Angry Birds Poached Eggs 3 Star Walkthrough Level 2-2

The best strategy for Poached Eggs level 2-2 is to lob the first Blue bird and split it early enough so to take out the small pig in the top right. After that, lob one or two Blue birds into the heart of the pit, breaking as much ice as possible. The score in the video below is 64,880.

If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments, as that's what the leaderboards are for.

My first bird killed all the pigs in the ice pit, then coincidentally the pig on the diving board fell as well. 75420, 1 bird, ranked 6th in leaderboards

I shot my first bird straight so the diving board fell. I got 70710.

Here’s the video I made.

Similar strat with 23 K after 1rst bird, flatter trajectory – quick trigger. = bottom bird on 1rst duck, top bird on ice cube between the wood. My 2nd bird just willNOT do the damage yours does, 62 K 2 birds 65+K 3 birds. ?I think you could get 75K with all of that 2nd bird action.? [point on tuft of grass below mountain/quick trigger]

By eggomaniac

the foliage is different in your picture and I can only pull the birds about 1/2 way to the ground, not as far as in your vid. this is like comparing apples and oranges

Hitting this level on my PC, and I will admit, it’s been many months since I played this level, and I always saved the pig on the diving board for last, I don’t know why. I guess I figured that it didn’t make that much difference, but as I found out, I was way off. Used your vid method to get another 6k increase in score.

used @e-star‘s vid to get 76k. it is possible to reach top 100 (73k) using a 2 bird strat.

one thing i would like to suggest, shoot 1st bb using a more flatter arc and release it early. you want the bottom two birds to hit ice, and the top one to hit the lone ice cube. 2nd bb, exactly as the vid, just to the right of the 1st duck.

There is a video showing that if you start this level, reverse your iPod or iPhone or iPad and keep playing, the top pig will roll off the ledge. Is that so? If it is that is one reason why people are getting high scores on this level.

I don’t think reversing the screen makes it fall. Some levels start off having something happen occasionally, like a pig rolling, or an unstable structure falling.

I’m revisiting this level after many, many months & cannot get the top piggy to roll into the pool, with a laughable amount of restarts. This is def how I got my score. Unless my memory fails me I’m sure the pig rolled maybe once every 20 restarts(?). It now seems to roll opposite way! Just wondering if latest update/bug fix has sorted this or has anybody got the pig to roll off recently?. As I said tho it could be my dodgy brain cells!!

By eggomaniac

i got 73+ K using shooters, not restarts. Just make sure the 1rst bird breaks the single ice cube below the plank.

Ok thanx for that, just wish I could remember how I did these old levels!. Trying now to beat my 72k score but not having much luck! I take it you 2 birdied it with a lot of damage from 2nd bird?

By eggomaniac

when you split the 1rst bird, the top one hits the ice cube, the bottom 2 birds do damage in the bin,,, can’t remember if it was 1 or 2 B???

Dear eggomaniac, since the pig does not roll to the left anymore your 2 birder with 73K is really excellent. I never was able to repeat my score.

Just improved my score. First bird pretty early split, the uppermost hit ice cube under diving board, the other two broke a lot of ice in the “pool”.
Second one high lob entering the pool just right from the left duck, late split, so all 3 of them went nicely downwards left of the waterball.

I seriously just tried the turning deal, and not only does my android version prevent auto screen, the pig actually started slowly rolling AWAY from the edge! I think it’s probably safe to say they may have fixed this:-)

By Omegaville

I gave up on this after trying and trying but unable to break all the pigs in the ice pond with a single bird. It’s impossible, even with a seed powerup. Most I got was was 58,000-odd.

By eggomaniac

Omeg,, 65 1/2 K with 3 birds. 1rst bird was towards the top, back pig. with an early split. top bird hits the little block of ice between the pieces of wood. the bottom 2 roll into the ice. 2nd bird, LOB, can win, but only 62 K,,, got the 65K with a 3rd bird taking out the last pig and LOTS of ice. gonna try E-Stars strat now.

Launched the first blue bird in a high arc towards the pig on the board causing the board to tip over and grey stone to hit the duck below. Just a little different from the video but the same strategy to get the pig.

Launched the second blue bird in towards the center left of the V and activated it very close to the glass cubes. Increased the score 4k.

– Since the eagle bounce is different and it doesn’t touch much, I would use all 4 birds to knock out ad mush glass as you can and land the can near the bottom of the first hill.

I find hitting the ice block under the “diving board” helps knock out some ice in the pool, then launch the 2nd blue bird into the pool and hopefully the concrete block will do some damage as it falls through.
