I think I’ve found the culprit, Facebook! My friend wasn’t on Facebook but I was. Recently, She joined Facebook for an unrelated purpose, and then decided to connect to Facebook when in Stella Pop. She now doesn’t get in-app videos either. She’s disabled the app in Facebook, told it she is playing anonymously and has logged out but to no avail, the in-app videos have gone.
Thanks for nothing, Facebook. :(

That is a possibility, as I have bought coins but my friend hasn’t.
