Angry Birds Danger Above 3 Star Walkthrough Level 6-8

Our strategy for Danger Above level 6-8 is to fire the first Black bird into the top of the first tower, clearing the two pigs there. Aiming a little higher, place the next Black bird into the base of the tallest tower, demolishing it. Use the two remaining birds to clean up as needed. If the White bird is necessary, you can likely accrue more than 10,000 points in damage with the Black bird. The score in the video below is 98,840.

If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments, as that's what the leaderboards are for.

Alternate strategy:
1. Lob high to hit the precise middle of the space, right behind the first 2 pigs. Clears out a lot of blocks.
2. Same as video’s second launch.
3. Cleanup bird
4. Cleanup bird

I shot the first bird to the left of the structure on the hill, this cleaned up the piggies on the right side. Second bird with a lob aiming to land on the right side of the left little tower. 20k for left over birdies. Got me 102260!

@e-star Thank you for the video and alternate strategy. It worked great!!! It helps if one lines up the first bomb bird with the head feather of the one below waiting. The second bomb bird can be lined up with the base of the sling that has a very small space, daylight comes in when the bird flexes. If one does not obtain 43-46k on the first bird, reset. Added 6k to the score.

Using this strategy, manually explode the first black bird after it hits the tower and starts to descend but before it reaches the bottom of its fall. This more reliably gets scores in the 45K to 48.5K range. For the second black bird, it must lodge in between the right side of the leftmost tower and the single small stone to the right of this before exploding to produce maximum damage, which usually requires waiting for the bird to auto-explode.

Thank you @e-star for the video (oh how I miss them on newer levels!), and to @caviar-101 for the additional tips. I actually had to use four birds for 103k, but I was following E-Stars approach. The first bird to the far tower did very good damage, but one pig remained. I did the second bird as usual with good results, basically burned the white bird, then threw the last bird to the far right to take care of that stubborn piggy, and a lot more damage.

111k/4
1st) into house on the hill (similar to 2nd in video, or 1st in e-star video, but making sure that bird breaks through the vertical stone, and rolls into the house; let it explode on its own); scores vary a lot depending on how many of the pigs on the left were taken out by flying debris;
2nd) as far as possbile by medium high arc, breaking through the rightmost hollow square and if possible rolling a bit to the right after (though the small square stone). the explosion should make the right side of the structure rotate to the right and fall into destruction. (often there’s a wooden hollow square on top of the stone one; if that’s damaged enough you can throw through it; otherwise i reset). scores vary a lot again; but 65k+ should be ok (but much, 15k, higher are also possible depending on collateral damage of the 1st; what’s important here is the damage done to the right part of the structure; stones should break not pile up while falling to the right).
3rd) again as far as possible, into the hole left by the 2nd; drop bomb low for a few k extra (say 5k)
(just for collecting some extra points; the 3rd is pretty useless in my strategy; in general i throw it to any place promising the highest score without disturbing the leftmost structure; as that will be taken care of by the 4th);
4th) high arc (as the 2nd shot in e-stars vide), clipping the top-right of leftmost structure, to make the bird drop down ending up in the hole to the right of the leftmost structure.

three 108k+ scores in an hour of play with this with 111k being the best. i think throwing all 4 is better than just 2 because the damage potentially done by the 4th outweighs the little damage done by the 3rd. in general bomb birds can cause way more than 10k damage if they end up in narrow hollows; if all goes well that’s the case for each of the thee bomb birds in this strategy.

The goal is to get more than 70k after the 3rd bird.

I don’t even remotely see how this one is possible.

Hi @amslimfordy, I don’t know how the ‘flag score’ stuff is working, but the current top has been flagged.

No answer from @jinxmeister and a score that is simply impossible to achieve, except with a full self destruction that is not going to happen, or a one bird destruction with 10k more destruction that my current top score here (http://oi57.tinypic.com/2100geq.jpg).

I think this one can safely be dismissed has an input error or a PU.

Thanks,

I’m absolutely amazed you & @windwalker have these great scores on an iPad; my iPad birds must need more Geritol or some other multivitamin because they are failing miserably at this task & struggled very very hard to improve the starting 97510 on an Android phone to 104350 on the iPad. Perhaps a late morning nap will help.

@vuelva thanks for the great strategy & @asher thanks for the screenshots.
@xebic88 I’m struggling the most with the 1st & last shots too. One thing I’ve found, if you look at asher’s 1st screenshot there’s a stone block & wooden triangle debris just to the right of where the 4th shot needs to land. Having that kind of set-up, or even if the wood triangle is over the landing spot seems to help. The bomb clips the top of the left structure & then that debris can help guide it into the right spot.
I’ve improved to 106k, I had 71k after the first 3 shots on that attempt.
@windwalker congrats on your awesome score!

way to go windwalker.

on ipad i get the 1st bird more than half of the time into the house by lining up the black-grey transition of the bird with the dark-light brown transition on the tree in the background (fully zoomed in); still needs several tries usually to get good destruction and a good set-up for the 4th (one as described by karen68). i also use the background for the 2nd (the top feather of the bird in the `corner’ of the colour-transitions on the tree or rather a bit lower) and 3rd (not very critical), and for the 4th i use position the bird with its belly close to the sling (distance depending on the set-up and on whether the vertical stone is already damaged or not).

seeing it was the challenge today tried it this morning again but could not improve in an hour of play. i did get several 107ks and once 105k with one pig left; wrt xebic’s darn 108k: i recall getting that score last time i played this level but with one pig surviving…; would have been enough for top score then (but not now) and i shamefully admit to cursing that time.

great to see the strategy is working for many of you. good luck to all.
