174230/3 by using these two shots and a third to clean up. more precisely
1st) straight to (the lower side) of the wood top-right of the pig. let it settle and expand on its own. should set cart in motion.
2nd) high lob to grab both the tower and the big boulder (and other stuff);
3rd) low arc to the debris left over on the right (left of the cart).

was playing for this strategy as the 1st may send the small stone toward the wooden structure on the top-far-right; rare but does happen, but in my case never causing more than one stack of blocks (either left or right) to collapse for, say, 10k damage (more often the sign falls down which i was unable to take advantage of; managed a few times to lift the sign with the pink bird and have it bump into the top-far-right structure but gave up on that as i couldn’t make it do serious damage). if the 2nd takes out the last pig (the usual scenario), i send the 3rd as soon as the 2nd starts lifting material to go underneath that in order to avoid the level timing out. also the 3rd may inflict damage to the top-far-right structure, but my best score was obtained without it.

Just looking for other strategies here and while I typically get where you are going for, I have read this like 50 times and I’m still not sure which pigs you are going for. That sentence for the first bird just doesn’t add up for me. And when going for the tower, not sure what boulder you are going for, as the only boulder in this level is on the bottom. Not trying to be insulting, don’t get me wrong, but this is probably the first time where I just don’t see it.

sorry to be unclear @pointdexter5, but since you do not specify what is unclear (and of course i did not intend it to be unclear) i have to guess what it is you find unclear. as i wrote, i followed @terribletom ‘s strategy (which incidentally is the video strategy) refining and adapting it as follows:
– the idea of the 1st bird is to try to eject the small stone to the top-far-right structure; to enable that i was sending the 1st to the wood slight above and to the right of the leftmost pig (i think that the pig is uniquely determined by the description `wood with pig in it’), to destroy that wood and to let the stone fall onto the bird before the latter expands. this is exactly what happens in the video, but there the stone misses the structure. here’s a picture of a successful attempt, in action, which shortly after made the right stack of wood fall down (this is not frequent but worth playing for i think):

– the idea for the 2nd bird was to clear the path (to the debris on the right) for the 3rd by lifting the tower; to that end the bird should end up more to the right than in the video and often a high lob to just left of the tower achieves that goal; a secondary goal is to get as much destruction as possible out of it, so in particular you like the bird to end up low to lift, among other debris, the big boulder (which also is uniquely determined and indeed is the one at the bottom; you don’t want the bird to end up too low though as then the tower will not be lifted). that’s not always possible but often it is, possibly by sending it through some beachballs.

hope this clarifies things. it’s not always easy to strike a balance between being concise and precise.

I sent orange bird in a high arc to land on top of the pile, hopefully burrowing down before it expands. Result can be a dramatic tossing of the pile in all directions, and the cart heading down the slope to destruction. Used the other birds to clean up / grab extra points depending on result of first shot.

I kept wanting the first shot to send debris over to the wooden structure on the top right, but all I ever got was a minor bump by an ice ball. I can see a much higher score possible if the structure is hit with more debris. My high so far is 161k, which included the sign being taken out. I enjoyed watching the pile fly and want to come back and try some more to nail that wooden structure, especially if anyone reports it happening!

same strat I came up with. hitting the top middle pig seems to yield much better destruction for the first bird sice it usually burrows a bit there

For 164k. First 45 deg just hitting the top of the plank by the ball and falling into the pack. With luck it will expand enough to throw out some debris which will bring the sign down and destroy all. Depending on score of course but I think it wise to use Stella at this point to pick up as much debris as possible.

High arc, hit the pig just right of the rubber duck and then through the beach ball and the little pig before inflation. Then send the second bird into the middle of the remaining pile even if all pigs are gone for extra points. 172k.

There are over 160K points possible without bonus. I managed to get 159K with all three and there were still some undamaged debris. Makes sense to use at least two birds and maybe three.

You are correct birdmeister that two and EVEN 3 birds is way to go i had 145k with a pig and a tiny pile left and got lucky and had the pile hit a balloon on the sign wiling out a pile of stone laying on the ground 171,980 and you say 6-8k left after 161 well i still had at least that left after a 3 bird 171k so maybe some debris flew off your screen by the way my first bird strat was the same as f91jsw

I absolutely agree with you @birdmeister ! I used all three birds to get my current top score of 182280. I had almost compete destruction of the bottom structure with only few peaces of junk left, and also school sign fell down and got destroyed for additional points. I could not believe my eyes when I saw my final score!

3 bird strat that got me 186k

First bird flat arch, hitting the ice on the upper left and the bird settling down at the pig on the upper right. Expansion caused the cart to roll right.
While cart is still moving quickly fling the next 2 birds.
Second bird on a high arch to land on the right side taking out the stone/concrete stuff over there.
Third bird to lower left side like other have described as the first shot.

The key to my high score (for the time being) is an object (don’t remember what it was) popped the left balloon and the School sign came down and did more damage.

great score. looking at your screenshot it’s clear that apart from great destruction in the middle also part of the school on the right was destroyed, which i think is key for getting a 180k+ score. therefore, was playing the 1st in the same way as you did, to the lower side of the long horizontal glass on top, but then manually expanding it while falling down when next to the triangular stone, in order to send that to the far right to make the right part of the school collapse (not frequent, but doable, say 1 in 25; much better in any case then using the small stone as in my comment above):, hoping for something like this (less frequent again that the school sign drops and the cart rolls to the right unhindered by that):

i followed it up by the two shots you mention, a high arc to the right (unfortunately i overshot it a bit and got only 7k more destruction, but more importantly didn’t manage to take out the right side (support) of the tower), followed by a low arc toward the small glass ball (unfortunately the bird expanded mostly to the left and part of the tower remained upright), for a 180810 final score. with luck 190k certainly possible.

Similar strat for me. The first shot differed in that I did a shallow arc under the glass plank and let it settle in. Second and third shot was similar to the @sparty83 strat. However, my 180K score centered on near total destruction of the main structure. The sign and school didn’t figure in on this one. That surprised me, as I didn’t think a score this high was doable without bringing the sign down or plowing it into the school.

I have been using the 3 bird strategy described by @sparty83 and refined by @vuelva.

So here is the trajectory of the first bird.

Manual expansion to send the triangle stone to the topright structure.

Then the second bird trajectory which is nothing special.

And the third bird result for my 190k score.
Some debris brought down the school sign which made a lot of damages.

Has anybody had any luck getting good damage by picking up the School sign with Stella? I’ve gotten some good damage, but nothing I could incorporate into a successful strat.

3 shots clearing from left to right

1st: Slightly up to go through pigs ears and let it activate on its own (best results are when orange ends up in the gap on top of the wooden triangle)

2nd: Same trajectory – grab as much as you can

3rd: slightly lower trajectory (often through furthest hollow wood square) and activate if near debris
