@justpast40: Sorry, yes the Santa Mast SS-ranked item that has an SP listed on it. My current ship is the rock and roll ship/rock ship and has a much higher health/Defense/attach rate. I won all of the boat items from the sea monster raid prior to the kaiju pig tournament.

@jdweagle1: I got a Matilda carnival hat (increases rank) when playing opponents w/winning streaks, SS Santa Boat Mast (sold this due to my stuff being better gear, Christmas Candy Cane for Blue (increases Attack 150+ bonus), and then 2 other low SS rank items that I sold due to birds having higher quality SS items. I need to get some stuff for Chuck & Bomb, they have the weakest items. I also got the Christmas Tree hat w/$29.99 Christmas package limited offer, which is for Red. Matilda currently has a masquerade mask to increase the panel appearance rate (has an attack power increase), I believe the new one this monster event, is better for health-wise.

I’m not sure what the cap/limit is, but I upgraded a few items last night, and have currently:
1,651,444 coins.
*This is an Android Samsung Galaxy S5 OS v5.0 official app, and not a hacked version. I bought the 29.99 Christmas package last night for 60 gems, and used 40 of them to get SS/S items via the slot. I have 26 gems left.

@jdweagle1: I tried the 20 gem/ 4 items slot last night twice. Yes, odds really improved. I received 5 SS-rank items, 2 S rank items, and an A rank.

I had the same issue about a month ago, but the 2nd time worked, and then I got the 5 gems for completing all challenges on circus island. Man, I am wanting to find another new island… :)

Oh yeah, mine was on an Android w/Lollypop.

I am beginning to wonder as well. However, I am only getting an “A-ranked” item, so it doesn’t matter. It is strange that no one has received any updates, or go any thank you-s for the 3 day outage a couple weeks back.

I agree with all of you… @Pees2te, agree fully, or make it lower level SS and or S ranked items with a 5 gem slot.
The current luck on my 5 gem is: 7 A-ranked items in a row, followed by a mid-level S ranked item then a couple more A-ranked after that. A ranked should not be in either of these slots. I tried the 20 gem slot once, and it wasn’t a good try when I did it a while back. It’s been so long since I’ve won a good/decent SS-ranked item via the slot.

I would also like to suggest a gem purchasing using coins as I currently have 1.75 million of them. Or at least be able to purchase ship energy during sea monster events. Having boss-level challenges in the middle of a sea monster tournament is ludicrous.

I would also like to add from the above, on a different subject, how Tournament ticket spawning and Sea Monsters spawn early in each game phase. I know this doesn’t make any sense, but I’ve played the beginning of the last 3 tournaments late at night, and was easily the dominant #1 ranked world-wide, then to awake from slumber 8-9 hours later to find I’m then down to 3,000 rank or worse. Is the US-EST (US-East-Stnd. Time) spawning from Rovio AB Fight higher at night versus the day, or is it that the higher ranked players are spending 100.00-200.00 in gems each tournament or keeping bird life & ship life up whilst fighting monsters in the seas. I am baffled by this, and wondered what everyone else thought about it.

Yes, chances are too high in getting same (duplicate) items, and low ranking S and A items, when SS items are needed to upgrade a bird. I’ve either purchased or bought over 200.00 worth in US currency over the last few months, and found low level A, and S rank items are what I am getting. In fact, I counted 7 A-rated items in a row, then 1 low S-ranked item, then 2 or 3 more A items. These need moved to the pathetic “GG Token area”, where they can get more use. I have 1.75 million coins accumulated, and no way to use coins to purchase gems and or upgrade our birds. My birds are all at maximum of 35. Another suggestion to mention would be, for them to move to a new island. This circus island I’ve been bored on for about 2 months. If they do not wish to move some items over to the “GG token” area, then I wonder if they could at least reduce the cost of trying to get best “SS-rank” items that cost 5 gems.

Same issue here, but on multiple devices. It seems that anytime you flush the application cache/memory for Angry birds fight, it will launch the game as new (obviously), but when clicking the logon to Facebook screen locks up the game, and does not allow Facebook logon screen to even appear, and the error we’re all receiving is constantly appears. I’ve placed a support ticket to see if anything comes up.
