Poached Eggs level 2-9 is difficult to earn 3 stars. Our strategy is to fire the Black bird just below the multitude of blocks, causing them to scatter. Then use the Blue and Yellow birds to drive your way through the remaining blocks until you reach the pig within. The score in the video below is 29,040.

Has anyone been able to find out the method behind those highscores.
I’ve read the older comments about Level 2-9 without a clear answer.
Was it a platform discrepancy ?
The method above, with the pig popped on the first shot, can score a lot of points.
This one is ridiculous. With my phone I managed to 1-bird this ONCE in many many tries. And it only yielded me a score of 40k, which is still more than 11k behind #1. On Chrome I played this once and scored 47k+.
There are 3 1-bird solutions: on chrome I managed the score by high arcing into the two blue blocks. This is the method that gives the best scores.
The second method is the method that yielded my 40k, into the middle little woodblock.
Third method gives the lowest scoring (~35k): black bird over the ledge, detonate when you’re about 2/3rd downhill. The pig will roll to the left and come back to the right and sometimes pops.
On chrome: easy job. Phone: HARD.
iPad = impossible!!
Igot over a thousand vids resulting in failure. I give up, a one birdie isn’t possible for me… Going bonkers over here, moving on!

Sitting on 40,410 on my droid. Played it so long ago, I can’t remember how I got it.
Fired up Chrome and got 48,460 in less than 5 minutes. Went back to my phone and played for 30 minutes and could not duplicate the 1 birder that I did in Chrome. Yes, it was the method you mentioned. I just did the high arch lob shot into the 2 blue blocks (ice, glass, whatever they are), black bird sat there, and blew the smitherines out of everything. On my phone I am having difficulty duplicating that shot.
I’m having the same problem on my Samsung Fascinate. I have hit the magic spots hundreds of times and that darn pig just sits there bruised and blinking. Nailed it first try on Chrome. Grrrrrrr!
The score I have posted here is also from Chrome AB, I can’t even come within 15k of it on ABO.
Hey Vaporizer, which of the methods has the highest probability of happening? I want to get over this level!
Kart, I got out the laptop, my score from g+ is higher than my android, it’s much easier on g+. The bomb bird top comer of blocks, the blue birds do damage and yellow finished it off. 1 bird left. On g+ I got 30k+ with only one try, on android I cannot get past 24K24K today. Hope that helps. :)
Kart, I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!41,350 :0 Lodge first bird in the bottom & middle small wood blocks, he blew everything up, including the pig.
@sunshine I need help on this one. Read your strategy, threw 100 birds and cannot get it on the first shot. I land it on the bottom small wood block. I land it on the middle small wood block. Nothing!
I do not seem able to split both blocks, bottom & middle.
So far it push the bottom center grey stone block out to the pig about half way. I will give it a try later but right now, nada!
if you fire the first black bird so it lands just above all the blocks, you could get the pig in one shot. I got 42,760 with that.
Yeah, I’ve got 47120 this way.
I managed to blow the piggy up using just the bomb, a carefully placed shot near the top of the stack should earn you 44,170 … sweet!
Got 41650 the first time I beat the stage. Just keep logging the first bird towards the main stack and it’ll eventually nudge itself far enough in to take out the pig.

I know! Believe me, i’ve been there.
It took me 3 days of mindless shooting the same bird over and over again!
After day 3 I gave up, so I uploaded my ‘not so great’ video to my YouTube. At night I just before I go to sleep, I fling a few birds without recording (goes mutch quicker, no press button, tap record, fling bird, fail, press button again, tap delete recording, press restart level, press button, tap record… Etc) and omg I did it. I slept very well that night haha.
So I feel your pain, hope you get it soon!

@e-star. Do you know how to record play on an IOS device? There are a number of levels where there isn’t a good video and the write ups don’t really explain well….I’d like to record a few videos to help people out on the few levels I think I have mastered.
@myselfiandme, to record, you must have jailbroken device.
@Myselfiandme @pjing is right. To record a play you need to jailbreak (hack) your iOS device in order to run “Display recorder”. If you are using an Jailbreak iOS device let me know, I will explain more.

