Our strategy for Blossom River Level #13 is to loft the Orange bird into the wooden structure in the top-right of the level. The expansion should send a stone boulder on a detour under the level, leaving a chain of destruction in its wake. Of the three remaining marmosets, target the rightmost with a Yellow bird. The unstable structure should detonate the TNT below. The score in the video below is 154,870.

164990 with 1 bird. Like the video, but wait longer before activating, trying to push debris to the left and pushing everything over.
Thanks @dmsral. I find your approach to a one birder much easier.
Thanks @dmsral for the tip and @xebic88 for the video. Was able to get the one bird solution to work and the debris that was pushed did good damage to obtain a good score.
Another 1-bird strategy: High arc, aim for the gap between the square stone block and the crate with a pile of rubble on. Its OK to hit on top of the square stone and let the bird roll down into the gap. With some luck, the upper square stone block (with a marmoset clinging on to it) will fall to the right and break the support of the upper right structure, make the round boulder fall and set off the chain reaction.
Good thinking, @f91jsw. 173k with plenty of remains.
Great strat @f91jsw and great score @parlonsqc. I def see the possibility but haven’t pulled off the reality yet. One question – it seems it would work best to NOT let the OB get to the bottom of the gap before manually inflating. Is that correct? Thanks!
Yes, I think it is better to inflate before it hits the bottom.
@f91jsw, didn’t came up with that. Thanks
There are 6 stone blocks and no crates with rubble on them..mind to explain where to aim at properly?
Just completed my 14th one-bird without making even average. Tried every permutation of the solutions posted that I can come up with. I’m afraid I’m jinxed (or missing something obvious). Any additional hints would be appreciated.
thanks @Kelani for explaing the aiming point; )
although is not doing a thing for me! !
@communistpride Find the pile of 7 stone balls to the left of stacked TNTs. Just above the balls is a big wood crate, which has “stuff” on top of it. At 10:00 from that crate is a stone block. I assume he means arc high and land in that gap.
If that’s not what he meant then I’m as lost as you.
Thanks much Kelani, that’s pretty much my interpretation too.I was at least able to reach average now with your affirmation. Perhaps I’ll come back to this bugger of a level later.
Tried hundred times f91jsw’s strategy but only with 161+k. But I also tried slightly different 2 birder strategy and it worked for me. I’ve sent 1-st bird to the middle platform (right end) between the wooden pack and wooden vertical block. It pushed stone debris downwards. Only one stone block remained, but it also was damaged enough to send the stone ball with second bird on the top platform. Second bird must also be carefuly aimed to cause a lot of damage to the upper structure. Try this several times, because there is luck factor needed.
beating my head against the wall here trying to get back above the average. I have noticed something interesting with this level, but have not yet been able to take advantage of it. When the life ring on the far right is touched by a bird, it extends outward from the wall, giving anything in its way a pretty good punch. So far have only been able to get there with yellow, but if I could find a way to get orange to slice all the way through the upper right structure, then get down to the life ring, interesting things might happen. Best of luck to all those who try!!
Ok, this is getting spooky. This is my 3rd high score obtained using a @dmsral tip. Once again, many thanks for his great observations.
Short Strategy: Do what dmsral says! :)
Long Strategy: aim a hair higher than the video. You want to clip the edge of the wood plank under the hollow wood block. Inflate so the rectangular stone block lands on OB’s head around 11:00-12:00. After the points graphics go away, you’ll see where the block is. Inflate late, but don’t hit the ground. Generally, the longer you wait, the more debris gets thrown leftward. The stone block can do it, but usually 2-3 wood blocks do the job.
Aiming Tip: Zoomed in full, aim so the front of the sling pouch is above the highest nub of the tree scenery. Practice the aiming so you can concentrate on the several hundred flings you’ll need to get the inflation timing.
Screenshot with superimposed trajectory and inflation spot.
Nice going @Kelani! Thanks for the screenshot, which helped me find the spot to inflate OB. However, those pieces of wood flying to the left do not seem to have enough energy to push over that tower in the middle. This is one of those endless wash, rinse, repeat levels that are so frustrating!
That’s one of those things you just run with and don’t ask questions. I’ll try to get some tips posted when the new Space level come out so you can get some more top scores. :-)
Do what I say?!? My kids will get a good laugh out of that!
