@abcdefg, @graugeist, perhaps I could give some insights into the perspective of a new player. i’m level 16 with birds that are rank 2, 3, 4.

When I was level 5/6, I battled in arena and got matched against someone who was able to one-hit my birds with a critical hit, while I was doing like 20% damage in one hit. I never went back into arena since then.

I just hit level 11, all my birds are mastery level 2. I have all the classes that can be bought with snoutlings until star reef, have not bought any classes with lucky coins. No golden chilli, have not bought anything with lucky coins actually.

I can consistently three star any story-mode with my tactic of leaving one pig alive, then slowly healing up before ending the battle, but it takes a bit more luck to kill the event monsters without one bird dying or the enemies reviving (like all the undead pigs in the love letter stage).

Thanks @m-ich, I am about 60 coins now, was initially saving up 90 for the paladin class, but I think I will try spending coins at the pig machine during my 5x daily reward, since I think the paladin class only really shines with the set items anyway.

The mastery point post by @mvnla2 (link) was a very interesting read for me! Can’t wait to unlock the dojo and castles.

I am beginning to understand a bit of where the comments about the events being easy come from, after what @pointless says about longing for some new PvE element, but it’s interesting that the events are both (i) too hard for the new players; and (ii) too easy for the old players. I wonder if there is a middle group somewhere that is satisfied.

Regardless, I think I will try my best at this event, if not then I’ll level up and wait for the next event comes out haha.

I have been playing for about two months, am at star reef in the main story, just got my first set item thanks to the rainbow bar.

I have unlocked five birds and it’s really hard to get to level three mastery because level one to two takes 25mastery points but level two to three takes 1200 mastery points.

The event mobs are much tougher than the story mobs, I think maybe the scaling is off because the level 50s keep complaining that the events are too easy. The easiest event mob for the third day is the three aerial pigs and one death pig, and if they all attack the same bird with the attack buffs then that bird just dies in one turn from full life. Then you immediately can’t get three stars.

Hi guys, please stop saying this event is easy. Not everyone is level 50 and has max items.

I find the event very hard and I would like to get the new class for the blues before the event is over. Can someone provide some tips on how to get three stars for the valentine day 3 rounds without any set items and level 2 birds?
