Was able to get a one-birder! Aim LB south at the boulder below the planet and redirect LB into the boulder by targeting the planet. LB ricochets into the boulder to the right, and crashes into the adjacent planet. Debris flies to the floating pig in the spaceship.

The Rat has arrived in Cosmic Crystals.

1st shot: Very similar to the video only a smidge higher. This causes more destruction of the spaceship without exploding the crystal.

2nd shot: Fling left past everything and redirect Laser to bounce off the boulder below the left crystal and continue to the boulder below the right crystal. Both boulders get caught in the gravity fields and explode their respective crystals. Easy-Peasy

Edit: After trying to repeat, that second shot is a little difficult. You might want to stay with @SweetP‘s strategy. ha ha

I went up above the top boulder, pushing it down onto spaceship and boulder next to it. 2nd shot down under to push a boulder to the left gravity field. Got 61220, maybe method can be honed a bit. Video:

I used this for one of my daily missions, destroy 5 crystal planets. It was very similar to the strat as posted by @gladvold . I knocked the top most boulder down into pig outside of the planets. He fell into the top planet. I then shot southwest to hit the bolder at 6 o:clock of the lower planet. I clipped the top of the big boulder straight ahead (bird carries on to ricochet into medium boulder to push higher big boulder into orbit) to take out top planet and drop far pig into lower planet orbit
2nd shot pushed the closest of the two lowest boulders into the lower planet orbit (entered orbit close to furthest boulder without touching it)
20k bonus
Think damage shot is ok for puppy, but if not I don’t have score shot (must’ve accidentally deleted or it didn’t record).

I got a one-birder, for 69,130 points! Proof. This one-birder consistently passes 66k (but isn’t easy to aim).

The idea is exactly the first shot by @skowse, but the lower crystal planet is blasted by Hektor’s ship (that lands vertically and then tumbles to the side).

I redirected the bird leftwards (slightly down) just before hitting/passing the boulder used by skowse.

This picture tries to describe boulder movements.

I found that SOMETHING needs to happen to drop Hektor’s ship onto lower planet. May be a push by the hurt bird (aided by top planet’s collapsing gravity) or by a shard (if the bird interferes with the upper explosion’s shards). Higher scores arise if you’re fortunate enough to have good damage to the shards and ship. Chances of planet failing to blast aren’t high.

In total, three boulders were smashed (the two skowse mentioned, and a small one close and southwest to the first of those).

Final debris. I like this level!

@gabguilo I followed your aiming guide for the first bird, and it took a large shard from the first planet’s explosion to knock Hector’s ship just enough for it to fall down to the second planet. On most attempts Hector didn’t fall. I think it was maybe the third time Hector’s ship dropped down that I finally got a one-birder. Congrats on finding this strat and on a great score.

@hallieginsb, thanks for the interaction and congrats on here and on your efforts to get higher ranks on Mirror Space. ;-) One level I suggest is Utopia M4-27: I found a new strat that makes scores up to 210k very accessible, so I see you could gain over 30k to your boards (plus it’s fun to play imo, 4 out of 4 birds used).

Fun story with finding this M7-1 strat here. It started when comparing my in-game scores with the Nest boards, and my highscore was 68k, about 5k above skowse’s 2nd place?? Had gotten it months before and just faintly remembered the strat, so had to replay, reconstructed the strat and eventually broke 69k with it, haha. Still a lot to play in this site, but so far I’ve loved to discover new strategies.
