One strategy for Trick or Treat level 3-10 is to fire two Yellow birds into the left tower, causing it to topple over. Loft the third and fourth Yellow birds through the remainder of the left side of the structure, rendering the whole thing unstable. The score in the video below is 101,860.

This is by far one of the hardest levels to achieve the 3 star goal. Took me well over 400+ attempts to achieve 104,210 points.

Glad to have stumbled onto Honzik’s method below. In only 4 attempts after reading the comment, I got 105,000 even. It’s been a long time since I’d played Trick or Treat, and now I know why! Thanks, Honzik!

I don’t remember this level being so hard when I played it on my Android, but it was horrible on my ipod touch. I finally got it with 4 birds for 111,360.
I noticed something strange during the billions of times I played this – sometimes the game ended while things were still falling. I ‘failed’ many attempts even though I had one pig left and it would have popped in the fall if the game had waited until everything settled. I’ve been mildly annoyed before when I’ve had to wait for a bird to quit rolling so the level would finish, but this was beyond frustrating to have the game quit early.
I’ve noticed the early finish on lots of levels, seasons and other versions, occurring on the iPad. I agree that this is REALLY frustrating. Especially so when a few more points would give you the 3 stars you’ve been working so hard to get!
This happens on the Android too.

Omg I just can’t do this! I get the 2 pigs in the towers but I can never break through the piles of wood! Stuck at 94,950. Any suggestions on how to get through the rubble?

Most annoying level ever. I’ve been going through each level trying to equal at least the average score, and am about to call this level quits. Best I can do is 99,950.
it took me probably a few hundred tries but I finally did it and got 107,310…I thought I was never gonna get my 3-stars….
Also, I didnt do it how the video showed, I used the first 2 birds to destroy the left tower then used the next couple birds and shot them straight up and back down to destroy the middle stuff which makes the right tower fall…while trying to do this level my way, I destroyed everything in the middle with only one bird (I just got lucky). good luck all!!

Thanks Duke!!!! I tried your method and after a couple of tries started to see how it can work. After about 6-7 tries later, I nailed it with one bird left and 103990 points! Now I have all Seasons completed!
Oh yeah, two secrets to making this work. First, when you destroy the left tower you have to do so in a way that causes most of the trash to fall off to the left out of your way. Then, you have to go really high and really straight up and come back down hugging the left rock wall (that slopes down to the right about 45 degrees). If you time your speed tap shortly after the drop you will generate more speed and crash down farther into the wood pile.
There are more than a few levels that end before stuff quits moving. Not only does this upset me, it surprises me that this one has never been fixed. Going to change my rating of at least Seasons from four to one star for this huge oversight.
Anyway, 100,750 with Neil’s tip on dukedavidsonh1’s method. It took me more than a few tries but this worked best for me. Thank you both!
That alone justifies a 1-star score? What about countless hours of entertainment and incredible replay value for $.99?
I paid $4.95 for the PC version. 3-10 is NOT entertainment, it is close to physical and mental torture.
It took all five birds,but I finally got it using Honzik’s method posted above.

I got 99,190 using dukedavidsonh1’s method. gave me 3 stars and only took about 15 or 20 tries. Hope it helps
this makes me ANGRY!!!! I have racked Seasons, Rio (what’s available), as well as every little level on this original game, but this one little level! I have been working on it on and off for the better part of 3 days now. (Yes, I have no life!) This is ridiculous! I’ve tried everything. I just want my 3 stars so I can move on in the Angry Birds life, instead of being caught up here! :( Any real thoughts, ideas or suggestions to really get 3 actual stars? To all the people who did it in 3 or 4 birds and got excessive points, care to share a video? And yes, major frustration with objects still moving, but the game ends, I really agree there.

