Our strategy for Airfield Chase level 9-8 is to fire the first Big Brother into the top of the right structure. The weight and instability will cause it to fall to the left and topple the main structure as well. There are two additional Big Brothers in case you need them. The score in the video below is 102,440.

Quite easy 1 birder here. Just hit either the orange sweet spot or the red spot on the following screen. (screenshot)
Both attempts CAN result in total destruction but the red one was more successful for me until now!

Thanks for excellent tip and screenshot! Aiming at red target area I cleared the whole level with first bird and scored 102,000. For some reason my high score so far, 114,520, came from same approach except I needed a second bird to take out the cage on the ground. Thanks again for the helpful post. Aloha.
I’ve only managed 110,660 so far, but the same way you did, with a second bird for the cage on the ground. I’ve found about 5 or 6 places where you can hit the upper structure and get a 1-bird solution, but none of them have produced as many points. Very frustrating.
This level is driving me nuts!! I keep hitting the sweet spots that u high lighted but the grey blocks all fall but i cant get them to break up. Help……………….

And what a sweet spot it is! I hit mine on the bottom of the cement square in the “red” circle for a one bird clear. It seems to me the slower they tumble and crumble, the higher the scores! Thanks again higgins ;-)

102,850 with one bird. I figured out the orange sweet spot by myself and
on accident. When I firstt discovered it, I had the cage on the ground
left and stupidly missed it with the second bird. This is a tough to get, as
Higgens mentioned.
Guess I will have to wait until I boot up my PC to see the red
sweet spot. The video covers part of the screenshot, very similar
to the ads covering up the drop-down menus on this site.
WooHoo! 107,040 with one bird as shown in the video. I’m quite pleased with that as it took me a long time to even get the 3 stars on my own. This was my next play to get a higher score. Thanks!

Is there a Doctor in the house? My Big Brother has developed a bad case of Anemia and has also lost some weight. He simply won’t do any better than the score he gave me, which is only 1½k higher than I had.
