Angry Birds Bird Island Level 31-2 Walkthrough

Welcome to our walkthrough for Bird Island Level 2.  The video below nets us 104230 for 3 stars using two birds.

First we send Red in a low arc to the upper structure toppling it right, setting off the TNT and decimating the right side.  With a well-placed shot, Red rolls back and ignites the TNT, clearing the cave below. Then Matilda takes a lower arc, bombing the hollow stone block and toppling the left structure, killing the final pigs.

One birder. Essentially the same shot as the first in the video, but the other 2 pigs rolled over and popped.

108k with one bird. Same as video but the left structure fell over completely. No idea how or why, just keep trying. It is possible.

Placement on the first shot is important. Hit that thick wooden block head-on, just like in the video.

Just trying to get a score to beat @mighty-red-1 ‘s great video score and after lots of r&r finally got a nice one-birder hitting that same horizontal wood block. I found that while a piece of falling stone will set off the bottom tnt, you need little red to set it off to get good destruction and a high score with either one or two birds.

Also want to take a moment to echo comments I’ve read elsewhere about how great @mighty-red-1 ‘s videos are – a real talent at showing how to get a good score, not just three stars. Thanks!

Thanks for posting the tip with the red bird. The best score for me is in the 105k range. Cannot seem to get into the 60-70k range with the first bird.

Dear all,

I guess only pros are flinging at this stage since reaching average is getting tougher and tougher.

Good job, mates!

No kidding. These levels have become “fling, swear, repeat” efforts.

110280/2. playing the 1st as in the video, in my experience the best way to get good destruction at the bottom (especially the left part), is to make the two small stones both fall down, on the tnt. to that end it helps when the structure on top acts as a kind chute/does not collapse immediately, which can be achieved by sending the bird rather low onto the wooden block (i launch the 1st with the top feather touching the edge/transition in the background (fully zoomed in; one-but-last dot of its trail should be somewhere in between the two leaves in the background). drawback of this is that the structure on top then usually stays that way (always thus far for me, but 115k+ scores reachable otherwise). also for this score it didn’t collapse after the 1st, but i had already had a 74k score, so sent the 2nd a bit lower than in the video, activating it above the debris, letting the carcass release the structure on top, for 90k destruction.

in summary, decent scores (110k+) also possible with 2 birds, but i think the best scores (115k+) are with 1 bird.

That top score should be beaten… Same strat, 1 B. Red bird back on TNT (like video) doesn’t bring down left structure. But some debris (wooden plank, little stone) will eventually do.
trajectory… without score (sorry…)
