The strategy for Hammerfest Level 3, Two Finger Scrolling, is to drop the treasure chest with your first cut. Scroll so that both the giant hammer and the icy nail are in the frame. Cut both the ice and the hammer’s rope with a single slice, then cut the rope on the left side while the Viking is swinging to get him into the boat. To earn par, forget about the treasure chest and complete the hammer-and-nail trick with only 2 cuts.

Seems like it’s impossible to do both hammer an needle in one swipe on the smaller screen of an iphone 4.
Is it possible to make par on iphone 4??
So, i spoke to the supportteam over at Rovio about this issue. They told me that: yes it is very much possible to make par on the iphone 4. You just have to cut the iceneedle first, then scroll right and when the Viking is at the right place cut both the ropes of the needle and hammer. Hope this helps!

Did this one with two cuts:
1. Center the screen so that all ropes and iceberg are visible
2. Starting on right, align the cut so it goes through the right rope, center rope, and iceberg
3. Starting at the top where the chest is, align the cut through the small rope and into the swinging rope of the iceberg and have the chest drop and iceberg drop into the boat. The hammer swinging viking will do the rest to provide par and the bonus coins.
