Angry Birds Short Fuse Level 26-14 Walkthrough

One strategy for Angry Birds Short Fuse level 26-14 is to snipe the tripling potion with a Red bird, hopefully clearing most of the level as the exposed pigs destroy everything in their paths. Fling a Yellow bird for the TNT on the right side to finish the level. The score in the video below is 136,770.

Aim for the clipboard. When you do that , one of those two pigs will hit the Blue Potion then hit the Orange Potion which will blow up three pigs to do maximum damage and achieve a 1-birder.

It’s easy to get three pigs to inflate if you hit the first pig and then the blue potion, but then you’re giving away 10k points because the first pig will not triple.

The key is to hit the clipboard as low as possible without popping the first pig. Still haven’t managed to do that and get a 1-birder.

Thanks @f91jsw, hitting the 1st pig before blue potion bottle led to my only 3* of 127850. It was almost a 1-birder as boulder rolled right & bumped TNT, it just wasn’t set off. SO many more points to be had

easy way to use potions maximum, aim the red bird totally up and make it hit the blue potion from top then 3 pigs get blue potion and one of them almost always hit the orange potion. very easy to repeat. like that i got 141k and only one time get very close to 149k with this method. still trying.

still working on this (148480 currently) but found four ways to activate the blue potion on all three pigs and make the replicating pigs hit the orange potion:
1) high arc (as described by genkik);
2) low arc (as described by f91jsw);
3) reduced speed (the idea being as for 2): avoid the red continues onto the rotating pigs as that makes them go up);
4) somewhere into the middle of the blue-green medicin bottle to the left (activating the blue potion by a cascade).
i think 1) and 4) are the easiest shots. however which one gives the best scores i don’t know. currently got my two best scores (both 148k) with 4). that one does have the advantage of damaging the left structure, but of course it’s the in/deflating pigs where the points should come from and their positioning may depend on the way the blue potion is activated (148k is still far from the current 155k top score).

It took me some tries to get a one birder. Red into the potion.
The multiplying pigs bike the other potion and then three big ones broke everything else.
I think that’s my first top score with more than twenty people entered their score :-)

1st bird like in video, Falling debris from upper left side blew TNT. Yellow bird to middle section to clear out 2 pigs. 131k

I noticed the “!” point which gave me the idea to gain an extra 1000 points for the mushroom. Of course it took me a few different trials and errors & scenarios to make sense of it…(I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who thought the magnet could be cut to do some damage)…NOT, lol ;-)
However, I’m actually surprised nobody posted this yet…

If you aim Red at the mushroom…it has to be a Low shot, he will ricochet off the wall just left of the “!” and into the blue potion below for that extra 1K points, while still landing on the potion to activate it and the three left piglets.

It’s mentioned above the very first little pig doesn’t duplicate, but I’m pretty sure he does…they’re just REALLY small:) I say this because on one attempt the potion only made contact with him and he did triple…just VERY small…
Anyway, back to the strat…once Red hits the potion it can give you the desired 3 bird “blow-up” after they make contact with the orange potion.

Unfortunately my TNT didn’t explode and my best outcome so far was getting the middle pigs and the top but…the stone rolled RIGHT up against the TNT but didn’t ignite, UURGHH! So I had to send in YB to ignite the TNT area. I’m pretty sure this will land someone a “Top Score” with a One Birdie ;-)))
That 1K extra points comes in real handy in levels like this! I was hoping to get it myself with the “One Birdie” before posting this but I wanted to share this so that you guys can try too! GL… I know it’s there…just gonna take some more flingin’ 8-)))

Pretty much as described with a little bit of extra info. Red bird just over the first pig and the clipboard, into the blue to activate all pigs. What’s crucial is that the cork end of the spinning orange potion needs to be around 9 o’clock when this happens so it breaks onto the spinning pigs and doesn’t go up in the air at the end of the magnet. Timing is everything. Then of course hope for Lady Luck to appear! Here’s a pic of my best effort so far. (This is so much easier to do on a Mac/PC with a mouse as the firing position, once you have it, can be repeated over and over until a good score is achieved).

You could either aim the red bird high or hit the clipboard to detonate the blue potion.

Aiming red bird (one pixel down from horizontal) at the bottom of the leftmost blue bottle (rather than at the clipboard) splashes the blue potion over all 3 pigs and results in one triplet hitting the orange potion 90% of the time.