@kelani I’ve made this shot several times now but nothing over 166k ? But this IS how you did it right ? Just want to make sure I’m not wasting time and you found a different way ?
@Kathy Nothing over 166k? Your score’s 169k! Boy are you gonna get a sarcastic comment in the BP later. :) Yes ma’am. The pic I posted is the money shot. The only difference is the inflate spot may be a bit low. If your debris isn’t flying left and hitting the tower, you’re probably inflating a bit late.
@dmsral Don’t ask questions. Check! I’ll keep my eyes peeled for your space tips. It’s my only shot against @Rat9. One day, your kids will understand the wisdom of my command. :)
@kelani , thanks for the screenshot, added 10k to my score! I’m still barely above average but I have a couple hours until I need to start work.
@kelani another 6k on top of the 10k improvement got me almost into the top 50. at about 8 seconds per launch cycle, have plenty of time to move up a few more slots.
lol, the very next shot after my last comment got me to #36, still room, and times, for improvement.
I don’t usually whine during a Challenge, but I’m going to even though today isn’t Tuesday.
Ok guys, I think your OB is bigger then mine …. LOL. I’m just not even seeing how a 1-birder is possible with the inflation I’m getting, but obviously with all these great scores it’s got to be my/user error : -(.
If the inflation pushes the blocks to the left then some other part of the equation doesn’t work & I need need shot #2 & sadly I’m not even average.
Even if not @ mention below, can someone please describe what “it” is that pushes the left tower & how it is that “it” gets there? Does “it” fall, is “it” pushed, does “it” fly thru the air?
I’m too embarrassed to even post my score, but these malicious marmosets will not get the best of me!
@kelani because you have a great score, posted a pic & don’t mind answering my pleas.
@zebung, @liontooth, & @comex666, because as of this post you are the top 3 most improved. I can’t help but note that 2 of you 3 are PC, as is kelani, so is this one of those levels where the platform makes a difference?
Hi @justpast40 ,.when the bird goes through the left side of the top right structure the top starts to fall left , i would hazard a guess u might be inflating a tad early ,i have had quite a few 1 birda,s where OB has been left to blow himself up ,though i have rarely got over 166k with this and find inflating just before he grabs the pump works better for higher score :) ,so when u inflate top gets thrown left and cement ball will go right ,i hope that is of some help https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/xebic88/album/picture/10975/ ,not sure how much the pic will help , oh im using an Ipad air at the moment , good luck to all
http://youtu.be/k7F8UxWWvXY ..uncut video ,how rude !
Thank you @xebic88, your pic looks pretty similar to @stocktoad (below).
After reading stocktoad’s post I managed 162k. This definitely is the easier of the 1-bird strategies, at least for me, as it was the only one I’ve gotten to work.
Of course, we’ve had an update since this release & perhaps things have changed. Maybe it’s become more difficult to obtain the 1-birder using the trajectory in the 1-birder posts from April & May.
YW @justpast40 :)
@SweetP Yeah, that happens, and it is a hair puller, but after Level #19 this one’s like heaven! If you’re aiming like my pic and the blocks are moving left, but lack the energy to make it, you’re inflating a bit too late. My dot may be a bit on the low side. You already had lots of practice hitting a tiny time window, so I *know* you can do this :)
Good luck with it, and let me know if you get stuck! Team Bloated Pig is eagerly awaiting our 7th member in the top 7 :)

Blossom River #13 175,770
@bryonjames your link goes to your #14 screenshot. You can still get to it by the right arrow, though.
Nice job!
Orange Bird to far right wood towers manually inflating. Yellow Bird over the tall tower with the large stone, breaking the tower, and tumbling left 166k
Easier one birder This shot is similar to the one used by @dmsral @kelani and others, but you don’t have to time the activation. It still takes a few rinse and repeats, but I don’t think nearly as many.
High arc. Aim so the OB goes just over the solid green slab and into the top left corner of the wooden crate. No need to activate. Here is a screenshot https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/stocktoad/album/picture/10974/
Leave it to @Stocktoad :) Nice find, man! I’m glad you discovered this, because for some reason, I haven’t gotten a single 1-birder using my strategy since the TT/HH update. Not sure if it’s a game change, or I’m just really out of practice. It does seem odd, though. Before, I was able to get one about 20-30% of the time.
