Angry Birds Rio Beach Volley Walkthrough Level 2 (5-2)

The best strategy for Beach Volley level 5-2 is to lob Blu & Jewel to fly through the top-middle marmoset and into the right structure. Launch the Yellow bird through the top of the first tower and into the middle, and use the Red birds as necessary to clear the level. The score in the video below is 82,600.

Blue- birds straight through second step takes out first 2 towers. Yellow bird for third. 2 birds, 101,350. Could be higher if you also get dynamite.

Another trick is aim bluebird down toward umbrella. let is bounce off slightly and can take out most of 3 structures. 98660

Just keep aiming the bluebird right around the level of the second horizontal piece up from the sand, the one with the grass growing on it, and sometimes it goes all the way through and causes the third tower to fall forward and take out any marmosets that you missed (usually the second one in). This works quite often, but most of the time the very back, lowest marmoset survives, so you have to take him out with the yellow bird, but occasionally you get them all. I’m partial to one-bird solutions. Make sure that you tap the bluebird as soon as you launch it so that it’s going straight when it hits the first tower; if there’s any “spin” left it won’t make it through. My top score so far is 100,870 with this method, but there’s room for improvement.

I shot the 1st bird just under the 1st monkey. The 1st 2 towers came down. Finish off the last tower with the yellow bird.

If you get the blue bird just right (ie just above the umbrella) it takes out all three towers for a one birder. Scored me 99510. Could be a lot more though as there was plenty of debris left. One random block detonated the TNT and, completely bizarrely, a large box on a long chain came swinging through the screen. No idea whatseover where it came from. Weird.

Thanks for the vid, @misterparon — got 111,990 following it! What’s interesting is that in this level it pays off to activate Blu & Jewel early and not at the last moment before impact…which is what I was trying to do before seeing your vid. BTW, I don’t believe TNT blew up since the big crate on a chain didn’t magically come down from the sky…

I’m still trying just above straight shot accelerate just over the umbrella its giving 100+ scores regularly I once hit that far monkey directly and major damage but only 106k. With my best effort of 108k I got the same collission as in misterparons vid but got 3 pieces of wood on the tnt with it not exploding missing the 110k+

I’m interested that there isn’t more comment here about the swinging crate that appears when the TNT explodes. I stress that I haven’t achieved this yet, but there seems massive potential for damage by eg lobbing the bluebirds to take out the top of the third tower toppling it onto the TNT then using the yellow bird to drop the crate onto the remaining structure. I’m going to keep trying this but I wonder if anybody else has worked on this?

I just scored 122,680 points using the same shot as in the @misterparon video. The same shot, over & over, hundreds of times. My previous high was 108,100. This time, the blu-birds cut right through and would have hit the TNT if not for the inner tube in front of the umbrella. In my screenshot you can see the trajectory the birds took.
