Our strategy for Ham ’em High level 13-3 is to loft the Yellow bird nearly vertically, speeding downward through the gap in the middle of the level. It is important to detonate the TNT next to the trio of piglets, and beneficial to trigger the trio of TNTs as well! Fling the Boomerang bird straight ahead to blast the left TNT and clear all remaining pigs. The score in the video below is 79,090.
Does anyone know how to get total destruction on this level? I’m almost done with total destruction through the entire game. I have only 5 more sections until I’m done. Any help? I’m stuck at 98%.
I agree with that, 13-3 is the hardest mighty eagle level.
Even Fujitoast, the video maker, admitted it.
Never mind! I got it and now I own 100% total angry bird destruction! All levels!
How do you beat it without the mighty eagle? Unfortunately I have an android & I don’t have the mighty eagle…
You don’t use the Mighty Eagle to beat levels. It’s a separate game within the game. To beat this level with 3 stars you’ll need to watch the video walkthrough or find a different method.
99%… Can’t get this level.. I’m down to this one and 9-9.. Can’t get them….
After MANY tries, I just got 80490 on this for 3 stars.
I shot the first yellow bird low along the ground, clearing out all the pigs to about the middle.
I lobbed the green bird into the notch behind the pig perched up top, clearing out all obects in the perch.
I then lobbed the black bird through the opening, got a pretty good skip to the right, and when he exploded, cleared almost everything left on the screen, including the explosives out to the right.
Nothing special here but I got 84,360 using the method in the video. I tried and tried to do the yellow along the ground first then the boomerang bird at the top but still always ended up having to use the black bird to kill the final few birds down below. I maxes out around 82K with that method. Good luck!
I’ve successfully gotten the level done with two birds. The yellow along the ground first, then the boomerang bird up high. If you hit the rock a glancing blow, it should kill the pig up top and then propel forward into the the two stones balanced and knock them over. A chain reaction set off below finishes off the remaining pigs in the cave.
I shot the yellow bird in a high arc to hit through the 2 wooden blocks on the top of the level. The yellow bird tends to bounce and hit the TNT near the small pigs, bonus points if debris somehow activates the TNT trio on the right. Boomerang bird through the bottom. 2 extra birds.
It appears that if the yellow bird hits the 2 wooden planks where they intersect rather than closer to the two stone blocks, the yellow bird’s angle is more in line with the middle tnt, it sometime hits the brown stone beneath the wood planks and has a tendency to activated the right side tnt more often. If the yellow bird barely touches the base of the sling, the angle to tnt is more consistant. Minor adjustments may need to be made.
@Kartflyer thanks for the strat! @wrw01 thanks for the details! Helped me get over the hump to get a decent score! Much appreciated! :)
@kimmiecv Glad I could assist in any way. Please post your stategies and techniques to aid anyone else.
Worked first time – many thanks!!
Thank you @kartflyer. After trying more than a dozen times, I finally got lucky when the tnt on the far right exploded. Frustration level was about to go ballistic when that happened.
I got 85260 when my first shot also detonated the TNT to the far right. I did everything like the video and got lucky. Not the highest score but respectable enough.
@wrw01 I’d love to post strats! Unfortunatly it’s RARE I’m that good!! LOL Thankfully we have people like you who are!! ;)
OOps I broke the thread! AAk Newbie!! Sorry @wrw01
@kimmiecv Let your brain relax and it will come. ABs is fun and some of the ABN folks work as a team to help each other. Just relax and it will come. I am really not that good. The players who aregood are in the top 50 for each level. I am rarely there. Those folks do not post that often so average players like me just get by, observe and do the best we can.
Thanks @wrw01 , if I see you at BP I’ll buy you a drink! Untill then I appreciate the help!! :)
@kimmiecv Thanks Kimmiecv. When I visit the BP it is usually in the mornings. In the evenings I am killing pigs. Thanks for the drink, will take you up on it morning or night. Lets get some pigs.
Ok @wrw01 I will let the higher ups know! ;) see ya
@Kimmiecv ROFLMAO your posts here are cracking me up!! And you are a pretty good flinger…
Gah @Kathy I seem to be in a Bad flinging rut!! I’m in S&T and hey do you think if I give you my birdies phone number you could maybe let then know we are on the same team?? I believe they are maybe teens cause they aren’t listening to Me!! :/ and I think the heat was melting my brain, I believe it only gets worse as you go in ham em, the evil game!! ;/
Ooh my…srry you having sooo much trouble:( ill.give those teen birdies a talking to:;)
I.am having trouble loading walkthrougg pages..the site seems slow..is it for you? I couldn’t get in..lol I flew in on your notification link;) thanks;)
Give em what for will ya!LOL I have been having probs getting in and getting kicked out! Seems its going around, glad I got you in the back door! ;D and thank you @Kathy hopefully the youngins will listen!! ;)
@kimmiecv, if the Birds are misbehaving, tell them I said that from now on we’ll use spudcannons instead of slings, you’ll see how fast they straighten up afterwards.
I just whispered you comment in their ears @werewolf69, if that doesn’t scare em straight nothing will! ;D
This is the type of episode that I detest the most, too many steps to achieve a result, take 1 misstep and you gotta do them all over again, Ugggghh.
I just went back to improve my score on this level, and managed to jump from below-average to the #3 score.
Here’s what I did:
Two-bird solution just like video, except first shot flung a little more straight-up and vroomed earlier. This gives it a little more roll to the right when it hits the ground. Trigger middle TNT so that the board hits the three right TNTs hard enough to trigger those. Small round rocks sometimes knock loose the two balanced rock bricks. Second shot just like video.
I’m still 2500 pts behind the top score. I assume that person managed to wipe out the wood boards at top left for total destruction.
4 all struggling there. 2-3 B, many ways, some placed higher.