Luv you for sharing this great strategy @stocktoad. Yippeeeee !!! I’m finally above average with 162620 while on my iPad. Of course with such a great idea the average is likely to rise & I may slowly slip back down below average, but for now I’m happy.
A few hours ago I posted a whine for help (above) & also noted that at that time, 2 of the 3 most improved scores were on a PC, as you too are on PC, I’m wondering if there’s a difference between platforms.
Stocktoad, do you play on a secondary platform by chance where you could see if you notice any differences?
One extra tip on @Stocktoad‘s strategy. Every time I’ve gotten the 1-birder to work, OB has just barely clipped the right side of the green plank. It’s a light enough hit that it doesn’t noticeably affect his trajectory, but you will see a little white dust cloud from his impact.
@justpast40 Pre-TT/HH update, I clocked many hours on this level using iOS and PC, and didn’t notice any difference. Since my earlier strategy doesn’t seem to work well anymore, that could have changed. I’ll give iOS a try tonight and see if I notice anything.
Thanks @stocktoad, much easier to get the 1-birder this way.
@kelani, @justpast40 this shot must have always been there – I haven’t updated for TT/HH yet, & I’m having a much greater success rate this way. I’m also playIng on ipad so I don’t know if it’s a platform thing.
@karen68 Apparently we all missed it, even @Rat9 I’ll let you break that humbling news to the rest of the Bloated Pig magnificent seven. :)
I think I see why my old strategy isn’t working. Either they don’t make crates lik they used to, or OB has gained some weight. Before, when he landed on the crate, he’d roll off the right side. Now, he smashes through like it’s cardboard. If I use the same timing, he’s already on the ground when I trigger. That’s too far away to throw the wood blocks with enough force. I was able to get a 1-birder by triggering about a quarter-second earlier, but it’s still nowhere near as easy as it once was. I’m sticking with Stocktoad’s shot.
Nice score @karen68.
What just happened on my last fling was “amazing,” as I was just about to post …… “I’ve since managed another 5k to 167730, which was 53rd on the Leaderboard. I was hoping for Top 50, but oh well, things don’t always work the way I want with these malicious marmosets. There’s still a few hours, so, who knows, maybe I can eke out another 1k or so in points.”
I stopped to think wow, there must have been almost nothing when @bryonjames got his 175770, but because his link was to the wrong level, I went to his album to see if I could find this one. As I waited for my archaic internet connection to load his album & then the appropriate pic, I flung 2 more times & you guessed it, this tentative pseudo-whine worked! My 1st fling didn’t work, but fling # 2 was 169640, an improvement of almost 2k & enough for 30th place. I’m a realist, I’m not delusional; I know I’m an ok or slightly better than average scorer. I don’t expect #1 or Top 10 scores; if I’m in the Top 50, I’m ok … of course I wouldn’t balk at a 170k like yours either ; – )
While I’m generally on an Android phone, this has been on my iPad, but I can’t help but notice there seem to be some very nice PC scores.
All of you iOS/Android users playing the challenge. Did you happen to see any PU gift boxes today? I have a theory that they tend to drop most in the first few days after a Rovio release, and that Pirate thing just came out..
Thanks, everyone; GREAT fun!
My score increased most by using a one-birder (philosophy) – & slightly modifying Kelani’s strategy…..by:
using a high arc (w a near-miss) of the ‘cabin’ (structure on platform supported on “Tugboat’)
& landing on the rt-most horizontal plank/board — which does NOT touch the cabin — but DOES touch the square, darker-by-a-shade box — sitting on a thick plank (about twice the thickness of the previously referenced plank/board___aka *THICK* board).
OK; at this point the OB has crash-landed onto & thru the (relatively, thin) plank (which starts out (|| to supt platform) & being supported by a *THICK* board PERPENDICULAR to the ‘platform (~black/dark-green) — AND has ‘taken out’ the box —– BUT, has left the plank/board on top of the box in one piece — & it’s falling (at an angle-‘supporting’ a WAS-perpendicular-to-platform *THICK* board.
BEFORE OB reaches platform – & all the stuff supported by the board we hope has remained in one piece – AND, as a result of the ‘crash-landing’ – all the supported-yet-falling stuff should be at a handsome angle. When you determine that inflating OB, NOW…. will push/propel enuf junk (backwards, towards the sling) towards the sq concrete block to initiate the critical chaos desired. Hope this ‘writing’ disaster helps! Sorry to drone on & on; &, a snap(s) will follow —- but later….after some health adventures. THX, Best & Cheers, ALL, rogue :-)
Relating to my last comment/post …..
