Angry Birds Seasons South HAMerica Level 1-9 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Seasons South HAMerica Level 1-9 is to send the Yellow bird towards the first wood attachment on the first wheel, so that it lands on the left side of the structure. Then send the orange bird into the tnts. The score in the video below is 165,940.

If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments, as that's what the leaderboards are for.

1 bird high score: like the video but through both wood attachments. Aim a little higher than in the video to get the right angle.

Managed one birder with only going through one wood attachment and got lucky with the fall out-169,600.

Was able to bring both swing wheels down with one shot, but orange bird went off in the sling each time. I did bring down the one, which caused lots of damage. Orange Bird to the closest structure, inflating on impact 156k for now

Send yellow bird under the swinging wheels to kill the far right pig. The stones will roll down and topple everything but the far left structure. Send orange bird to the lower left corner of the remaining structure and inflate.

I found @brandenburg5 ‘s method to be the most consistent to achieve higher scores.
1. Launch yellow bird under swinging stones after they pass 6 O’clock position. Accelerate through interfering wood structure into the far right pig. Bird or stones will detonate TNT and start chain reaction explosions. If all three of the right hand TNTs don’t explode, then re-set.
2. For orange bird: pull sling so that straps are perfectly horizontal, then continue down one or two “clicks” and release this should get orange over the rocks and into the base of the first structure. The goal is to get him to break into the structure and get near the TNT so that when he inflates, the TNT explosion and his ballooning body sends the debris skyward for maximum destruction.

The wheel destroyed the right side instead of the left. Then Orange bird just at the bottom of the leftmost structure, detonating the TNT, and all came down.

I was able to get both wheels to drop, but never with a good result. It is all about the timing with this one. But my score for now is done with 2 birds. Much like the video on top, first bird with an high arc thru the wood at the top of the left hanging wheel, everything exploded but the middle structure. I send Orange bird underneath it and it took care of the remaining piggies. I got a score of 175760.

Here is my video.

Edit* I got a new score and video of a one birder… just scroll down a couple of comments

Hi @e-star thank you for your video helped me raise my score, still having trouble with the timing so I’m moving on for now.

@jonstad You are more than welcome, I love being able to help my fellow flingers. I am sure when you do come back your timing will be spot on, but for now it looks like a good score to wait for the scores to settle in a few months.

@e-star I believe the timing on your first shot is perfect. If you can get the angle to go through both wooden triangles, then a score over 180K should be a breeze. I’ve hit the one birder, but my timing was too soon, so the score was relatively low. I’ll keep trying, sending Chuck up when the wheels hit their right crest. Sooner or later that high scoring one-birder has to come. Nice to see you getting to make Season’s videos again.

@ABeggerToo Thanks! And you were right, a one birder has lots of potential! No 180k just yet, but I did land me a score of 178360… just 10 points more than you I see :))

I love making them and so happy to see people are still looking for them when an update lands :)

Anyway, here is my video of the one birder.

Oh boy am I out of practice for these types of levels!!! I did manage to cut through both wood triangles several times but I guess my timing is off because I scored higher when I cut through the left one, the bottom left structure exploded…meanwhile – Chuck took a ride on the right one before falling gracefully on the right tnt causing a chain reaction taking out the remaining middle/right structures ;-) Hey, whatever works ;D

Timing, timing, timing …. I’m with AngryAdvisor, I can’t get this timing right very often. I will say it’s possible to 3* with 3 birds, but I thought I “nailed” the timing & shot with @e-star 2nd video, yet I needed a 2nd bird for my barely above average 171080. This is a tough one!

I have played this level enough times now I can regularly get 1-birders, frequently getting scores around 177k. I fling the first bird when the discs swing back to the right at 5 o’clock. I pull the bird down tight to the sling, then back off just slightly.

I have experimented with the timing and this is the best I have been able to come up with. If someone with a higher score could recommend different timing, I would really appreciate it!

Okay, I am finally in the 180s. I am still launching when the discs swing to the right at 5 o’clock, but now I wait until the third swing to the right. The discs are moving slower and land closer to where they do the most damage. My current score is 183k, but score would have been much higher if bird had landed to release the boulders as it sometimes will.

I have played all the levels before to have a look on the walkthroughs and after a lot of tries, i wasn’t thinking it was possible to cut both of the boulders and achieve such a destruction ;-)

One birder with a strange twist. Wait til discs begin to swing back to the right and launch YB, cutting thru both wood supports holding chains. Discs crashed down, destroying all but one bird. Here’s where the ‘twist’ came in: Discs were side-by-side and just kept SLOWLY moving to the left. Not rolling, just moving laterally until they bulldozed everything in their path, including last standing bird. Score was still increasing when the level timed out.
