Our strategy for Angry Birds Seasons South HAMerica Level 1-8 is to send the Red bird towards the top stone structure, so that it collapses to the right. Then send the Yellow bird into the tnt for clear the other pigs. The score in the video below is 108,480.

Great shooting! I finally got three stars — barely. When I checked the video, I found that I was using the same strategy but my scores were significantly and consistantly lower. This must be one of those levels where persitence is a key element for success.

I saw the same kind of destruction that you described and came agonizingly close to a 1-birder twice. 2-bird solution is still the most likely. I found that good 3-star scores only happened if the first bird caused the structure on the right to fall. Unless I got all three pigs on the right and at least partial collapse of the right-hand structure, I restarted — there was no hope of getting a 3-star score. Finally got a decent score of 113k but expect that the average will rise as more nesters start posting. This is the first South Hamerica level that took more than one bird.

@lesleyg I only can advice you to look at the picture that I posted. That’s more explaining as my words ever will be. Didn’t like this game, to much debris left. In the early days we played to kill these pigs, nowadays, we act more as the eagle ;-)
About Sheriff: again he visited me, now at 1-8.

@lesleyg studied the picture, compared it with a ‘clean’ game. I hit the concrete thing ABOVE the golden things. From then on, as I mentioned, the gods of birds have to be with you. Just luck, much luck.

@bernersenn Sorry to top your score! I was kind of mindlessly playing this game over and over last night(for something like 3 hours while watching TV) when I finally hit the one-birder – and then got a great explosion on the left and good debris-destroying collapse on the right. My only advice to others trying to improve on this level is to play fully zoomed in and find a place in the shading of the background to line up little red, so that he hits that top rectangular piece of stone perfectly on its left side, without touching the decorative piece that looks like a right bracket. What are those, anyway? ;)

You’re right about accessing the game, it’s boaring. Shoot, shoot and shoot again – don’t think. And I don’t have any idea what these things are, perhaps someone else can help us on this one :-)

@halliesginsb Congrats on the trophy! Do you remember , did you go straight on and hit above that gold thing ( no idea what it is) or did you come in from the top as Estar video?
I’ve tried both but I’m having no luck really, can’t even get close to top 100 :( ?

Hi @kathy – finally dragged myself away from old ABO levels to check this level out again. Surprised I still have the top score. The trajectory I used was the same as @bernersenn – that is, stright against the left side of the top rectangular stone, not from the top. GL!

1st shot like video. Yellow Bird to tallest stone structure, wait for the toppling to stop. Yellow bird directly into TNT. 107K

I used Red to hit the middle of the top stone structure. It collapses to the right killing the three pigs. Meanwhile Red falls to the left knocking down the left stone structure, leaving an easy shot for the yellow bird to hit the TNT.

I have been alternating between @brandenburg5‘s strat and shooting straight to the top stone of the middle. I eventually had a good break with hitting the middle of the tower, then finishing the left with the second bird. Took hours and my first time scoring above the avg. score broke 120K.

I shot the first bird much like the video on top, but I got lucky, the left side collapsed. But one little piggie remained on the right side, so I needed to finish him off with the yellow bird. I got a score of 117030 for now, but I probably will return for the actual one birdie :)

@comex666 Thank you for post your video. I did something similar with great destruction on the left with the high lob (never could hit the both pointy stones and had to clean up on the right.
Could not get the one bird solution to work for me as mentioned above. I am satisfied with the score.

Followed @e-star and @comex666 videos and used just the one bird. Super difficult on iOS as it’s such a precise shot. A bit easier on BlueStacks but it took over an hour, even with being able to repeat the shot, to get a 121k. Tap spot that works is X26.22 and Y 54.77. GL with this one!