I’m trying this for 1st time …. :-O
Hopefully by clicking on link below, you’ll be able to decipher the ‘positioning’ of the *fist* (drawing back the sling) ==> followed by the resulting arc ….. which yielded higher scores for me :-).

@rldoty Nice job! looks like you figured it out. I guess you’ve noticed the side-by-side screenshot makes it a bit small when viewed in your album. :) I think it’s fine, but next time you create one, you may want to stick one on top of the other, or just upload two separate images, and link to both of them. That way they can be seen (relatively) full-size. :)
Indeed! THX!
Two separate images it is (IF I ever get to another point worth sharing) :-).
Cheers …. rogue
THX everyone! …. with special thanks to Kelani for his help & suggestions; this is really fun stuff …. the comradery also & esp. I’ve been back to this episode several times just because I had a strange feeling that I *might* be able to improve — just a tiny bit (over my 174,840). EeeGadsZooks & whoknew ===> that at one point everything would ‘go right’ AND big chunks of debris would -finally- fall overboard …. & count HEAVILY ==> for a 178,070 at this posting. Sorry for all the GLEE, folks; I’m prob having waaaay too much fun!
Best & Cheers, ALL …. & Happy Thanksgiving! …. rogue :-)
PS. If there is any interest { & maybe if not :-) }, I’ll post snap/pic.
Snap (link below) of 178,070 shows remaining debris :-)

Not sure I follow @kelani ‘s directions correctly; sorry :-(

@rldoty Screenshot looks great to me. Thanks, and nice job! :)
Just a follow-up (‘THANK YOU’ & *DEDICATION*) note to supplement the above ….
This was the first *** ‘trophy’ / temporary 1st place score *** I ever ‘obtained’ —
AND only AFTER endless fun & flinging ….
….. AND all kinds of help & info from so many kind ‘Nest folks’ ….
……….AND HELP FROM
my best & closest friend, ‘helper’ :-) and adviser about AB matters, Stevie
_ Stevie .JPG
{ That’s her – in pic above – …. & the temp trophy / score is dedicated to her :-). }
Tho original posting occurred on Wednesday, 11/26/14 (with 2014 comment in section below). The score actually happened
on Tuesday – in the morning – at 10:55am EST … here, fairly close to Baltimore ….. in MD, USA :-) .
11.25.14_ 10.55am(EST) _ ABs BR 13 _ 178,070 _ .JPG
I was THRILLED { to say the least :-) } …. & shared my delight with Stevie …. who was equally excited ….. tho, in fairness, it has been pointed out that there *might* be a remote, slight possibility that she was mostly quite jubilant about the numerous games of fetch & ‘button-button’ (ALL involving “treats” for her, btw) which ensued immediately after obtaining the temporary 1st place score :-).
SOooo, even tho the ” 1st place ‘Trophy’ ” / score is ‘held’ for but for a relatively brief fleeting moment,
the dedication refers to my/our first-ever high score ….. which was on AB BR # 13 – which – despite my shock & amazement – has ‘held up’ since ~ the 2014 Thanksgiving holiday :-O (grins, too) :).
AND, of course, I DO realize that the ONLY reason(s) that the score has remained in “1st place” is because none of the EXPERTS
{ (a) who have helped me so much along the way OR (b) who I haven’t ‘met’ }
have yet decided to “unseat” us (Stevie & me) / our score …. from 1st place [LOL :) ].
SOooo, THANKS so very much, everyone { esp. @kelani , @bernersenn , @crivit , @kathy , @hunnybunny , @rat9 , @sweetp , @stevenellie , @fenikus, et al !!! }
These past few weeks have been incredibly difficult for me …. and everyone’s kindness has been beyond wonderful.
Again, my very Best & Cheers – to ALL :-) …… Rogue
This is another level where I think getting above average requires a 1-bird clear. I’m slowing increasing my 2-bird score (currently 150K) but I’m nowhere near average.
Ok, I stand corrected but only just. I’ve managed 160440 which is just a few short of average with two birds. Still no 1-bird clear.
168370/1