I finally did the roll over moantain version for 35k, after numerous of non hits on the glass method.
Didn’t see a i-pad user with high scores yet so I also would like to have the level updated…
I know I’ve lobbed at least a trillion birds trying to make an average score on this level. Came close to lobbing my Kindle out the window a few times, too. Just got it with 2 birds- and I was so frustrated that I was making wild shots all over the place…. I have no clue exactly where I hit with the first bird. But, hang in there, if I can do it, y’all can, too. Good luck! (-:
@kathy, just give it a couple of more tries. I’m replaying all the levels to improve my scores and stumbled upon this one last night. I must admit, this IS the hardest level in that respect. Been doing every imaginable methods all night long before checking in at the Nest & found another one. And what a brilliant one it was. @sunshine, you’re indeed my sunshine as morning comes. 41.800 by resting Black to the left-most woodblock (yes, the left one in the top row of three woodblocks). It took me about 20 tries in “flinging-frenzy mode” before something fell down and hit that annoying green one. Way better than spending the whole night staring at the same structure. Requires a lot of patience yes, but in AB impossible is nothing… ;)

Who has more than me with an iPhone4, and if yes => HOW? Only method that seems to work is the “downhill 2/3″….
OK, after 1 trillion tries it finally improved.
As usual I tried the lob into the ice.
Bomb landed on uppermost little woodblock and took its place.
The shockwaves made the little woodblock above the pig to kill it.
I just had a horrid thought: I hope this level doesn’t show up in the daily Challenge for a LONG time….
I tried a ton of different methods and when trying the bottom and middle outside wood blocks like sunshine suggested, I messed up and shot too high into the uppermost wood block like you.
BAM! 40,390. Just like that.It killed the pig in less than a second.
Finally got 3 stars with iPad! I had to make sure the first bird got above 8k. Then was able to finish it off with a well placed shot from the yellow bird (I have such a hard time controlling that sucker).
Strategies for eagle destruction on Chrome:
- I think the best solution is to aim the bomb bird at the top of that north-west facing tower so it blows up a couple blocks without sending it flying. Next bird, clear the 3 wooden straight blocks, letting the rest of the debris fall in the space where the wooden blocks were. Then put the can at the bottom left side of the entire structure.
I’m going through trying to get the averagew score for each level and I’m calling it done on this level at 32,300. I’m not sure how I got that but I’ve beengrinding on this level for a couple hours and can’t get above 31,000. I’m not getting any damage to the first line of wooden blocks that is critical for the blue bird to penetrate and kill the pig.
I was just about to give up on trying to score the average, when I hit the mythical 1-birder. Dropped the bomb from a high arc onto the square glass cubes on the upper side. When it blew, the concussion blasted the pig. Only 6,500 points from physical damage, but 5,000 for the pig and another 30,000 for the bird bonus totals up to a nice 41,550.
Hurray! I got a 1birder using the @sunshine strategy: aiming the bird at the bottom and middle wooden block in the first row. The pig was killed by the small stone block sitting above its head! It took me about 20/30 attempts only, which is nothing compared to the about 10000 shots I needed to get 3stars (with 29k) a long time ago. @ohforfive – give it again a try with sunshines method if you like – it worked perfectly for me (I’m playing AB on an iPodTouch)

@sunshine you star :D it does work, it really does! lodge Bomb Bird in between top and bottom wooden blocks, and the blast pushed the stone block to pop the piggie. Must have settled just right or detonated at the right moment, because this is exceptionally hit-and-miss.

On facebook on my laptop I found a sweet spot for aiming that gives me 1-bird succes every (!) time: after trying unsuccesfully for hundreds of times, I found that below the last step of the birds “launchpad ladder” there is a group of 4 grass straws; holding the mouse cursor at the rightmost edge of the rightmost grass just where the grass meets the ground, gives me around 45k every time. I just wanted to share this, since Angrybirdsnest have helped me many times :) Thank you.
This level is one where platform makes a big difference. Playing on Kindle Fire, I’ve never done better than the 3-bird solution shown in this page’s video, 29280 high. On Google Chrome, however, the 1-bird solution works about half the time.
So, on my iPad, I can’t hope for a score above 41, or 42K? That’s even more discouraging than Powerups :/
I’ve been going through some old ones where my scores from way back are off the average. Been having some luck with it. This was the next one in line.
I opened it up and instantly got a bad taste in my mouth. So my thinking is do I waste many more hours on top of the hours and hours I spent just to get 3 stars on this or do I just live with my lousy score.
There is a place in this world for lousy scores…
@78rpm I agree, even lousy scores have their place, especially on this one. I’ve also been revisiting old levels & found this one where I was nearly 5k below average, & was ready to leave it that way out of frustration.
I kept coming back day after day, flinging at the small wooden blocks with no luck. I decided to switch strategies & started arcing the bomb high over to the glass squares & nearly fell over when I got it on about my 10th try. Maybe there’s hope for you!
I finally reached a decent score via lob into the two glass pieces.
Platform: iPhone(5)since I really think that platforms matter on this one.