Another one: YB flat, by ground rather and late vroomed (this practice to aim low is needed for film like BM 2nd shoot – I pass it too with 2 and 3B). BM back arc to: A. 3 TNT or B. wooden board near 3 stones. A lot of variances there (stones are important help to crash in-cave). BB – if needed at gray brick area.
Here’s another approach.
Use the YB to hit the forward edge of the top stone block which is resting on the top of an identical block at an angle.
IIf it’s hit just right it will topple the stone blocks to the far right exploding all boxes of TNT on the right. This should leave one pig and one box of TNT which can be cleaned up with the boomerang bird as in the video.
I think a one-birder is possible with this method, but haven’t achieved it.
thanks. good strategy. 89450/2 with it.
was speeding up immediately. repeat until stones fall favourably (using background for precise repetition). several 86k and 87k scores in an hour of play before getting my current best of 89.5k. more possible with it (bottom completely empty, but one of top stones didn’t fall that time; also the small stones didn’t hit the top-left wooden structure (that sometimes happen)). getting a 1-birder should be possible i agree, but although i got close several times i have never had the left tnt explode after the 1st.
had also experimented with reversing the shots, taking out the left tnt with the 1st, and bringing the top stones down with the 2nd. that works too, but was not more successful with it so settled for the strategy described by @whoosher.
This video is spot on! I ‘m going back to see if I can get the far right TNT.
First I tried the video strategy since everybody seems to think it was the way to go.
Then, I reversed the second shot, but it was too hard and the success rate was really low.
After spending too much time with this strategy, I though “what if the two birds are reversed?”.
In fact the reverse remi is packing more punch than the yellow bird, and is more able to topple the top structure.
So here it is: the first bird trajectory is quite straightforward and simple.
The second bird is a little trickier and you must hit the bottom stone. Like this.
Here is the resulting damage for my best score.
Nothing much left and still 250 below the top score but at least I know how it was achieved ;-)
This is the highscore screenshot.
Hope it helps.
Here for the Challenge & just managed a 1-birder on iPad for 84890 following Walkthrough …… now if I could just get the debris “fallout” to go further right to expode the triple play TNT perhaps I’ll break 90k …. Wishful thinking, wishful thinking, anything is possible in the world of Angry Birds : -)
My score was with 3 birds, my first 2 were using the @asher strat (ty @asher) but I couldnt get the same result. I was left with the two blocks on top so I fired the bomb bird to land just under them and manually triggered, this made the two blocks jump and one landed on the TNT at far right which triggered the TNT at the bottom. This is easily repeatable and gives a reasonable score, if any of the small stones hit the structure still standing on the left it gives you a few extra points
I shot my first two with the @asher strat but didn’t get the two birder after many tries. So…when I got good damage with the second bird, I started flinging the bomb bird in a lob to the TNT. I got quite a few mid 80’s scores and my high of 86,120. I’m giving up and staying with that.
@stocktoad that’s the way I’ve been playing this one as well. I tried all the great strats posted here with varying results but in the end stuck with the 3rd shot as an arc to the far TNTs with the bomb bird. I think all the stone blocks have to fall & be destroyed at some point to get a decent score.
I did get a couple of 2-birders with the strat from @asher but without the TNT trio exploding so the scores weren’t great.
Lots of different approaches for this level! My 87K was with three birds. First as video, second over and back into the TNT pile on the right, third into the wooden lattice on the left. The explosion of Bomb bird sets off the TNT underneath and clears the last of the pesky pigs.
Tried the challenge again this afternoon and was trying the strat by @catsnbirds. Got really lucky when the second bird set off the right TNT and a piece flew up and knocked down the upper inverted “T” concrete blocks and one of them fell down and set off the lower left TNT.
Please do not hate me. Like everyone else,I’ve been playing today’s Challenge trying to get another puppy. After many hours & thousands of flings,I managed to beat my previous score. Each time,I used the same strategy.
In the sling, I just barely touch the yellow bird to the base of the slingshot, launching it nearly straight up. As it starts to come down, I accelerate the bird to break the two wood planks up top, dropping the concrete blocks. You need to have the bird land on the right edge of the cowboy hat, roll thru the stacked piglets,& set off the TNT.
** This is the important part !! You need the angled wood plank at the lower right to roll over the concrete balls and set off the TNT’s. If done correctly, the balls will be launched upwards, hitting the two stacked concrete blocks, dropping them & at least one of the balls down on the wood in the bottom center where the sombrero pig was.
Finally, I shoot the boomerang bird straight ahead, no reverse, at the lower left pig & TNT. This should clear out any remaining debris. Happy flinging to all !!!
There is a screenshot of the score in my album.
@sweetp , @kelani , here’s the link;
The strategy I’m using is to fire the YB low along the ground, and the second bird high arc into the pile of TNTs on the right. Ideally, the resulting explosion throwing rocks around the place will (1) set off the TNT inside to kill the remaining pigs in the cave, and (2) push the stones on top to kill the pig there. (Both require a considerable amount of luck, as the explosion is quite unpredictable.) This makes a 2-bird solution with scores up to about 90K. If (2) does not happen, the top pig can be finished off with the third bird, yielding scores around 84K.
here a video with 84k:
93380/2 for top spot using a strategy not previously mentioned. I’m a bit shocked nobody seems to have mentioned it. Yellow bird moonshot to TNTs on RHS. Bouncing off the little boulders onto the TNT boxes is capable of throwing debris over to the left and quite often will take out the top pig and (crucially for a really good score) knock stones to destroy some of the loose planks further to the left. Also the right hand TNT in the cave often blows. What is most important (and least frequent) is that the stones at the top and other bits and pieces fall down the centre well. Boomerang bird then just needs to be fired along the ground into the remaining TNT.