Dang, tried for 2 hours and stuck on 97950 ;-(
In my version (latest available for iPhone), the slingshot has limited travel & you can’t get good height on the birds & can’t go over the left tower, like in the vid. Guess I’ll keep trying the method I had been using (same as Duke’s).
I can still manage the height on my iPhone. Perhaps your trajectory is a little off.
Finally did this level and got 102980 by just dive bombing – a very hard level but not as annoying as some of them have been. So keep trying and you’ll do it

Hi guys last night I did tried many times. without seeing the video and reading the comments. even this game it is a New one for me ; I started September Sunday the 4th, so. After see the video and read the comments ; Idid it My score is know 107 430 using only 4 birds and left one. Happy because I know there are many people Stuck…!! so Crystal try Destroying the tower on the front on arc method then; a little bet by the left side and it works .The video does not help at all .Like on Seasons Christmas 1-16 really hard to do it better if you follow the method of the people’s comments ; I did that way and I have on this 100 650 very low but I am happy to pass on this level ..Thank you guys on angrybirdsnest.com best fans site on angry bids and the followers .
107,120. Only 107,120 attempts. (One bird to spare.) Enough. I think your score matches the number of attempts.
There’s a really easy way to do this. Aim the bird so it goes practically straight up, and press the screen so he goes into turbo mode *immediately* after he’s released. He’ll fly high and land in the middle of the wood pile. Do this three or four times and he’ll break right through the middle and both towers will come down at the same time breaking up almost all of the wood. 103630 points after about 5 tries. (I tried the other ways more times than I can count…)
Just redid this method to see if it was a fluke. After 3 or 4 tries, I got 115540.

@honzik Thanks for the alternate strategy. It worked great. Took a few tries. It seems that the towers have to fall separately with two different birds to obtain the higher scores. It was like the first bird went right on center, the second bird to the right of center to get that tower to fall and destroy all the pigs and the third bird to the left of center to get the left tower to fall. When both towers fell at the same time the points were low from the wood destruction.
Also aiming tip with the base of the sling. Just touching the base gets the YB to the right and going further into the base with the YB so it retracts in the upward motion gets the bird on the left side. This aspect requires some minor adjustments.
Activation of the birds as soon as they are released is essential.
Had two YBs as bonus birds.
took many, many, MANY tries… but finally succeeded! got 113! thanks

here we are exactly 5 years to the day from your posting and this is still the #1 strat here, can be done with some persistence using 3 birds for 120+ (actually the rare 125 but not for me)

I once completed all of Seasons with 3 stars, all the eggs, and a few feathers. I like a challenge but I can’t say I enjoyed the Halloween and Christmas episodes. Anway, a few days ago I got an update notice from the App store and I downloaded the Rio Airport which I completed with 3 Stars and all the Apples. I went to check something in Seasons and my 3 stars and eggs were all gone! I can’t think of anything I did to cause this and I almost threw my beloved IPad out the window. I am not a good A..B. player. I don’t play for points or post scores, but I do like to read about others’ success and read how they achieved high scores. So here I am playing Seasons all over (Halloween right now) and finding it as difficult as it was last year. I finished Seasons Christmas of 2010 by finally having my son 3 star 16 on Christmas Greedings which I obsessively worked on and could not 3 star. I was so relieved to be done with it and now I’m starting the torturous process all over. Clearly I am on 3 – 10 and gritting my teeth over the inability to 3 star it. But I say “Onward.” I did it once, I can do it again. I’m 72 yrs. old so I’d.better get on with it. Congrats to all of you who got beyond this aggravating episode!
This was the most annoying level for me so far…I never looked for a walkthrough for any level before, I love the feeling when you manage to get 3 stars all by yourself without any help, but this one was killing me.
duke’s method worked for me, managed to get 3 stars in about 3 attempts, can’t belive this level is actually so easy with the right method :)
Just three birded using the bird straight up approach (cheers Honzik) giving a score of 124380. Not much wood left at all but suspect there are a couple more points to be had. Seeing yellow birds in my sleep – giving it a rest for a while :)
