Our strategy for Beach Volley level 5-7 is to fire the first Red bird downward into the sand blocks in the bottom-left. With a similar trajectory, launch Blu & Jewel through the bottom of the level, clearing everything except for two marmosets on the far right. Use the two Red bird as needed to clear them as well. The score in the video below is 82,310.

Issue with Angry Birds 2 and windows
aim for the 2 vertical wooden planks at the bottom of the first tower. If you hit it right it will go through and collapse the 2nd and 3rd tower and kill everything except the last tower and monkey. so far max is 105k but sure it can go higher
113290 with your method, so thanks !
First bird is a fairly straight shot, you actually need to aim (on iPad) like on pixel downward(so move your thumb up 1px).
Second bird, you need to go low also to get the most debris possible. The more you get with 1st bird, the easier job you’ll have to go low with blue bird.
I did one bird it for about 109k also. I guess this one will go higher with time, possibly with 3 birds.
i got 109000 with three birds left so im guessing with a bit more destruction u can get over 125000
I find it’s not so much I’m aiming for the vertical planks, it’s that I’m aiming for the gap between the planks and the horizontal one sitting atop them. Know what I mean?
@rocklands, although my score isn’t anywhere near yours, your strat certainly aided in raising my old score by 14k, so thank you very much and keep up the great work. Happy Hunting!
Managed to raise it by another 4k.
Nice. Was able to do this with 1 bird using your method. Looks like 2 bird minimum to get a higher score with more destruction. Will keep working…
Thanks so much for the method @rocklands, improved by 13k and still more points to come
same first shot like @rocklands thx
send bird to the two vertical wooden planks on left tower
second bird low and activate to fly to the monkeys and debris
@c_wiz thx for the second bird
here a video with 119k:
https://youtu.be/dH5oUIbTRjc
Used the same two bird strategy thanks @rocklands. Had two monkeys remaining on the right side that were taken out with the second bird.
Got 103310 on second try. Thanks.
Hi Manu, did you have a 1 bird solution, or are you going in low with blu or going long?
I did it in one bird by shooting it low and everything fell, but manu got lucky and got some more destruction but i believe its possible to get over 125000.
thanks also got 1 bird finish for 108k, but don’t think it’s a repeatable shot
i got 109 i guess its just luck
I did it using two birds. The second bird manage to do more damage than usual by ending its course just under the tower.
I did the same As @eweber following @rocklands initial first shot strat. coming back today for the COD I forgot I gotten such a good score. I cannot remember what the shot looked like though! I have today however had two one birders but for only about 105k.
I shot the first bird on the 1st horizontal plank holding the melons. This took out the entire left part of the level. Finish off the remaining monkeys with blu and jewel.
Thanks blah! 78800….how the heck theze guys are scoring inthe hundred k’s is beyond me…lol I thought I was in the wrong walkthrough. Ty:)
Got mine like rockland describes…I Hate that bb…it has a mind of it’s own, lol…I got the first shot several times but kept mucking up the last shot as the bb did not want to cooperate…finally did though…I’ll take what I got and move on!
Hi @lesleyg, same thing happened to me several times, so I exited the Rio game, waited about 30 minutes then went back in and got my present score on the first try, not as good as yours obviously, but at least I’m not at 89k as I was before. Happy Hunting!
I just got my first 1-Birder, but the score was only 100940.
@werewolf69 – yes..I too had very disappointing one birdie scores! I’m glad you improved your score ;-) I didn’t get a chance to play this Challenge level yesterday but looking back on the level, that’s ok…it wasn’t one of my favorites…btw…Thanks for sending me a friend request, I really thought we already were, lol ;-)))
@lesleyg, you’re welcome and yes, we were but I had an accidental deletion of all my friends, working on undoing the damage now. BTW, I went up another 4k on this level, I’m trying to at least get close to the score Guru here at ABN. Happy Hunting!
actually its quite easy to get over 100k or even 110k. 1st shot a little above the 2 vertical wooden planks, this will always work if aimed correctly!
If the coconuts don’t drop down (one or two have to stick out above the structure where the 3 melons used to be on top) u can shoot right through them with blue when the lazy bird is in front. This will grant you the extra 5 or 10k of course ;)
My score of 119k just includes one popped coconut so the earlier mentioned 125k is definitely possible!
