I don’t know why I play this game any more. The designers are terrible with these way out of reach amounts you have to get to.

Anyway, I gave up on hats a while back. So now I have 20,000 black pearls. I think a good strategy is to level up all the birds but one. That way you can play against others at a lower slingshot power but have some good birds.

How should I spend the black pearls?

All seven of my birds are either level 39 or 40 (I’m level 395).
They’re all wearing Cowboy Hats (x3 – which is really +3 [moron programmers]).

I can buy the other x3 hats (Easter and Work @ 500bp each) for each bird which would total 7,000 black pearls leaving me with 13,000 left.

I could then buy every bird a Pirate Hat and be left with 6,000.

Which means I could then buy 6 birds a Knight Hat. This would up my slingshot 3 more levels.

Or should I hold off and get to 25,000 black pearls and update only 1 bird to a Fancy Hat?

So much confusion. I wish Rovio would learn to communicate better (and the difference between adding and multiplying). At any rate, I am hoping to clear up some confusion.

I bought all the crowns first to gain the bronze slingshot. If I go back and buy all the party hats will I get the silver slingshot? Or should I be saving up for the street hats?

Also, since I have the complete set of crowns, if I buy only 1 of any other type of hat, does that mess up my set, thereby nullifying the slingshot bonus?
