WHERE'S MY CROWN!?

I received a FREE crown for Red in the early days of the game, by completing levels. It was an “early bird” offer. After this latest update, my crown’s gone missing. Where is it, and is Rovio going to give it back? You cannot give something to a player and then take it away. I should note, that when I click on Red in the arena, the crown is among the “hats” he can acquire, and the crown has no pearl cost listed. Does that mean that I already own the crown, but my character is just not wearing it anymore?

Anyone else have this problem?

Hmmm… @shoemacher you should consider contacting Rovio.

@AngryBroaf It’s one of the hats now and it’s free if you already had it before. Just click on Red in the arena and select it.

@awesomepow Thanks so much for the explanation! Only problem is, Red isn’t wearing the crown in the regular levels, like he used to, even though I selected the crown in the arena….

@awesomepow @shoemacher There’s no need to contact Rovio. Like @deaftalk said, just go to Red’s profile in the nest and apply the already unlocked crown.

@partshade @deaftalk, Thanks both for your help. I did select the crown in the Arena, and Red is wearing it there, but he still does not have it on for the regular levels and map, when he used to before. I’m wondering if that’s the new normal or if there’s an issue. I’d like to know if anyone else has experienced this before I contact Rovio….

The crown is there when Red is still in the “deck” but when he is selected for flinging, either in the area, DC or regular levels, he isn’t wearing the crown as he flies towards the target. So does Red have the X2 power or not?

@kelshe Yes. My Red is getting many more points than before, despite not wearing the crown.