Hi @crivit …not sure if you’ll see this post 17 months later, but I’ll give it a shot anyway :) Are you saying that activated Blu & Jewel have more penetrating power in general when Blu hits the structure first? That would be a revelation useful in all levels that have them, for sure!
Well, I took a little bit of everyone’s methods here :). @rocklands first shot and had around 60k after that. I used @c_wiz suggestion and kept the shot just about horizontal, and it went through the two spaced vertical pieces like a hot knife through butter :). The sand under the second crate from the left was destroyed and got the domino effect that @sal9 described. I still had the two right marmosets left. Blue birds got first one and used third bird to finish last one. Those blue birds annoy me almost as much as the green boomerang bird! If I could either get that second to last marmoset on the right with the first shot, or the last two marmosets with the blue birds, I know my score would be at least 110k. So far, not happening.
A big thank you to everyone who posted suggestions and tips here, I improved my score from 83k to 105k.
I just improved my score a bit finally…from 95860 to 102740 by repeating same technique…it just decides when it wants to cooperate, lol. When you aim first bird at the top of the two thin planks there at the bottom left, it sometimes decides to cut through sand as mentioned above..if it doesn’t then you must obviously reset. Then if you send bb’s over just missing middle debris pile, it helps if you tap him when the slower, weaker bb is in front and it cuts through last two monkeys better, so two birds for my score and much more room for improvement!
Here’s what I have learned about this level:
1. Use @rocklands strategy.
2.If you are wanting a score higher than 100k, you want your first shot to be over 60k. I had 70k on the first shot right before I came here to post this.
3.The key to the Jewel and Blu is: Let them complete one rotation, leaving Jewel in the front. This gives them more momentum when carrying through the remaining debris.
I started out with 92,200 on this one and improved to my current score using these tips. I will keep trying for a higher score, but I’m kind of afraid to take @eweber‘s top score, due to his “non-human superpowers” as roughly quoted by Slim!
break some coconuts with ur strat and you’ll get it dude
that’s it @crivit ! I forgot how I got so close to manu. I sent Jewel and Blu right through the two coconuts that were sitting pretty on top of the center pile. That really is the key to a great score.
Man!! At 5k a pop, those are some expensive coconuts.
thanky @rdnzlrips82! (I prefer @ripsy) this was very helpful indeed. @rocklands strat great for first shot, think my current high had a first shot of 75k or slightly less. I detest using Jewel/Blu, but your advice here helped tremendously, managed to cut through more debris this way. There’s more to wring out of the level so I’m back to practicing the blues :D
@rdnzlrips82 Thanks Ripsy for the tips. With a score of 60k after the 1st shot, is that with 1 or 2 marmosts left? I’m typically getting around 55k but with 2 left.
Also, for Blu & Jewel, are you talking about activating them when Jewel is in front? Seems like Blu ends up leading the way no matter who is in front when activated. Sorry for the dumb question, but I’ve never really gotten the hang of those two.
Congrats on the score – did you manage to get either of the coconuts? They must be diamond-crusted or something, I tend to just knock them around, they’re so hard to destroy.
My improved score was actually the first fling on this level last night. All of my >110k scores have had the coconuts fall to the ground. I had a first shot of 79k earlier with far right marmoset remaining.
Also, you can use Blu to bump some debris and still activate Jewel’s flying. And yes, Jewel needs to be in front. Or if you want, make sure she is on top and activate as she is coming down.
for the ppl that hate this level for the hard first shot here’s a screenshot of mine,
it always works, guaranteed. I use 1440X900 resolution on this level.
https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/crivit/album/picture/472/
Don’t know the resolution of my crappy cracked old HTC phone with 3″ screen, but:
fully zoomed in get the sling perfectly flat, then move the point DOWN, i.e., trajectory UP, until the aliasing (jaggies) clicks twice to the right, just before the center point of the sling.
object is to go through the two planks getting a little “rovio physics” burst and cut through the sand down under the big crate. When you hit it, you know! If you are already over 110K with your high score, watch for the one-birder, a second blue into the middle can get >10K so can be worth it! I think I’ve busted a coconut once, the rest of that fling was kinda blah.
