You could get even luckier at breaking the debris with the moving planets. Those wood/stone/chain bits can be worth a lot.

As with pic 4, the "previous best" score on tally pages shows no sign of having used PUs. The difference between that picture and this one is that, here, the score of 21780 was ALSO gotten with powerups (no sign of it too).

The "previous best" score shown on tally pages (when you get a score that's lower than it) has no indication of being gotten with powerups, as in this pic, where the "previous best" of 25540 used PUs; in this example, the main shown score of 23880 was without PUs.

The highscore shown inside the level does nothing to indicate if it used a powerup or not. In this pic, the 25540 highscore was previously gotten with powerups, but there's no lightning bolt near it…

The tally page when completing a level with powerups shows NO signal of it such as lightning bolt! This picture shows a score gotten on the same attempt as pic 1.

Using a powerup on a level shows NO lightning bolt while at it. In this pic, you can see the Samba Bird powerup on the slingshot, but no special mark on the score.
