25 years ago I was working nights (unsurprisingly) and got to see the millennium fireworks in Cardiff
What a let down, after the G8 conference eighteen months earlier
A boy waving a sparkler, indeed

Happy New Year all
Mr Bunny in Hospital all day, having a nasty cyst removed
And I’ve got flu, post flu jab, albeit very mild, but still annoying
Our celebrations are obviously not lavish

Luckily we had a White Christmas thanks to a dumping of snow on the 23rd. I know it’s Canada, but where I am it’s less common. Decembers have been getting milder.
