We announced last week that the Angry Birds would be partnering with Finnish Formula One racer Heikki Kovalainen in a brand new web-based app scheduled to launch in mid-June. Today, it seems we have a little preview of this app courtesy of the Lotus F1 Team — an official “Angry Partner”. These levels are only available on Facebook, but you don’t need to “Like” anything if you don’t want to — though it wouldn’t hurt to throw the Lotus Team a bone if you enjoy the levels!
To play, simply head over to the Lotus F1 Team Facebook Page and click on the “Angry Birds” icon (The Lotus Team was even nice enough to include an arrow to help direct you, for the not-so-Facebook-savvy.). There are three very fun levels included in this mini-game, one of which is quite challenging.

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! PLEASE ROVIO…..STOP with the web based games. I beg you… You’ve already got the know how to make your product on so many platforms, please stop your web based games (Volcano, pistachio, etc…) and simply release them as an app for platforms….

Just so you know, it’s not working on a mobile device. Since I’m in Vegas, I’m on my Xoom instead of my PC, so it isn’t coming up for me.

They published three “teaser” levels on Facebook. But the web app itself, when released, should be separate.
F-1 Racing appears to be a good theme for a new AB games. Played the 3 games and they are fun.
I wish the Icebomb Bird was actually in this game…
These levels are so easy. I 3-stared them in the past 5 minutes.

Oh Oh! I must be doing something wrong. I played these levels some this morning, and went back just now. My scores have totally disappeared!!! Is there a way to save them?

Yeah, I’m not sure there is a way. If someone knows let us know and we’ll add it to the post above.
It would not technically be saving your score but if you want to keep a record and prove you achieved a particular score, you could take a screen shot and post it in your Album here at ABN.
I was signed in to Facebook, 3 starred all 3 levels yesterday, but my scores were not saved.
Oh NO! I did three stars last night (last one was a killer).. Now I will have to do it again?? Yeesh..
No need to do it again, since it cannot be saved. If you do it again today, you’ll have to do it again tomorrow. And the day after tomorrow. And so on…
But I can screen cap it with three..
AngryBirds replied to tweet saying that game doesn’t save scores; do a screenshot instead. : ( Seems to me Lotus got the cut-rate special!

IS the ice bird presence in the level select screen is somehow related to the F1 racer kimi raikkonen who is also known as ICEMAN
I would guess so, as Kimi is a lotus driver. It’s also an advert for space, so it serves a two-in-one purpose :)

It might have been a long time since they were removed; however, I have newly realized that they have gone as I had never visited Lotus F1 Team Facebook page after I 3-starred all three levels.
