Angry Birds Short Fuse Level 26-13 Walkthrough

One strategy for Angry Birds Short Fuse level 26-13 is to release the top structure using a Blue bird. The falling potions should render the main tower unstable, allowing an easy finish by bombing what remains with a White bird. The score in the video below is 99,930.

If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments, as that's what the leaderboards are for.

Just followed the video but both potions hit bottom at same time causing mass explosion. More points still on ground.

easy? EASY? You guys can use the word EASY in a description of this level? actually laughed out loud on that. still only barely making one star on this level. the stupid bottles refuse to break right

Take a chill pill Jack. “EASY” is not used anywhere in these strategies. If you follow the video you can get this. Just lay the blue bird right up close on top and it will happen. If not then go with @furfeather on the two bird technique. Oh, and laughing out loud when playing Angry Birds is a good thing.

In Jack’s defense, something is wonky here. I’m doing very well in other levels but can’t get above one star here. Breaking all three pieces of glass so the right tower topples but NOT releasing the wood on left or concrete on right which kills the pig below before the potions work on it – so far has been impossible for me. So, I’m getting his frustration as this level alone has taken more time than all others COMBINED.

Can I have a couple of those chill pills please @MikeinMont because I’ve landed the blue birds a thousand times, broken the glass, had the little wood land on the potion BUT the potion doesn’t fall until another piece of debris has already destroyed the bottom pig. Used Furfeather’s strat to obtain 3 stars with a pretty low score but this is THE most frustrating level EVER.

I smashed the ice in the bottom left structure with the bluebirds, which damaged the center structure enough that it toppled, spilling the triple potion onto the bottom middle pig. Next I bombed the debris with white bird such that after dropping her egg, she flew up to smash into the top structure. Both top pigs got caught up in the bloat potion, causing lots of destruction.

@furfeather your strat worked better for me. On the second shot of my best score, the upper pigs were already gone by the time the orange potion bottle broke, but so much debris fell down below for additional damage that I still got a decent score. Thanks for posting. Not the first time I’ve had really good results from using one of your strats!

@furfeather this level has been a nightmare, I can’t even get your strat to yield great points. However, you would have to be a genius to land the video strat. Have been at it for days so thanks for your alternative, at least three stars were achieved with your help.

thanks. did the same, but only breaking the glass to the left of the pig with the glasses without killing it. sometimes the blue potion falls to activate both that pig and the one to the right giving 10k extra. just tried this and it got me 107.5k and 2nd place currently, with a sufficient but not so good 2nd shot. (was only playing for this proof-of-concept; hadn’t and haven’t figured out yet how to get maximal destruction by the 2nd bird, but the distance to current 1st place (115k) can be overcome with a better 2nd shot i think, given there was lots of debris left in case of my current score and also based on the comments above).

excellent score. i can imagine a 125k+ score by that 1-bird method when somehow the blue bottle (and maybe even the orange potion) is pushed to the left upon falling down, activating both pigs. don’t know how to play for that though, so won’t.

Another flinger sending out a great big thank you @furfeather. After working on 3* minimums when these levels were released, I’m finally back to improve to above average scores. This level was troubling, I was stuck on 85180 until I started using your strategy. With some fine tuning my aim for my Android phone, I slowly crept up 4.8k, until just finally nailing your 2-birder for 98680. Now not only am I above average, but also in the Top 100 for rank. Thanks again … I’m not giving up just yet, I’m going to keep trying to improve ; -)

I got the blue potion with first bird and activated the orange with the second ;-) Several times I was able to aim far and high like the video and got both the blue and orange potions to work together but I always seemed to have a lousy second shot left for the WB. Your way ultimately worked out better for me all though I need some score improvement for sure ;-)

Furfeather – thanks for the hint. Going into the glass of the left stricture is definitely and more consistantly effective. I had a chance for a super score when the blue potion affected both pigs in the lower right (glasses and white hair) but I screwed up the simple second shot. Still, I improved my score by 3k.

It might simply be a matter of time. I tried over and over with variations of the video’s first shot and would either topple the upper tower without tipping the blue bottle or vice-versa. One more shot and a lucky one-bird chain reaction got me score of 109,800.

To get the potion to fall properly, aim so the middle blue will hit the center of the left triangular glass block that makes up the 1st structure’s roof. The bottom blue needs to hit the glass block protecting the glasses pig. For a split point, find the left corner of the triangular stone on the ground in front of the 1st structure. Now find the horizontal wood plank just above the glasses-piggie’s pipe fort. Draw a line from there to where it meets your vertical line. That’s the split point.

You are always to be forgiven for such an understandable mistake @Stocktoad, but I must share my antidote:

When I saw your score post to the Challenge so soon after it had started, I was so pleased and so proud for you ~ “that’s my Stocktoad” I proudly thought! For a few hours I kept checking the posts on the walk-through page every half hour, eager to read your “Puppy post” to learn the details of how such an impressive high score was achieved so I could try and do likewise. When I woke-up this morning I checked again first thing and noticing you still hadn’t posted a strategy, immediately suspected something must be amiss. But for awhile anyway, you gave us HOPE ~ and that is something of value in this often frustrating game of Birds and Pigs!

@uncle-b LOL I think your spell check is acting up again. Although…..if you have an antidote to keep me from making dumb mistakes like that, I would gladly take notice.

After playing the RIGHT level for a while today, I can tell you exactly how to get a high score. All you need to do is get the blue potion and the orange potion to both fall on grandpa pig. That splits him into 3 huge pigs and could easily produce a one birder. The problem is……I can’t tell you how to accomplish that. I know it is possible though, because I have sort of done it. The problem was both a top pig and a bottom pig were left alive, and I don’t know what the shot was.

Yep, you’re right ~ Argh !!! ~ I absolutely HATE spell-check!
But I must admit it’s returned some pretty funny “corrections” lately…

We can only hope in years to come that A.I. advances will allow spell-check to consider context to better know what we intended to say when correcting spelling errors. I’ll gladly give up the chuckles for that.