I cannot stress enough in this level to be patient and wait longer than you think you need to see if the structure on the far right will topple, even if there seems to be no more momentum. Wait sometimes even after the screen resets and sends you back to your next bird.
@lorendajamesao — Welcome to the nest! Hope to see you around more. Do stop by the Bloated Pig in the Forum, and check out the groups (under Community).
Okay nesters, I need some help with this Blu & Jewel thing please?
I think Blu is the bird with the Mohican that hops on the sling, Jewel is the bird that’s left hanging, and Blu I’m assuming is the stronger bird….right?
Okay, so where do you aim Blu initially please? At which point do you tap the screen please? And which bird should be leading when you do tap the screen please?
I’ve tried tapping with Blu up-front, and with Jewel up-front, but I just can’t get them to land anywhere near that last tower, and I’m getting extremely annoyed because that little monkey at the end keeps looking at me as if to say, “haha, you’re stupid cuz you can’t control that duo”…argh, lol. ;)
@leggy Jewel is the one in the sling. Blu dangles.
As an added tip for everyone:
Blu can bump debris and you can still activate Jewel. I just used it for a 113k score.
Great tip @rdnzirips82 !! Correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems to me that this is the only bird that has the ability to hit something and still be activated before Star Wars where all the birds have it.
I am pretty sure you are right. I usually use it to get the wood block that usually sits on the crate on the right. This tips it into the pile of debris in the middle.
@rdnzlrips82 – well I guess that answers some of my questions, thanks! Still can’t get that pesky monkey with just 2 shots though, lol ;)
Hmmmmmmm…….@leggy Are you sure you are getting the first shot right? You should have somewhere around 60,000 points and the way to that last pesky marmoset should be almost clear. Sometimes the second to last marmoset is still there, but you can’t really worry about that one. I expect the really high scores all started with a first shot around 70,000. As for where to tap for Blu and Jewel, unless you are trying for a really high score, don’t worry about which one is where. Instead…… see the blue part of the water? Tap when the birds are somewhere between the middle of the blue and 3/4 of the way up the blue part of the water (whichever way they are facing). If there is not much rubble in the way, tap on the low side. More rubble, tap more on the high side. Good luck. Follow this method and you should at least be able to get above average.
@Stocktoad – first shot through the two verticals/monkey/sand blocks taking out towers 1, 2 & 3…resulting score is ranging from 55-65k, even had a 74k…not really a clear path for second shot though, so I’ve been trying every angle possible with b&j, but i just can’t get them to nudge that last tower/monkey.
I will try your blue water tip :) thanks! Back soon…..
Woohoo @Stocktoad – I just beat the avg score barrier; and not before time cuz my battery is getting rather low. Thanks for the additional tips, a bit of practise made for the results I’ve been seeking ALL day. :))))) Thank you! thank you! thank you!
Nice shooting @leggy!!!!!!!!
Thanks @Stocktoad – that was one pesky level, lol. :)
I still don’t get it with this/these birds, but managed to raise my score a little. Am frustrated with the two blues as I call them. Congrats on your score!!! :-)
Thanks! and me neither if I’m honest @spurs01 – just kept at it and hoped that the ‘L’ factor would kick in somewhere along the way, and it did, eventually. Well done btw on improving your score. ;)
I understand this level is confusing for the use of the blue bird because its the only level where the lazy bird forwards does the most damage, just aim it more than straight depending on debris sticking out of the sand
i’m sure it’s been discussed, but my best first shot thru the 2 vertical planks, —when it’s just right— , creates a 2-sand-block-wide path to the ground going underneath the near tall tower. Much collapsing ensues. 63,000 or so if i remember right after first bird….
my 109,880 was a 2-birder fyi
@spurs01 I was the same as you frustrated at those blue birds until I got lucky. Just a quick tip, when I got my 116k I had almost everything up to the beginning of those 6 glass blocks where that next to last marmoset is. I was throwing the blue birds almost same trajectory of the first shot and activating almost slingshot level as I approached the first bit of debris but on the shot that gave me the my score did a slightly higher arc and they came out of the arc almost right before that second to last marmoset and they took out that last tower and pretty much all the sand blocks. The last tower toppled into the pit where the glass/ice blocks are. Hope that helps. Oh and I had over 70k on the first shot I believe.
