One strategy for Angry Birds Red’s Mighty Feathers level 24-11 is to throw the Black bird into one of the lower bubbles. The bubble will lift him to the bridge above where, upon detonation, wheels will scatter the level and cause a wave of destruction. The score in the video below is 76,780.
If you have a different strategy for completing this level feel free to leave a comment below.
Interesting to know if the 83k used the bomb in the bubble strategy.
I used it to get 80K. The secret is to have the bubble hit the center of the bridge not the left. Its tricky, but if you catch the bubble at the last instance, it can be done. That triangle makes it difficult and I only get it about one in ten tries.
Thanks for that one @birdmeister. Are you then saying that you think 83k is a one bird solution?
I can’t speculate. But I know that the position of the bubble makes a big difference than first appearances. The video hits the left side for a lesser score than I consistently achieve.
You cranked my score up by 3000 and I appreciate that help.
Enough of that, I don’t want you beating me. I spent a lot of time getting that level.
I agree @birdmeister with hitting the center of the bridge, not to the left but would add not to the right also. Did it all three ways and the center yielded greater destruction and as a result more points.
Aiming tip: zoom in, activate the game, manually move the screen to the right, line up the bottom of the Bomb Bird with the top of the hill in the background and fling the BB. Most of the time BB will catch the bubble and hit near the center.
If one zooms out, a count of “4” can produce similar results.
Tired to get the upper bubble machine to fall through the openings to obtain more points but it would wedge each time.
Wrw01, Thank you for your valuable input on your aiming tips, it helped me to score over 80 K with 1 bird!
To add to wrw01 aiming tips:
For the best outcome, be zoomed in (things are larger) and follow wrw01 aiming tips.
When pulling down BB to line up bottom to top of the hill, put bottom right over the bunch of grass at the very top. Great reference point to get BB lined up quickly.
I found the best (small) window of time to launch BB is when you first see the bubble just starting to peep out of the bubble machine until the split second it’s fully released bubble. If you release BB to soon or to late you can miss “The Bubble Train”. (After a few hundred flings, one will usually get the feel of the bubble timing.)
For over 80k you usually will need the far right TNT to explode and the upper level bubble machine to fall, just keep repeating until all the stars and planets line up just right, it just takes the three “P’s”.
Thanks @birdMeister for the tip on aiming for the bubble. It took a bit of practice, but finally got it to the middle of the plank. After the dust settled, got a decent score!
Sorry guys, I didn’t realise I had the top score until I got the email just now informing me that it had been beaten. If I had have known or someone had tagged me in here then I would have gladly helped out. It’s been more than a month now and I wouldn’t have spent more than 5 minutes on this level originally, so I’ll do my best to recall how this score was achieved.
My score was definitely a 1-birder. I never tried the ‘bomb in the bubble’ strategy as my initial solution was generating above average scores before my eventual 83k bonanza. My strategy was to send the bomb bird over the bubble dispenser on the top left of the level. The timing of your shot between the bubbles is important and if this arc is too high, you’ll end up entrapped inside the bubble every time. My high score was achieved by making glancing contact with either the very top or the very far end of that machine. The bomb bird carried on and I guess ended up to the left of the three barrels on top of that big pig before detonating. The debris from that explosion took out the two pigs on the right of the level and probably the small pig down below as well as creating above-average amounts of damage. The main factor that set this score apart from others is that everything above the large pig was destroyed in the explosion and the horizontal block of wood was damaged, now the slight contact I made with that bubble dispenser caused it to tumble down to the right and subsequently break through the horizontal wood, crashing to the ground below and gaining me extra points.
The bubble is your friend! I got so used to dodging the bubbles on other levels that it took me a long time to figure this level out.
different one-birder…throw bb high arc over the bubble machine top left…let it fall and mauaaly explode it on the down…key is to break the left horizontal wooden plank…
Interesting Level!! I followed video, black bird on a gentle arc, to catch a bubble up!! One Bird. 77.6k
Did try the up and over bet, but didn’t fare to well!!
I tried an easier shot with some success (not much timing involved, just luck…).
Wait half a second and fling the bird near the top of the top bubble machine.
Here is the trajectory: http://oi59.tinypic.com/2eeli8j.jpg
Then, if you end up like this: http://oi58.tinypic.com/5bcked.jpg
you could hope for a good score.
Here is the result for my highest score:

Hope it helps.
After a thousand or so flings, I got a great score using the ABN video strategy.
Getting the bubble machine at top left to fall through the opening to the ground is key to high scores. This time it fell straight through the opening without even touching the edges. Never seen that before. I took a screenshot before the score screen popped up:

