It has always worked for me in the past, but I just had the empty list happen for the first time during this event and the usual fix didn’t work for me either. :(

And I agree with too many events lol. A weeks break between each event would be nice… I’m glad in a way that this event’s hat is useless. Can relax a bit lol.

Thats happened to me a few times in the past. If you click the tick when the list is empty, then no-one will help. So make sure you click the X and then back out of the monster pig event section.

When you’ve done that, exit the game and shut down the app completely so it isn’t running in the background (don’t uninstall!).

After that, start up the game and head to the monster pig section and click on your pig. Then click the help button and you should now have a list of people to ask for help.

Yeah they start off a bit slow, but if you play enough you end up with pigs that are too powerful and you have to resort to ignoring them and just helping other people kill their’s or you’d just waste all your ships lol.

If you end up losing against a pig (running out of time), the next pig will still be a level higher which is a bit strange.

Unfortunately the prize is another hat for Matilda. She already has a Turtle hat which boosts defence EVERY battle. This Walrus hat only boosts defence if you are against higher level birds…

If they are going to give the birds more than 1 hat, why didn’t they start with Red or Chuck? most of the world didn’t get a chance at those hats.

I have the Dragon ship from the kaijuu event so I’m sorted lol.

It’ll take me a while before I can send any pigs your way. I just found 3 and at the moment I’m killing them with 1 ship, but probably by tomorrow the pigs will survive long enough for me to ask for help lol.

Ah, so you got 1 item fine and then straight after tried getting the other and it was expired? Thats really bad in that case :(

I’d contact them and explain what happened. Your rank is shown on the stat screen so they can see what items you should have. I guess it depends if they can resend items or not.

Also check you dont actually have the item already. I remember collecting a few things from the gift box (the dragon boat bits from the kaijuu event) and then the items were still in the gift box. I tried taking them out of the box again but they said the items were expired. I guess they said that because I already had the items.

That event ended like 2 or 3 days ago. I got my hat the morning after the event finished. I’d make sure to do the same next event.

You could contact rovio and see if they can un-expire it, but I wouldn’t hold your breath :/

I have a SS weapon, but the rest is only A stuff. Im not even going to try this event because the items aren’t even good unless you get the 1-500 ranked item.

Im sure they’ll just rotate through the birds each arena event, so I’m just going to wait until the next red event when I’ll hopefully have all SS items.

The best thing about this event is I have tons of spare ships to kill the first pig with so I can get enough money to upgrade all my items ready for the next monster pig lol.

The scales are how much the item weighs. Birds can only hold a certain amount of weight.

If i ever have connection errors i usually find just completely shutting down the app (make sure its not still running in the background) and then starting it again fixes it.

Sounds like a good plan. I only use facebook for gaming but i know others use it for a lot more and could do without the spam lol.

The worst thing about it is that you can either “ask everyone” which doesnt include Facebook friends, or “ask friends” which only asks facebook friends! Whos bright idea was that lol… They should just have a “ask for help” that sends a help to all of your friends as well as a load of randoms.

And yeah, the amount of times i lose a pig because a few people only did a few thousand damage… It does make me rage lol.

Anyway at the moment i just ignore any super pigs i find myself because very rarely enough people will help kill it so ill of wasted a ship. I attack green pigs with 1 ship and ask for help beings it takes 6 hours to expire, it always gets killed. (Yeah its not many tails, but its guaranteed shells lol).

And other than that i just check the pig event section after each bird battle to see if any new pigs have appeared that need help being killed.

It seems quite often pigs appear in the list and then vanish before you get a popup saying there is one. So checking often gets me more pigs in the end.

As for it being a scam, i dunno… Mobile games are quite often hacked which means a few could have unlimited gems. But there is also a lot of rich kids in the world whod think nothing of buying a few hundred gems lol.

I think we should all friend up, get a good friends list going of serious people who can do a few thousand damage per ship. Then next event we’d kick pig butt!

I dont know if they have any effect in the arena event (not had 1 of those yet). But if not then its only for deciding rank.

You get the prizes at the end of the event. With your rank youll get all the prizes minus the rank 500 prize. (If you stay under 2000th).

And you shouldnt see anyone wearing a turtle hat yet. Think you must be seeing people with last event’s hat. (Dunno its name, ill just call it kaijuu hat lol).

To your first question, yep thats your overall rank. And the fight points are what decides your rank.

As for how they fit in, im not sure what you are asking, but you gain more fight points for a win than a loss and the daily events give you extra fight points for completing them. You also get them from things like pig challenges.

When you cant kill them with 1 ship just choose the “ask everyone” and most of the time people will kill the pig for you. as long as you have done most of the damage, youll get the same amount of shells as if you killed it your self. no point wasting loads of ships per pig. (if the pig is sitting there nearly dead and the times about to run out then use 1 more pig to finish it off).

im not interested in the ship parts as i got the dragon ship parts last event, so i just want the gold hat at 20k. ive been playing just around 6 battles every couple of hours and attacking any super pigs that people need help with (only using 1 ship per pig) and am sitting around the 2k mark.

to get under 500th last event i ended up using around 10 gems. other than that all i did was always use up all my ships (1 per pig) and made sure to never have 3 ships sitting there.

lol yeah same here! every time i start up the game in the morning ill of dropped about 500 places lol. play most of the day just to get back to the rank before you went to bed XD

Birds don’t level up after 30. And some of the challenges aren’t worth the stress. What stats does he have with no items equipped? Mine isnt 30 yet but he is 20 something so you can see if your stats are more than his.

Dunno what the prize is, but if its the gem prize its only 1 gem. Id just skip it and carry on with the next area. I have a challenge with matilda to win like 4 in a row and I hardily ever win with her let alone 4 times in a row lol.

My bomb is lvl 26 and with no items equipped he has 428 attack, 112 shield, 316 health, and 0/83 weight

I think your thing to stop multi-moves hasnt worked too well. 3 or 4 times now I have activated a couple of lines of 4 birds and then a load of the bird tiles have bunched up on top of each other causing a right mess. One time I was facing a monster pig and it happened and the tiles froze up so I couldnt even move any bird tiles! I just had to sit and watch the timer run out and then when it did run out, it didnt go to the results screen… :/

Also quite often when playing against chuck and he does his move I’ll end up with a bird tile stuck in the groove made by chucks special.

If you manage to find those daily challenges, let me know! I hope the challenges reward a gem. I keep getting the same 2 or 3 items from the slots, so looks like I need all the gems I can get! ^^
