours of morning – only time I can find to play at the moment – I barely even remember playing it! It was a one-birder. I only went into the front structure and it fell to the right. There wasn’t much debris left. I wasn’t online at the time if that helps.
@ozmongoose Thanks so much for the info. I know this stuff’s tough to recall. I sometimes forget my own name in the mornings. :) Anyway, online/offline status shouldn’t cause the problem. I had one more question to ask you privately. I’ll send a friend quest shortly.
As for the score, I’m at a loss. For a 1-birder w/DCB glitch, the actual score (84,270 with only 19,270 coming from debris) is impossibly low. Getting a 1b requires a specific collapse of both towers, which always gives 24-39k debris points. 1b score range is 89-102k, but I’ve never seen one below 90k. So, unless this was actually a 2-birder + DCB, I’m stumped.
FWIW, Even though I don’t think 114k is possible, I do think it’s way more likely than an 84k 1-birder.
cc: @SweetP
@sweetp did you & other @admins determine that the 114k score is without the double counted birds? I don’t understand how the score is possible. Can someone please let the rest of us know this wasn’t a result of the DCB error?
@justpast40, I’m having a closer look at this issue, but I think it is a result of the DCB glitch as we mentioned above. If it’s determined to be the cause, we’ll (unfortunately) have to remove the score.
Thanks @sweetp, I just want a level playing field for all of us : -)
Thx for the pic! I’m a late-comer; I’d really appreciate learning about your strategy on this one. Would you mind sharing? Your score is truly awesome! Thanks & Congrats! … rogue :-)
I have to agree with everyone else here that the score of 144,270 is almost 10k above the second place score. I suspect it was from the double counting glitch or the use of a power up. I support the score be removed.
@admins @sweetp
@wrw01, thanks for the keeping your eye out. I guess that score has been removed by @bernersenn or another @admins.
@sweept @admins @bernersenn my typo mistake. I was referencing the score of 114,270 which was almost 10k above the second place score. The score belongs to ozmongoose.
@wrw01 no issue, I didn’t take any action on this because of the double counted birds. It could (don’t know of is still does) happen im that time. So for me this score is valid.
@sweetp
Thanks for the update @bernersenn
@admins The top three scores on this level are likely either DCB or PU scores. The 1-bird shot tops out around 104k. 112-114k is just not possible on this level.
Ooops! Sorry…. I *meant* to read ALL the posts before I posted above (arg)! The “112-114k is just not …” makes real sense. THX! … rogue

I haven’t even come close to a 1 bird solution on this level.