Ok I used a two bird approach for the daily challenge which proved very successful :-) First bird to the top left over the bubble dispenser (avoid them). I left the bird to explode on it’s own and the explosion destroyed the right hand side completely. What remained was only the left top shelf with the pig on it. Sent the red bird from below and redirected it to the wood; everything was taken out and the destruction on the ground was almost complete.
Will post picture proof asap.
Wow – that is phenomenal @steely59. I’ve made that same first shot lots of times looking for a one-birder, and always reset when it failed. I never imagined a high score was possible with 2 birds, let alone a score to beat the top score and win the challenge. Amazing. Congrats on the puppy!! I think I’ll give up now lol….:))
Thanks @peejaydee27, never thought it would work either. I just threw the second bird for fun since I was tired of making the same first shot over and over again. Imagine my surprise when the counter kept on going:-)

@steely59
Top Score, Congrats for the score and puppy.
Is Not my Day today.
Good strat.
Thank you @comex666! Even the master can have a bad day I guess ;-)
Thank you @steely59 for the strat and screenshot, and congrats on your puppy!
Phenomenal @steely59! I only got BB over the top bubble blower one time and did not get those results. Most of the time he gets sucked up by a bubble or falters and hits to the left of the machine. Congrats on the Trophy and new puppy well deserved. I did manage to get almost 800 pts today, but still under average. Red’s Mighty Feathers is not my forte but it is fun to play anyway.
@steely59 Congrats on terrific puppy score !!!! … I do have a question … what platform & device did you use for that puppy score?
I started Challenge with 81720 on iPad scored perhaps a week after Rovio’s release & haven’t even come close durning last 23 hours …. I’m just wondering, so pls don’t take this the wrong way, as I mean no disrespect.
Thank you @gypsybird, a very lucky shot indeed!
Thanks @justpast40, appreciate it! I play on an Iphone 6plus, ios 8-2. No offence taken at all
Thank you @steely59. The one bird solution with the bubble scenario doesn’t seem to work for me. That’s why, I decided to try again and again with your strategy and it worked. How surprising to see that I beat your own score.
Congrats @cedlanz, well done!
A LOT of great scores in here compared to mine. it is nearly impossible to 3-star this level with two birds, and I cannot get that bubble to move back to the right so I couldn’t get the 1 birda.
first shot like video, if you don’t break 39K you aint gonna 3-star. Hopefully you disable the top bubble thrower.
If you 39+ and the to bubble machine is out of the way, loft 2ndbird over the hill and put him through the glass. you can do it avoiding the top bubbles if you have 39+, but easier to not be dodging …
These levels that require a very specific shot are always a pain. Just had to put that out there…hoping the whine factor will come into play.
C’mon, really? 76’900 – 41 points off of the average. Ugh. I’ve been playing this level for days.
Finally! I am never playing this level again,,,(I hope).
I am just now getting around to Red’s Mighty Feathers, and I have been trying these levels without watching the videos first. I usually end up using the videos to finally get a score I can live with, but this time I threw the BB over the bubble maker and seeing promising results after the first few flings…stuck with it. I timed BB to miss the bubbles and arced him high to go as far as possible and let him explode on his own. I was very surprised to see my ranking when I went to enter my score.

This got me 81k. Very easy really and I’m sure it has been mentioned before. I did it on an old Mac version of AB. Trouble is I’m not sure if it will still work on more modern ones. I did try it on iOS but couldn’t quite get the bomb bird to lift to the left, which is needed to blow the top TNT with the glass.

The mechanics of this level was subtly changed such that the “bomb in the bubble” strategy no longer gives high scores: the original video shows that the bubble snatches the bomb upon contact and then they travel straight upwards, whereas now the bomb-bubble combo retains the bomb’s inertia and carries on to the right, thus it cannot hit the left side of the plank.
The @steely59 strategy works like charm.

Whoaa! What’s going on here. This has suddenly decided to become a self collapsing level. The stuff between the two left hand floating islands all falls down. This allows bomb bird to be used to destroy the top left hand bubble machine, flinging debris to the right and taking out the top right hand pig and remaining TGTs. Don’t think a 0 birder could happen.
I am using version 7.0.2 but I must stress, this has never happened before to me. The collapse is 100% guaranteed.

Refined approach to thread bomb bird past the bubble machine and bounce off the springy arm to gat close enough to the TNT on the right to set it off. Can get destruction in all directions and I think there may be even more in this.
Not seeing any kind of self collapse, much less one advertised as 100% guaranteed.
Interesting. Especially as I now have three levels self-collapsing in Red’s Mighty Feathers, all in Version 4.2.0 running under Nox. Maybe it’s something to do with emulators. Still investigating.
